  • Our quiet weather will soon turn active with a pair of troughs dropping south starting on April 24th. Severe storms are possible across the southern and central Plains and Mississippi Valley, moving east into the western Great Lakes over the weekend.
A second trough brings a reinforcing threat of severe storms for the southern Plains and Mississippi Valley over the weekend, moving into the Ohio Valley by Monday, April 29th.
In addition, widespread rainfall for much of the Great Plains, Midwest, and Great Lakes where 1-2" possible, and 2-4"+ from portions of Texas to Missouri between April 25th and 29th.
This also means many days of above average temperatures for the entire eastern half of the US during the end of April and beginning of May.
Too early for details, but stay weather aware.
I'll post an updated video in a few days once the details become clearer.
