Thanks for the information here. I saw where the windows download said supports both platforms and nearly tried the update my X3 on my Mac with the windows version of the update. I'll just hold up until I see the Mac version posted again.
Hi again, they now have the Godox G3 Launcher V1.1 for macOS back. Side note, don’t forget to select “Update” on the trigger (Device Info) in the last step when updating it.
Hi, thanks for your comment and for reaching out. Unfortunately for the X3, I don’t think it’s possible to connect to a mobile phone in any way (yet). I’m sure it probably in the future.
There is no Mac os down loader on the website, can you please tell me how can I get that link. I only see 3 downloads and none of them iare mac, like it is on your video.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. I contacted Godox, they found a problem with the macOS Launcher and took it down. They’re working on it and should be back up soon. Here’s their reply: “Thanks for your email and sorry to hear the issue had to you. We're sorry that G3 Launcher V1.1 for Mac OS was currently taken down as our technicians detected a problem and are rectifying it. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Keep trying. As you see in the video, I do get that as well. Make sure you select update or upgrade on the trigger while connected. And make sure the Launcher is v1.1.
Hey Toss, slightly random q - I was just wondering have you ever experienced the Sony/Godox TTL issues of underexposing when shooting wider that f/4? I have read some comments online about this trigger resolving the issue. Just wondering if you had any insight! Cheers!
Hi, thanks for your comment. I’ve also been looking up online about this issue to this and other triggers I’ve had. I have experienced triggers, including X3, to have a known bug with my Sony cameras causing TTL underexposure especially at apertures wider than f/4. There are solutions and suggestions out there by using manual mode, or other triggering systems like Cactus’s V6II transceivers might help bypass the problem. Hope this helps.
@@TossSong Hey Toss, thanks so much for getting back on this! There isn't a great deal of information online about it specifically with the X3 trigger. That's a shame, I was hoping it would have been resolved and I could simply just switch out triggers... I think manual mode it is :( Thanks again for responding, appreciate it. Have a good'n!
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Be patient and press and hold the knob and the test button at the same time (or just the knob) until you see the arrow icon (might be a while). Repeat if you get tired. Also plug it in while the Launcher (make sure it’s G3 v1.1) is on. Then redo the update process. Let me know how it goes.
have the same problem with Firmware ver 1.15 cant recover it from the cheinse screen - Thanks for your help (maybe you have a link to 1.14 that i can try to use ? ) i have win 11 and 2 x3s one was updated without any problem and the other is stuck
Hi, thanks for reaching out. I would try patiently and press and hold the knob and the shutter (bolt) button at the same time for as long as you can wait…while it’s plugged in with the most recent launcher v1.1. Let me know.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Were you able to find it? I know that Godox named their softwares/app very confusing. The names are similar and the version numbers are all over the place. But hopefully you scroll through the pages carefully. Let me know.

Hi, thanks for your input. I know that there’s a lot going on in this video, so I understand that there’s much to look at. At about 5:26 in this video, I finally did.
Try again, press the knob and hold it for awhile or press the test button at the same time. Also plug it back in. (And keep doing it, sometimes it takes a bit.) *And read other comments on here and my other X3 videos as well. Thanks for your feedback.
Great Video!

Hi, do you know how to configure the Godox Flash application for mobile phones with the X3?

@@TossSong So will they put the Mac os download back because I don't see the mac down-loader either only the windows
You can just hold option key while double clicking on the icon to bypass the security screen.
No need to go to Settings menu privacy & security.
Thank you for your comment. This could be helpful for others as well.
Surprised you didn't edit this. Most important part is selecting 'update' in Device Info. page.

too convoluted. Less trouble to buy new X3 with latest firmware.
Thanks for your input. It’s definitely is. Firmware update on most devices tend to be.
