There is no denying that Saskie Socks are like candy: just fabulous. I made them. They are fun to knit, as we always are looking forward to knit the next step, in the color chart. I learned one more thing, from that pattern: a new way for me to make a heel. My usual way was the flap and gusset. But I followed this Saskie pattern to the letter, and I like that style of heel very much. In my hands, it looks better than flap and gusset. 🍏🍏🍏

I am tuning in to your channel when I come back from work. Your show is very efficient to change the air, for me, from the tensions of my work place. I am knitting a blanket, by pieces, and it is bringing me comfort and peace. 😼🥭😼

Yes, this podcast is making my day. I have a bag of left over yarn, that, for years, I have not known what to do with. Now I know: December Bows for the retirement home where my mother lives. You treat us with such beautiful projects. And such enlightening discussion. Brava !

The lesson for me: when I start thinking of a project, I need to think far enough, to trust that the final object will be wearable. That is a lot of brain work. Often, even with the best planning, testing, blocking gauge samples, and so forth and so on, knitting something is still an adventure. When the object disappoints, I need to find the courage to make tough decision, when necessary. Great podcast. 💦 💦

I'm not the only one in the house, watching your videos! I noticed today that my cat recognises you, on the laptop screen !! When it is you playing, he lifts his head off my lap, and looks, and tilts his head a certain way. I didn't believe anything particular was going on, till I paid attention to his behavior when it is something else playing. Then ( when smthg else ) he just cuddles on my lap, and dozes. But now he seems to identify that I pay attention to you, and he checks what that is, I suppose. But it's funny. Now you have a feline viewer ! Ah ! Ah!

I am inspired by the linen stitch. My mother used to do it, I was too young to appreciate, at the time, but with your presentation here, I can see how charming it is. I will practice a bit, then figure out something to make out of it. I agree with the two other reviewers, that it is done as 'comfort-knitting', because is goes slower.
