Great video! I love playing Guardians in my casual games. I'd love to see an intro video/roster build for Asgardians! Especially with the new Mighty Thor/Loki box that released. Id be looking to using Beta-Ray Bill + that box 😊

On casual nights I've been playing with pure MODOK CS with Killmonger and Rhino as the core. The purpose of the list is to make use of priority or last-activation, whichever you may get. If you win priority, you pop off with Usurp the Throne. If you don't have priority, you use Robbery as a last activation play. MODOK can also give Rhino power by transferring attacks to him.

First let me say thank you for taking the time to record this video, however please think first what you have to say, write it down; I lost count of the: " you know" and "Ehmm ...". Almost every 5 seconds, you know?!

Great Video! I still think kingpin is a solid leader for criminals so doing a sldd/kingpin and whichever you prefer for the crisis set up would be solid. I love the new Loki! Great call out on recal with him. I think Rhino is still a must take for CS. I agree Sandman isn't very good ATM. The damage to produce is just bad design imo. I think if they made the sand constructs like magneto's and he can use them to to attack through or something would make him better. Shocker is an affiliated lizard like model, better with kingpin than sldd, but solid 3 threat. As a side note your audio had reverberations periodically in the video.

Criminal Syndicate was the first team I ever really clicked with in this game, but I haven't tried them out since I played them a ton back in the day. I'm really excited to try them out again, but it has been so long and they've changed so much that I'm a little intimidated. I've got a lot of models to build up and paint before I can crack out a list!

Isn't Klaw good as a leader with Shadowland Daredevil? Since you can use the ninjas to trigger Klaws leader ability.

Daredevil, wrecking crew, silver sable is going to be a blast. Daredevil relied more on splash characters in the past and not needing to do that anymore will make all according to plan less taxing. Daredevil is a respectable option for walking to the middle and just standing there too. Love the idea of using cat and the spider. Spectacular Spiderman is great with Kingpin and half the combo is affiliated. Excited for criminals in the new meta!

It's possible I missed it, but I don't remember seeing you mention Captain America and the discount for Hulk or Cable, probably some others. There's also probably something with inhumans, but I haven't played them, so I'm not positive. Thanks for producing content to keep us entertained!

I’ve been considering cutting CGR and taking OG Ghost Rider. GotG hit hard, but they can also be pretty squishy. Ghost Rider doesn’t help the squishiness, but his power generation off of them would be crazy.

they lost cosmic and now their best ttc my guardians are on the shelf now so sad and webs still haven't been nerfed at all.

My issue with hammers is that guardians hit so hard without them, but the opponents get brought up to their level and it’s a lot harder to survive

Good video and nice visual guide to introduce someone to safe extracts! I just want to add some precisions about the X-Men part. First Class only lets affiliated X-Men characters interact for free once and not for all interactions and it wouldn't work on Black Cat in the exemple given because it only affects affiliated characters.

We house rule 2s and 6+ must be in affiliation, hellfire can only have one 2 and one 6+. Dark dimension can have two 2 threat, and no additional 6+

I think you were thinking of Killmonger usurper when you were trying to remember a recent pouncer! Also I was kind of low on Werewolf by Night but you made good points about how insanely good his howl is, and the potential to place off his counter attack can make attacking him really punishing.

Very good list of these. I would say that you can also do move, move, grab, bump in the night away with iron fist under midnight sons to end up in the same position as the toad safe grab.

That's damn cool. I can't wait to paint him. Also, it makes me wanna grab a few custom miniatures to paint as horsemen. Super excited! After seeing Gladiator, Exodus, and the other mutant champs, my want list has shrunk. I REALLY hope they do a few Age of Apocalypse characters.

I think that there are two characters who should be on your Horsemen list that you passed over: Mr. Sinister and Omega Red. Both of them are X-adjacent, though I am pretty sure that they're mutants themselves; both of them are lacking in affiliations, and this Horsemen affiliation would help that; and both of them have status effects that the Horsemen want (Omega Red's gameplan also keys nicely off of what Apocalypse can do). At the very least, I would expect Omega Red to be a Pestilence option.

I really like how this leadership works. I think there are still things that need to be clarified, but overall it is a very clever leadership. I am curious which characters will be eligible to be horseman.

I think his affiliation will be less prone to splashing than any other, because there is so much synergy with having more horsemen on the table.

In the X-Men: Evolution cartoon the Horsemen were the following: Professor X - Death, Magneto - War, Storm - Famine, & Mystique - Pestilence. Magneto and Storm were also Horsemen in the movies (along with Archangel and Psylocke). Mister Sinister should also be considered. He hasn't been a horsemen, but his origin is tied to Apocalypse, and the two work together a lot. He's even shown in one of Apocalypse's tactics cards.

Unless I'm severely mistaken, Werewolf-by-Night's counter attack triggers *before* the enemy makes its attack. The trigger is when WBN is targeted, not after the attack is resolved. That means that WBN can potentially daze his attacker before the damage goes through. Granted, 3 power is still pricey, but the timing advantage seems important. Also, keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to your Apocalypse breakdown!

Maverick will also turn off Immortal Hulk and the sentinel revive. For Draculas attack back, keep in mind that he's range 2 on any attack besides his spender. Venoms healing attack is 1 dice more and rqnge 3

CORRECTION: Sunspot only does 1 damage when he’s dazed or KO’ed. The flare tokens increase the range. That’s my bad!
