My friend is right: your channel is very special ! I enjoy the atmosphere here: knitting is a realistic, happy, rewarding activity. I am now recrankled !! Thank you !! 🌳🌳🦉🌳🌳
A co-passenger on a train showed me your podcasts, and it made my day. Very interesting atmosphere and projects. I used to knit only socks, but now I will try the Lilly Tank Top, thanks to your presentation. Thank you ! 🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺
Here because my sister told me how good your channel is, Emily. Now I can see. Your style of podcasting is very pleasant. You have pure commitment and enthusiasm. I love your projects !!
Yes, I do want to listen to you talking about knitting for half and hour ! Excellent video ! 🐼🥩🐼 I also like your Saltwater Slip Dress, very much. Thank you !
I agree with Eleonore Basinger, that knitting comes with so much happiness. This is hard to explain to a non-knitter. In passing, I like to knit the linen stitch. It takes longer, but the fabric is different, and I find it so rewarding ! Very very enjoyable channel, Emily !
Your version of the Tolsta Tee is such a success !! 🗨🗨 I am very encouraged, that you say it is a very well written and accessible pattern : I am very tempted ! Cheers !
That Tolsta Tee you made is so upbeat ! Thank you for making this whole series of videos, where we can follow your long projects as they progress, over 2 or 3 sessions. It is fascinating. Thank you !
You infused me with lots of energy and positivity, with your podcast ! I am an old days knitter, from before I got married. I have now decided to take it on again. Your Sophie Scarf will be my first project. Thank you ! 🧣🧣🧣🧣🧣
Your Tolsta is sooo nice ! I agree with Pierette St-Denis: Here in Canada, I don't have your steaming hot climate situation, and that heavy cotton garment would get plenty of use ! Your channel is so pleasant to watch. 🐶🐶🐶
I agree with Ines, who says your enthusiasm is contagious ! ! Ah ! Ah ! And it is so refreshing to see that there is so robust a next generation in knitting ! 💚💚💚💚
Watched while traveling on a long train itinerary, on a rainy day. Your program made all the difference between boredom, and a blissful time. There is peaceful atmosphere and a wealth of excellent knitting ideas, in your videos. You also present very well. I decided to try the bamboo yarn you are presenting ! 🪡🚆🚆🚆🪡
Yes, I concur, your enthusiasm is indeed contagious ! 🤗🤗🤗 The Tolsta Tee is a success : good for work and also weekend. You are a sweet little fairy !! 🧚🧚🧚
Something very nice, you did with that yarn kit. I did not know such kits existed. The linen stitch is really cool. It is a great choice of stitch for accessories.
You certainly don't disappoint, Emily ! Thank your for the happy vibes of your programs. You spread serenity and provide a lot of inspiration. 🧧🎪🧧 I really like your Salt Water Slip Dress. Have a great week !
Just one more knitting enthusiast, from Ginevria Bossone knitting group. We are very fond of your channel. Many of us are making some of the patterns you presented. We hope everything goes the way you like, for you!
Genevria Bossone sent me to see your channel, and I really like it ! My heart goes for the Lily Tank Top that you made. Thank you for showcasting many summer designs 🤽♀
Now realizing that your Lily tank top is made of bamboo yarn ! I am discovering that fiber. Thank you for talking about how it is, that it enlarges after blocking, etc. Very interesting.
Everything very good : your knits, your Slip dress, the way you manage your presentations, your projects. I am watching after a hard day at work, and your candor and motivation is helping me put the work stress aside. I very much like your dark green tank top. Thank you. 🍋🍋😊🍋🍋
I like this video. It presents knitting as a realistic, no non-sense endeavour, that any person can do, with patience, curiosity and some support at the beginning. It can become a passion !
As a knitter, you are a rock star ! You take the time to prepare your projects, and then your work is well organized, with excellent results. Long live ! ! 🎂🎂🎂
I like the work created by the linen stitch. It is peaceful, slow work, but good psychotherapy when I need to change gear from a hectic day. It leads to a very elegant knitted fabric.
Knitting while watching your nice podcast. A surprise happened in my knitting world : I received lavender yarn. I thought I was ordering light gray. It looked like it as displayed online. But when I received it: lavender. It is a color I never use, never wear, and don't liked. I decided to make long socks for snow shoeing, with a plum motif. It is complex color work but very enjoyable, and it is turning out beautiful ! My family agrees. I am so impressed. We should never say 'never'. That yarn is from Briggs & Little, Canada, in the Regal caliber ( DK ). They call that color " Fundy Fog ". There is a Bay of Fundy in Canada. The dye on the yarn is something I have never seen before : lilac, with subtle pink dots and subtle pale blue dots. The effect is beautiful.
We don't knit the same things, but for some reason, I get a lot of motivation in your sessions. It must be your enthusiasm and genuine, pure commitment to knitting. 🥾🏕⛰🥾
Watched from Canada Winterland ! I am amazed I found an Australian knitting podcast. You are bringing an all new mood to knitting, from your hot climate. I love it ! Your Saltwater Slip Dress is beautiful. You wear it very well ! I think there is a lot of sheep in Australia. That may help supplying yarn, I hope. Beautiful video !
You don't let us down, Emily, in this program ! I wish I could make the Tolsta Tee as good as yours. Here in Canada, I would not have the steaming hot weather that you have in your country, and that Tolsta would get a lot of wear. Excellent video.
Thank you for mentioning the characteristics of the bamboo yarn. It is very important to be aware that bamboo 'enlarges', after a while.🎍🎍🎍🎍 I like the way you are prepared, methodical, and "to - the - point", while presenting your projects. Excellent. 🎍🎍🎍🎍
Your Lily Tank Top is very cool, perfect for a very hot day. I am also very fond of the colour. All your makes are very high quality and well finished. And congratulations on the Salt Flowery slip dress!
Everything very nice. The fabric you obtained with the green yarn ( Lily Tank Top in green ) is fabulous. I am discovering how nice bamboo yarn can be. Wow !
I agree with Charlie McElwee: in this series of podcasts, we find a very happy vibe to knitting. We can see it is accessible and we find solutions to problems. If I take my time, addressing issues patiently as they present themselves, I am able to knit something I like very much. Thank you for the encouragement.
I don’t know what took me so long to discover your podcasts! I really like the very precise way you explain what you are doing. That Lily Tank Top is just perfect for the steamy summers we have here.
Came to this video bec. wanted to see a variety of knitter's results with the Mini Mock Neck, but I am finding a whole batch of charming podcasts ! How nice !
I really enjoy the way you present your work. It is a plus that you very your designers: your projects don't have all the same creators. I had a wonderful time watching.
I'm another one who likes the linen stitch. I also am very fond of your Tolsta Tee. I like everything about it. Thank you for your hard work and for inspiring me to knit with confidence.
I really enjoy your work, Emily. Both the way you think of your projects, the way you craft them, and then the way you put your video together. You present very well. I wish you a brilliant future.
I also enjoy the linen stitch. I find it meditative. Once I have put myself in the right mindset, that this knit work will be slow and that I have to take it as a relaxing thing, that " will be done when it is done", I really enjoy it. 🐟🐟🐟 It makes a thicker fabric than usual knitting, and it is so rewarding to see the progress of this lovely stitch, the length of what I am making increasing. It is very rewarding, very zen. I once make a long skirt all in linen stitch.
Knitting while watching one of your programs is the reward when I come back from working. I work night shift, it is busy and sometimes difficult. I need half an hour of relaxation, change of beat, in my nice private spot, before I eat and go to sleep. Your podcast does it very well. I have a Tolsta Tee on the needles. Thank you for working hard on your series.
This is a really good video. Beautiful knitting, modelling and advice. Special thanks for showing your linen stitch and your Saltwater Slip Dress. Magical. But everything is really nice !
I am really inspired by your cushion cover project ! Seems simple, but a pillow cover is an excellent way to have a nice color work piece done, if one doesn't want to wear a design that strikes the eye too much. I have a beautiful squirrel color work chart, but I could not figure out on what garment to use it. Pillow cover would solve my issue, and be useful. Thank you !
Sea Salt Dress is very nice. And you are wearing it very well. I like the tone you use to discuss your project, as well as your passion for the craft ! 🐌🐌
I used to wonder 'what does it change' that I write a comment. You are already receiving compliments. But I think more people should tell you they like your videos. Your olive green Lily tank top is charming, and would be really useful to me, on very hot days here in Italy. I like the design with straps that one can tie while adjusting the depth of the decollete. Brilliant.
Your video solves a problem for me: what yarn to use to make a dress I want to make. Your Lily Tank Top is lovely, and I want to make it. But its fabric struck me as exactly the fabric that would make a dress pattern I have, just fantastic. So I will manage to find Go Handmade Soft Bamboo Fine. 🤿🤿 You are a very talented podcaster. 🤿🤿
Thank you for teaching me the characteristics of bamboo yarn. I took note that it stretches quite a bit. Good to know. There is so much to learn, in the world of wool and knitting !!! 🏁🏁🏁
You are very kind to your viewers, explaining so well ! I love your Lily Tank Top and I want to make it. It is great for hot days, and will not take too long to make !
Hi ! .. Watching from County Limerick, Ireland. I agree with what you say, about the linen stitch. I have used it before. Progress is slow, using linen stitch, but we obtain a thicker, cushy fabric. If used on the right project, it is lovely. 🦏🦏 The knitter also need to be in a patient, zen mind set. But it is very rewarding to see the progress, that original and elegant fabric. 🦏🦏
Cheering for the Tolsta Tee ! 🌋🌋 There's something about the linen stitch that talks to me. And it is not only about the look: it also generates a thicker fabric. I like it. 🌋🌋 Overall, a really good session here.
Liked and subscribed ! You offer a very authentic and refreshing vibe to the knitting world. I like your realistic projects, and especially the way you talk about your work. You are passionate and very relatable.
Living in a hot climate ( most of the year ), I really appreciate your summer knits. I am intrigued by that dark green tank top that you made with bamboo yarn. It looks so good. I like your style of podcasting !
Your cushion cover project, in linen stitch, is giving me an idea : I will make myself a nice pouch to keep my small knitting accessories neatly together ( like the small cisors, stitch markers, measuring tape, ect ).
Also watched while travelling, and it made a great time for me, while knitting. 🫑🫑🫑 I am really drawn towards making the Tolsta Tee as same as possible to the way you did it. It looks so good. I live in a colder climate than you, so I will wear it for sure. I watched your other videos before, and I know the wearability issue you had with it, because of your hot climate. But where I live is different. Your t-shirt looks so great. 🫑🫑 Thank you for the inspiration.
This video is helping me "change the air" after a arduous day at work. Back home, your video came in my feeds, and now I have more peace of mind, dreaming of the next pair of socks I am about to cast on. 🐖🐖🐖 This hobby comes with so much happiness !! Take care.🐖🐖🐖
Was usually watching on the wide TV screen, while attending Ginevria Bossone's knitting group, but now I want my own subscription ! Yeah ! I love your channel.
Moonstruck by your Tolsta Tee ! All good ! All good ! I am aware it is very popular, and I have stayed away from it for that reason: I am always contrarian to follow the crowd. But in this case, I may be conquered !

There are lots of great resources on RUclips on this topic! Superwash yarn is a chemical treatment to smooth out the wool fibres. You're keeping my motivation up, Emily ! What a dedicated and skilled knitter you are. I am learning new tricks, and knitting experience in general, by watching your videos.
Very motivating video, Emily. 🪴🪴 I have a question: regarding the linen stitch, do you believe the fabric reacts the same, in the long term, to repeated wear and washing ? Or is the thicker knitted fabric less susceptible to stretch ? Have you ever knitted a garment in linen stitch ? 🪴🪴 Thank you very much ! ! 🪴🪴
That’s a good question! I’m not too sure I think you’re right that being a thicker fabric it would stretch less, but I suppose it depends on the fibre and density of the fabric
On a long distance train journey, my neighbor was watching your podcasts. I glanced. And glanced some more. She noticed. Finally she smiled and showed me what she was watching. I logged in. Very interesting. Now I am a follower ! I really like your Lily tank top. Looks perfect for hot weather. 🦜🦜🦜
When we learn how to knit, in Quebec, Canada, our first makes are scarves. Many of them. Then we are promoted to other things. It goes without saying that it takes a lot to impress us, here, about scarves. But your Sophie Shawl is original. It's border is interesting, neat. I also like your cushion cover project a big lot. Liked and subscribed !
This recording was a good travel companion, today. 🚏🚏🚏It was very nice to watch during the long stop over, at the central train station. I sat on a bench with my knitting and Pepper Knits on my tablet. 🛤🛤🛤 It was perfect ! ! 🛤🛤
The Tolsta striped t-shirt you made is a winner. 🛤🛤🛤 I watched this episode on my phone while travelling on the train, and it made the ride so pleasant ! Thank you.🛤🛤🛤
All your makes are full of charm. You are a hard worker !! 🐕⛳🐕⛳🐕⛳🐕
My friend is right: your channel is very special ! I enjoy the atmosphere here: knitting is a realistic, happy, rewarding activity. I am now recrankled !! Thank you !! 🌳🌳🦉🌳🌳

I have to say this is one of those trendy designs that is worth all of the hype!
I like the Tolsta Tee. I want to make it after I am more experienced ! I would be so proud to wear it !!
I really like the t-shirt you are wearing, as well as the linen stitch. Good job ! !
Congratulations for 1000 views ! I like the linen stitch on your cushion cover.

It goes without saying that it takes a lot to impress us, here, about scarves. But your Sophie Shawl is original. It's border is interesting, neat. I also like your cushion cover project a big lot. Liked and subscribed !
Thank you! So happy to have you join 🥰
This recording was a good travel companion, today. 🚏🚏🚏It was very nice to watch during the long stop over, at the central train station. I sat on a bench with my knitting and Pepper Knits on my tablet. 🛤🛤🛤 It was perfect ! ! 🛤🛤
Sounds like a perfect way to spend travelling ☺️🫶🏻
The Tolsta striped t-shirt you made is a winner. 🛤🛤🛤 I watched this episode on my phone while travelling on the train, and it made the ride so pleasant ! Thank you.🛤🛤🛤
