There’s some that aren’t afraid to speak of other religions and not be judged so it shouldn’t be any different than those of us who give glory to God. We should be able to be open about our Christianity and feel good about it. I give these people a thumbs up for being true to God. ❤

God showed me once in a dream that I was walking down a long royal hall. It had doors on both sides of me as I walked and the doors were opened one by one with people from my beginning until that moment that had shared the love of Christ with me along my way. What is your purpose in this life? For us as believers it should be to serve God - seeking His will rather than our own. Losing our life so that we will actually find it; by finding what He's created us to do. Willing to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow after Him. He's created each of us for a purpose, and the main reason most believers have a powerless life is because they aren't committed to doing His will. They live a life of denying His Lordship. And great power is given to those whom He can trust, those who offer their bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to Him (Rom 12:1-2). There's great power given to those who commit themselves to His service. Even Jesus had to be doing the Father's will in order to do what He did (John 5:19), and as a result, look what He was able to do. His disciples followed His example, even unto death, and look at what they were able to do. So we should ask ourselves, "who do we serve", "who is our Lord".

Thomas was known as a "doubter", but the Bible never tells why. I think Dallas created a reason for us to see why Thomas became a doubter. And later, Thomas was not there when Jesus first arrived on the scene after his resurrection, so again, Thomas doubted what they'd told him - that The Saviour had risen. Our generation is full of doubt about Jesus. Many have lost loved ones and lost hope as well. I'm sure many can relate to losing a loved without good reason, or to the hands of a violent person. I also think that it was not time for the "last sign". And in the last scene of season 4, Jesus tells him why he didn't raise her. I think we'll see in future episodes the challenges Thomas will have to go through until he is finally satisfied at the moment Jesus shows up and has him put his fingers into his pierced palms and in his hand in His side. Then all doubt will melt away. I look forward to the day when I can see His face and dwell with Him forever.

That still doesnt explain why Dallas Jenkins decided to have her die and Jesus not heal her. I am upset about this. In reality I believe jesus would have healed her. Jenkins just wanted to be like his dad in his writings. And then to make it worse the writers went on to have poor Thomas in agony and suffer grief and watch Jesus heal other people while the love of his life didn't get healed. I have been a Christian for 49 years and read through the entire Bible several times and what they did to Matthew turns my stomach and makes me want to cry! And Matthew who is in heaven sees it.

Let's pray for everyone in Hollywood instead of demonizing and dehumanizing them. When you watch a movie, use the credits as a prayer list...say a quick prayer for the cast, the crew, the directors, the producers, the writers, the costumers & make-up artists...even the caterers. There are so many people who depend on that industry for their livelihood who are never in the public eye. Pray for them, sit back, and see what God does! We should also pray for the Christians who are living and working in the entertainment industry, that God will bless and provide for them, and use them for His glory. One Christian who has begun to show his faith in his work is Ethan Hawke. He and his daughter Maya worked on a movie called "Wildcat", a biopic about Christian author Flannery O'Connor. Hollywood is not promoting the film at all, and it was released to only a very few select theatres. As Ethan said in a recent interview, "God doesn't sell."

I’m sorry for the long message truly enjoyed your discussion on the chosen, the anointing and end digging deeper on that what I really enjoy learning and have done some myself and wanted to know if you had any videos which is kind of hard to find about the culture in the history during the time of Jesus and the Bible itself that do offer a lot of clarifications on things in the Bible, for example Language, so for example, when I read Abraham for the first time or second when I was long time ago, and God would call out to Abraham and he would say here I am and I thought that what a strange thing to say when God Almighty is calling you out. It just seems so simple and then I studied the language and looked into it and what he was saying was so much more than here I am it was here.
