Hurricane Helene: Massive Impacts from the Florida Panhandle to the Southern Appalachians
Hurricane Helene will make landfall on Thursday night as a potential Category 4 hurricane near Apalachicola, Florida. Winds of over 130mph will be possible in that area, producing tremendous amounts of damage. In addition, extreme storm surge flooding will occur in the Big Bend area and even as far south as Tampa. Here is a breakdown of the impacts:

The majority are records from northern Greece to Ukraine. Italy, Albania, and Athens, Greece not so much.

All the RARE weather events aren't as RARE anymore. Climate change is VERY real and so is possible human extinction or close to it. Exponential changes. Nobody is ready.

How does this pressure anomaly compare to the 2021 western north american heat dome?
It was stronger because 500mb heights reached around 601dm, while the current heat wave has max dm in the 598-599 range

Yeah I don't expect any snow. For the next 3 to 4 weeks I mean I think this weather pattern is going to persist and through the end of winter I live in Minnesota Central you want to know how much snow we've gotten this year 4 in that's it all winter long this El nino o is killing all the winter weather this year killing it look what's going on in the East Coast I mean they get dumped on with snow then it rains dumped on with snow then it rains I mean this is the screwiest winter I have ever seen I wish weather people are just more honest and give honest opinions their own opinions they look at the facts and they tell us just be straight up yep this is going to persist all the way through winter there is no need to sugarcoat it.
