I'm glad Godox is still releasing new products for the X series. I am not a fan of touch screen, but I may pick this up as a backup/lightweight option.
I've never won anything in my life and im 56, keep trying tho....i guess i like wasting time lol I dont have a sony so wont enter this one. You are really awesome Markus, love your channel and you are so kind to do these givewaways and provide the community with such valuable information. In case anyone hasn't told you today, I appreciate you!
The mighty mini kit is such a trip to see. The trigger looks like a winner for sure! That will open some creative options. I guess I need to add a flash trigger and flash to my purchasing roadmap.
Thanks Markus for sharing, this looks like a useful compact bit of kit. Like you I have several Godox flash guns AD200, AD100 etc, so think I will look out for and likely buy a new X3 trigger model.
Changes I would love is being able to customize how the little button functions since I'd set all my groups to manual I would wind up using the button just to switch between Groups or power adjustments. I would love it more than the X-Pro if it did that. 7:21 I love this picture!
Wow, I used to live in Palm Springs. LOVED it! I got to interview Bob Hope and Sonny Bono. Also, man Kara has one hell of a wardrobe! GREAT video buddy!
I saw complaints that touchscreen might not always work outdoors and knobs/buttons are required to always have a way to work quickly even with gloves on/sweaty/muddy/name it, so it's great to see there is still such an option even with most focus still put on touchscreen operation.
I caught the Freudian slip in the description, "addiction to" instead of "addition for" because yes the gizmos can be addictive. I'll look into the X3; all new to me, thanks.
No worry. I don’t review camera gear. I just use 😂. I have been waiting for a micro one. 🎉 Do you have an instruction vid about those? Like what is a good settings etc. Thanks friend. Aloha
After 20 years of photography my favorite camera is the GX800(GF9). Downside is maximum flash sync speed of 1/50th. Thats why I never use it with flash.
You should try a test between having it synced to ad 100 pro, swap from mechanical shutter on sony to electronic shutter -shoot a few shots without flash obvious, then swap back to mechanical. I FOUND a Bug with the X2 trigger and my ad100 pro , as it won't resync back unless u turn them both off , and then on. Curious if is the same to this also.
Hi, as I am into real estate photography, I am mainly concerned about one thing: Nobody mention it, is the "square" icon at the bottom middle clickable? Does it "pause" the controller so the camera thinks there is no flash attached? Is there a way to make camera think there is no flash attached apart from turning off and on the controller (pain in the a..). I need that to be able to tell if exposure for e.g. windows is correct or not...
Hi Markus. I love all your videos with small stuff. But I do have a question for you. Who makes that small black camara bag that you fit everything inside in your video?
How is the battery life on it? Easy to just top it off with a usb battery, but those AA ones lasted forever! And I’m jealous of your GM5, the GM1 doesn’t have a hotshoe.
Ohw yeas, was hoping this one got some proper real reviews to see if it is legit. How perfect it is, that you are it. Awesome and thnx! Hope you can do a proper one
Hello Markus, I have a question for you regarding the Godox XProS, my trigger wasn't wasn't syncing to my Godox AD200. So I tired to do a firmware update and now my trigger isn't turning on any suggestion?
I just picked one up today but I noticed that the one you show has a metal hot shoe but mine is plastic? Is that something they changed? It's so small and light I don't see the plastic being an issue but I would prefer a metal one.
Markus i wuld love to ask you something, ate the Triggers from Godox Cross Compatible? Let me explain my self, if I own a Godox Flash for Nikon, and I want to use it on a Sony Camera (off-camera).. can it be done if I get a Sony Trigger? Or both devices (flash and trigger) nuat be Sony?
i have a question... i only have a sony cx 405 comcorder. it is great but it does not have a hot shoe. is there a way to add a hot shoe to a cx 405? if yes i will get the beta hot shoe.
As I´m interested using this trigger for my micro 4 thirds camera (Olympus pen f) I just wonder what trigger you used for your panasonic as I can only find versions for canon, sony and nikon? Would very much appreciate if you can help out🌻
Totally different setups with each. I usually just use the 100s bare, no modifiers. (although I did a video on AD100 modifiers not requiring an S-bracket) and of course I did two epic videos on AD200 modifiers also not requiring S-bracket. But the whole reason for using 100s in the first place is to be as small, portable and lightweight as possible and NOT carry big stuff. If you're going to use modifiers, yeah, you might as well use 200s
Brave man, putting that AD100 on top of a light weight fold up light stand.
I do like the looks of the X3, thanks for the video.
My flash trigger is the size of a house cat, apparently it’s time for an upgrade? Thank you Markus! 🙌
Especially if its furry

A shirt which same color flash, what a master of details!! Oh, and thanks for flash news!
As a minimalist, this whole video made me 😊
I really like your tiny series. Fitting everything in a backpack is underrated.
Awesome! I'm glad they've finally got some smaller ones. I'm tired of almost breaking them off when people are rushing around at events!
We can always to count on you to bring us up to speed with the latest camera/flash gadgets. Thanks!
Just bought a Godox XPro2 trigger on the recommendation of my trusted retailer. At my age the larger display works better for me.
I just received mine from flashpoint. I like it a lot.
Same here. It’s awesome.
Thanks, Markus. It is a pleasure watching your videos!
I'm glad Godox is still releasing new products for the X series. I am not a fan of touch screen, but I may pick this up as a backup/lightweight option.
Received mine from Godox. Great small trigger. Works as advertised and the battery seems to last quite a long time.
What flash are you using it with? I'm trying to find out if it's compatible with the godox ad300pro...
I've never won anything in my life and im 56, keep trying tho....i guess i like wasting time lol

6:01 Wow Awesome photo ! She look like she's a star out from a 70's magazine.
Totally!
I preordered one and am waiting for it. Excited to see how it works b
The mighty mini kit is such a trip to see. The trigger looks like a winner for sure! That will open some creative options. I guess I need to add a flash trigger and flash to my purchasing roadmap.
I can't wait for them to come off backorder I love this form factor!
Godox is killing it with these triggers! Loved the Borat accent!!
These look like they would be perfect on smaller cameras (Sony A6000 series). Especially for traveling. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing your toys with joys and provide us value ! I enjoy you stay true to yourself.
Looks fantastic, I can’t wait until they release them for Canon! Good luck to the winners.
Ooh I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these! Thanks Markus!
My pleasure!😊
Thanks Markus for sharing, this looks like a useful compact bit of kit. Like you I have several Godox flash guns AD200, AD100 etc, so think I will look out for and likely buy a new X3 trigger model.
It's working, it's working, Natasha!=))
This looks and sound great, Markus. Thanks for the view.

These look pretty cool. Thanks for the review.
I have the FlashPoint model and it works great!
about time that one is doing something like this and its around USD70 I guess, so even price wise tiny
very nice, and the good 100 color is the same color as your shirt, wow
Wow, I used to live in Palm Springs. LOVED it! I got to interview Bob Hope and Sonny Bono. Also, man Kara has one hell of a wardrobe! GREAT video buddy!
So cool!
So cool! Thanks for this review Markus - I had know idea these existed 👍
Love this tiny triggers!
I was just going to buy a Godox trigger! I will wait for this!
Hello Markus . Thanks so much for your nice videos .
Does it work with the Sekonic L858 with Godox? The older XPro II has the L-858 option in the shoot menu
Ty, Markus.
That is really cool.
I just bought that x-pro II and when it arrived I saw pre orders for the upgrade
Hey Markus, a quicker way to adjust the power is to slide left or right on the group you want to change. It's quicker than turning the small knob.
I showed that in the video. But I personally like the knob
I saw complaints that touchscreen might not always work outdoors and knobs/buttons are required to always have a way to work quickly even with gloves on/sweaty/muddy/name it, so it's great to see there is still such an option even with most focus still put on touchscreen operation.
Anyone know when these will actually ship? I pre-ordered it from B&H and it's been over a month now. Showing backorder now. Waiting on mine for Nikon.
Thank Markus. I have one on backorder from Adorama.
Hmm. I think I prefer the ones which have the focus assist beam on the front. Good for shooting events where there is low light.

Marcus you are awesom i I learned so much from you you need to come to my home in Carrollton Georgia you and your wife are welcome❤
Still not on sale here in the UK, and besides the size having a screen you can actually see in the sun is a bonus.
Verrrry Intrestinggggg. Awesome!
Looks amazing

After 20 years of photography my favorite camera is the GX800(GF9). Downside is maximum flash sync speed of 1/50th. Thats why I never use it with flash.
You dont need HSS anyway, it cuts flash power in half. Ive done many flash shoots at 1/50 ruclips.net/video/7HYD9r1ZeAs/видео.html
Finally Something small !!!
👍
Cute reference to Boris and Natachia. Bet most viewers won't have a clue.
I love the size but I have my reservations about the built-in battery.
i like very much, too. Awesome. Picture time.

I have it for canon used it with my v1 love it. but it has some bugs modeling light goes on by itself also sometimes locks up .
Good video 🎉 i like to watch
Thank you for the review

thanks for this video Godox just do a homerun with this one

Your shirt and flash are color coordinated.
LOve it .
Great review as usually
Great Video!!!
It is so cute. I like it.
Thats pretty cool!
Don't forget you can adjust via phone app if you find the touchscreen or the wheel too small.
Very nice!
Hi Markus. I love all your videos with small stuff. But I do have a question for you. Who makes that small black camara bag that you fit everything inside in your video?
Not a flash but have you seen the colbon 60r? RGB and super small. Add add a protector and pretty fun.

Of course you have lol
i realy wanna know how your videos have this american tv show aesthetic, haha love it
How is the battery life on it? Easy to just top it off with a usb battery, but those AA ones lasted forever! And I’m jealous of your GM5, the GM1 doesn’t have a hotshoe.
Flash triggers last forever on very little power
I saw a tester mention 10 hours. This will last less then normal due to screen.
Ohw yeas, was hoping this one got some proper real reviews to see if it is legit. How perfect it is, that you are it. Awesome and thnx! Hope you can do a proper one

Wow love to win one!!!
I want a Markus film school step by step on how to make a film!
Hello Markus, I have a question for you regarding the Godox XProS, my trigger wasn't wasn't syncing to my Godox AD200. So I tired to do a firmware update and now my trigger isn't turning on any suggestion?
Not sure what you did, but make sure HSS is on or off on both, and that they are both on the same group and channel.

Sony has its own hot shoe wiring, different from others
Thanks for sharing.
i have a question... i only have a sony cx 405 comcorder. it is great but it does not have a hot shoe. is there a way to add a hot shoe to a cx 405? if yes i will get the beta hot shoe.
Hot shoes are for picture taking cameras, not video camcorders which cannot take flash pictures
How does it compare size wise to the R2 single pin transceiver from Flashpoint?
Its much smaller

Panasonics coming out soon
I prefer that the impeller is on the left. The design on the right is more for photographers who install large lenses.
So how do I apply to get one of your giveaways?
They are mentioned in random videos
Yahoo I want one!
I'm seeing it listed for preorder on B&H for $89
Was Cara filming with the VX981 for this video? Or was it something else?
RX100vii
Thank you
I need to get me one of those
Markus - does the touch screen work with gloves?
😅😆
I am just wondering why not the ad200 over the ad100
100 is smaller.
I can't fit a 200 in that little bag and it weighs twice as much.
Nothing wrong with 200s though, I have 5 of them.
Afterwards, when you put softbox and mout not make a difference, does it?
Totally different setups with each. I usually just use the 100s bare, no modifiers.
