In Season 4, Eposide 7 of The Chosen, we see something different than in all other episodes in the series. We see the idea or concept of awakening from the sleep of death and darkness. Throughout this show, we see the decisions Jesus makes in regards to Lazarus' sickness, his waiting to go, and the answer He provides the disciples for the purpose of returning to Judea after the Jews tried to stone Him.
We see victory over death in Lazareth's resurrection, grief by Thomas, and Mary Magdelen beginning to understand exactly what is unfolding - while the disciples refuse to acknowlege what Jesus has made plainly clear about His future.
This episode is chock full of insights from Scripture and also has a practical call for us to evaluate our own lives in light of the disciple's experience.
