As we are deep into a contentious presidential election season, it may be time to ask ourselves some challenging questions.
As disclaimer, I have a unique history and perspective on this subject. I have a Master’s Degree in Political Management from George Washington University, ran numerous Congressional campaigns, was elected to public office myself… and have degrees in theology and Bible and am back in ministry.
Yesterday, I recently shared a controversial short video asking if Donald Trump was a false god? Of course, I wasn't claiming he was. The question was, are some Christians making one of him unintentionally? I shared some people are claiming Trump and Jesus' trials were comparable. Yes, Trump is a very controversial topic in my family. Some think he is the best thing to happen in politics in a long time, and some literally start yelling at his name, believing that he is the cause of all our problems since Reagan. Personally, I could care less about politics. All of us need to pray for our nation and her leaders. We need to ask God to give us and our leaders the integrity to make the right decisions. I've just found your channel and want to thank you for speaking up for our Christian lives and faith.
I am so glad you found my channel! I've seen a lot of families fight and stop talking to each other over Trump. Many of the with deeply held Christian beliefs in our Lord Jesus Christ.
