I like your collection of socks, your collection of sweaters, ........ your collection of everything ! Excellent talk about all the things you made. Your presentations are so inspiring !
I am impressed ! This deserves to be watched many times, as there are so many great ideas there. You finish your garments very well. Your makes are lovely !
What a source of inspiration ! A session to come back to, when I wonder what to make. The two hand bags at the end, are really lovely. And everything else. Thank you.
Dio, this is quite an impressive assortment of beauties that you crafted ! Very many of them I like very very much. You are an excellent sock knitter. I enjoyed !!
Your produced so much, in 2023 ! All very well made and thoughtfully commented. 🥝🥝 You give me faith that I will improve my level of knitting, if I am persistent. Thank you !🥝🥝
I am mesmerized with your collection! To me it is a great reference video, when I want ideas about what to knit. Your discussion is also very interesting and practical. 💚💚
I will have to watch this many time, to extract all the benefit I can get from it. Many many great ideas ! And your method of presentation is so well organized !
Love of knitting and dedication to quality. That is what I find here. You make a very good video. I find very many good ideas here. You are also very organized and efficient in your presentation. With the same amount of works knitted, other podcasters make a 2 hours + video. You are doing excellent !
You are a beautiful ambassador for knitting. Very nice review of everything you made. Many patterns went into my 'knitting book' !! 🗻🗻🗻 You also present very well.
Impressive session, for sure. No wonder it was watched almost 24 000 times ! Your works are diverse, very well made, and well finished. I will watch your other podcasts.
My husband is a Human Resources for a large company and he interviews people for hiring, all day long. ✅ HE WOULD HIRE YOU ! ✅ Your work with immense commitment, constancy, with attention to details. You are self-disciplined and self-motivated. Your end-results are excellent, and you are so so kind ! Excellent series of podcasts.
Great presentation. It was a sweater festival. The ones I like the most are : The Lento, the Zipper man, the Salerno and the Dear Duomo sweaters. 📗🥒🥒📗 I will watch this video again, when it's time for me to decide on a sweater pattern. 📗🥒🥒📗
Your summer knits are very handy inspiration for us in Italy. You follow a neat organization, in your presentations, so your program is pleasant to follow. I am drawn towards your Lilly Tank Top. It has great draping, and would be a great option for hot days when I am staying at home or going to the beach. Thanks !
I am impressed by the number of knits you made in a year. It shows you aim at quality and practicality. I will watch this again, later on, when I need inspiration. Congratulations !
I counted 28 works ! ! ! 🏈🏈🏈 You are wearing that Bonfire Sweater so well !! 🏈🏈🏈 Same about the Zipper Sweater !! You had a very successful knitting year.
Dear Duomo Sweater is a sensation ! The neck line is perfect. I ha always been afraid to start a sweater, but now I am very tempted. You run a very appealing channel.
28 well finished projects in a year, makes more than two a month ! ! You are a very gifted knitter. Great at getting your tops to fit you very well. 💐💐💐💐
I find your Salerno Cardigan very very elegant. I really like it. I love everything about it. Just one example: the cord finish for the wrists. So neat.
I would award you the prize for the best choices of clothes to knit, in terms of wearability. Your Salerno Sweater is perfect ! You want to make clothes that you wear frequently, and that don't catch dust in the closet, unused. That is the best philosophy. Kudos ! ! !
Congratulations on such an outstanding set of garments you made. I will watch again, as it takes more than one sitting to get the full benefit. Thank you.
Wonderful to see all the projects that you finished ! 🦾🦾🦾 You accomplished so much. I hope you can set private time aside to rest and find a healthy balance of fun things you enjoy. I am saying that because you are such a hard worker, and very dedicated. It was nice to take my coffee with you today !! 🫐🫐🫐
So many compliments were made by other reviewers: I agree with all the praise. The two hand bags at the end are very creative projects. There was a flurry of sweaters, cardigans and socks, …. not possible to decide which is best, as they are all excellent. _. Special compliments about the way you finish your makes.
Thank you for this very rich and honest video. Too bad the Springfling Sweater doesn't fulfill its mission. It is looking so good. But I understand your issue, about it. I learned a lot of things. 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌
Very impressive compilation of your works ! ! _ For example, I like the Linea Socks very much ( color pistachio ). Nice design. I liked that you mentioned the type of bind off : the Jeny's Surprinsingly Stretchy Bind off. Very pretty. I am checking up a tutorial about it, I want to learn it. 🚞 Thank you for mentioning the small details, that, in the end, make the difference ! !
This is all so interesting ! 🏞 Greetings from Canada ⛰ You volunteer very honest and sharp comments about your projects, which is very very helpful for me. I will watch your other podcasts, and wish you a long career as a knitter and podcaster !! 🌋
This session is a treasure of information. Just one example : the Dear Duomo Sweater. You mention the tubular cast on, and you show it. Very interesting. As well, the neck line done with a crochet chain stitch as baseline. That solves your recurrent problem of the collar being too bulky. Wonderful. I took notes.
Hi. I am a crocheter, but am trying to get better a knitting. I am working on an entrelac scarf for skill building, or, i am trying to knit it, lol, i have frogged it to restart so many times. I think its amazing that you are able to rip down or even add to a finished piece to improve or make it better..... once i make a big mistake, i always have rip it all down and redo the project. Is crazy how you can easily find on RUclips how to complete a certain stitch, but not a lot of " thorough" lessons on how to fix mistakes.... but i guess that comes with time. I really enjoyed your project walkthrough.
Loved your episode! I also testknit the AAA Lily tank. Im really gutted cause I forgot to download the pattern, I just accessed it in Slack and now I can't make another one. 🤦♀️😪 I really like your second bamboo version
this was a great introduction to your channel, thanks heaps for sharing your makes! I made a Tolsta this year as well but I'm not happy with the yarn/pattern combo so I think I need to rip it out and try again. Where do you get your Drops yarns from, if you get them in Aus? I was trying to find some locally for a test knit and ended up giving up!
I have never watched you before but I very much enjoyed your podcast. I was very impressed by the last accessory you showed. Honeycomb brioche! Wow. You should be proud of the work you’ve done in 2023.
Hello from the Gold Coast Qld. First time viewer, so Lovely to find another Aussie Knitting Podcast. As a long time Sock Knitter using hand dyed merino/nylon yarn, you might want to go down a needle size to give your socks a firmer fabric, the reason for pilling is because the sock is rubbing against the inside of your shoes.. You have made some Beautiful Knits.
I am stocking on a dozen of good ideas for projects for me to make, after watching your program. Very good video. I am not sure, but I suspect there was significant logistics behind the show, to organise this into an efficient and pleasant presentation. Very very well done !
Hello from Beausejour Canada. I love the petite knitter. That spring fling has got to be converted into a winter sweater. If I were you I’d buy more yarn and do sweater surgery to make sleeves and add length. If you can do an afterthought heel you can put lines in after ribbing than 1 row leave plain then put a lining in and cut the middle stitch. Attach yarn and knit then graft afterwards. You can do that to your colourwork hat too
I was so excited to find your podcast. I live in Brisbane, Qld, so was over the moon to find an Australian. Your podcast is considered and fun, interesting and for someone who hasn't made podcasts before, you are doing a fantastic job. Lu xx
I'm a first time viewer, watching in Vancouver, Canada. I really enjoyed this and will look forward to watching your channel in the future. Happy New Year!
I really enjoyed your honest critique of your knits, lots of good information. The springfling by petite knits is very pretty, maybe you could shorten the sleeves back to the flowers and use the extra yarn for adding length?
Hi Emily, excited to find a podcaster in Australia! I'm in Melbourne. I loved looking at all your 2023 knits and I am looking forward to watching your podcasts from now on.

Just found your channel! Excited to see what you knit in 2024 and loved getting to hear your thoughts on each of your finished projects :) Your honey purse looks so cute! Definitely going to have to use that project for some of my scraps!
Hi Emily, your channel popped up when I was watching my usual knitting podcasts and I was surprised to hear that you're also from Perth. Very impressive. That makes 28 finished works, in a year. Big and small ones. 🦏🦏 I can only try to imagine what an incredibly busy woman you must be !! 🦏🦏 Not to mention that all you make is high quality.
Listened to this one with a lot of attention. I took in many messages, learning points. 🧩🌲🌳🌲🧩 One example: I sense your quest towards getting the neck line that you want. It is my main challenge, when I make a sweater. That part of the garment is actually very scary for me, to undertake. I am learning a lot from your discussions !!
A lot of work and thought went into this video. Kudos. I am impressed by your collection. I also notice the progress you are making. That is very encouraging for me, as I am not an advanced knitter ( but you are ). I benefit a lot from your experience and advice. 🪗🪗

Thank you! I have some fun plans brewing in my mind to share ☺️
Hey from Melbourne :) love seeing all your summer knits, stay cool over there chicka.
Thank you so much for sharing! You’ve introduced me to a few patterns I have not heard of and will be knitting those this coming year.
This is the first video of yours that I've watched, and I really love your podcasting style! I'm looking forward to future videos of yours :)

Just found your channel! Excited to see what you knit in 2024 and loved getting to hear your thoughts on each of your finished projects :) Your honey purse looks so cute! Definitely going to have to use that project for some of my scraps!
Thank you! It is so perfect for scraps
Hi Emily, your channel popped up when I was watching my usual knitting podcasts and I was surprised to hear that you're also from Perth. Nice to hear about all your knitting projects and interesting to know that you also like Drops Lima as much as I do. I order mine from Wool Warehouse as the shipping is very reasonable. Currently enjoying knitting my 4th Field sweater 😂and there are plenty of other wips to keep me occupied. Love taking my knitting to the beach and really looking forward to wearing it all next winter. I was hoping to knit the Kerr sweater also after seeing it on the 'It is a Sarah' podcast ....I love her content. You're doing a great job too.
Von.
So happy to find another Perth knitter! Happy knitting ❤️
It definitely appears that your tension is very tight on your colorwork. You’ll need to be consciously aware of it and when it stops maybe continue a few rows in the larger needle size before dropping down? I would practice doing swatches to avoid this. It is very noticeable on both colorwork sweaters I’ve seen o you do. I am a loose knitter and actually feel I need to keep the same needle size throughout, although when I knit the Lumme once blocked I can’t tell a difference going down the needle size.
Thanks for the advice! I think it’s mainly down to me swapping from continental to two-handed for the colourwork - I’ve noticed my English knitting is much tighter
But I still love both sweaters and think they look great!
why did you knit the zipper sweater man instead of woman? did you simply already have the pattern or was it a conscious decision for yourself?
Good question! Yes you’re right, I already had the pattern ☺️
Your presentations encourage me to knit more. 🟩🟩 Thank you so very kindly !!
