Well Gorfield is notoriusly known to keep John "safe" even if his only porpus is to feed the beast its favourite food and get hunted by it around the house. Also Gorf is atleast somewhat susseptible to explosives, atleast in his lesser forms. After that he becomes too much to handle by annyone.

This is definitely the best narration of all the videos coming from this channel. It reminded me a bit of how Thought Potato narrates his videos. And Gorefield was the best thing to come out of the Halloween season this year. I do wish we got to see the second form of Gorefield that you started off the video with finished, though, so that is my only critique. There are a lot of creatures and organisms I would love to see use this parasite concept, such as Tarkatans, Matango, and a hypothetical hyperdisease that is at least partly responsible for the Pleistocene megafaunal mass extinctions in an alternate timeline.

Honestly, I think this sort of infection could work with Warhammer Fantasy/40k's Chaos Champions to Spawn route. Short summary of what happens there; in that setting, some people receive the favor of the chaos gods and start to gain blessings in the form of mutations (or possibly curses, depending on the perspective of the individual). Most of the champions collect more gifts over time, usually with battle and bloody rituals that expose them to more warping magic, and there are two outcomes for those that are not killed, transformation into a demon lord or collapse into a chaos spawn, a grotesquely mutated creature that generally presented as overgrown lumpen bodies masses with additional eyes, tentacles, and limbs, even some growing additional spines, eye-stalks, claws and insectoid features, additional faces growing across the skin and end of limbs and other similar like mutations. This parasitic worm is a pretty close match to its results, particularly with the change to limb structure at the beginning and the near-unkillable end state. (Chaos Spawns in-game are relatively tough if not particularly great fighters)
