I always get rid of sweepers before cutters. You can't block the machine guns of sweepers, while it's very easy to parry/counterstance cutters

I like to put synergy on aerith. As Of intergrade, the spells cast via synergy do not cost mp. This will further conserve the mp (which you will need with hell house, because no mp recharge when you get to wall market)

Former that fridge boss for me was the hardest, followed by Tomassi 2 and Essej. Former was so bad and irritating that I smashed my laptop screen because of it back in 2020.

Cheers for the guide. I followed it basicially starting Chapter 4 and copied everything nearly 1:1 (My materia were not leveled) but I beat everything first try including Bahamut/Ifirt, Pride and Joy, etc. Thanks to you the game actually felt easy and I had a harder time when I played on Normal by my own lol. Thank you, I will recommend this to anyone!!

I had high hopes until trying to make it to the ship for the first time. You can't save during that tutorial segment. So it takes a couple minutes for another attempt. I take an adreno right as I approach the door, but they kill me before I can do the stupid hold command to enter the ship. I am already feeling defeated 5 minutes in.

I'm watching these years later and it already helped me a lot + I feel like I understand the mechanics for the first time LMAO Cheers 🎉

Supernova doesn't seem much harder than hard mode. I don't fast travel much besides to store loot in my ship, and the survival mechanic made it so there is a reason for food and water to exist. I actually have died less in Supernova than in hard mode. I think they needed something a little more violent. Maybe its the shoddy ai, the fact you can buy a set of 20 def helm and armor right off the bat(theyre cheap af and sold in a few spots for less than 500 for the set), the idea of slow mo making it far to easy to 1 tap a human or put every round in the weak points of something tankier, maybe its the fact they never seem to have enough enemies and they all seem incomplete and never dodge running in straight lines at you..... The game is too easy. Side note, I find the lack of named NPCs a bit boring. Maybe its just my fuzzy memory but I feel like Fallout had a lot more interactions even if they were small and had no bearing on the story whatsoever. I think that's one of the many reasons I find the world feeling a little empty. It has purdy views though. All in all a great game, I'd recommend it. Todays standards for games are pretty low, and this game is so close to mediocre making it better than anything else made lately.

Just got my first platinum trophy thanks to you! Through this entire series your advice and quips have made it an extremely enjoyable watch even though the videos are quite long. Great guide, couldn't ever see the dialogue options on other speed runs, but this one was really simple and easy to follow. Still works in May 2024. Only thing that was different was there was no [Temperament] "youre getting flusted..." option at the end. I picked no.2 "I destroyed your experiements..." and thankfully it still got to the point she surrended peacefully. I followed the exact same choices and pattern as you and for some reason it just didn't show up... maybe being the spacers choice edition? I dunno. But thanks none the less 👍🏼

Does this work with the spacers choice edition? I know on my first playthrough Sofia had much higher skills checks, such as 150 persuade instead of 100..

Those who are still playing with this guide, be careful cause at the end the dialogue has been changed.

At the end when you have conversation with Sophia the last dialogue has been changed for me. Is it due to update? Now its asking for Intimidate 80!!

If anyone reading this has doubts, dont stress. It's actually really easy! It may take you 2 hours buf just have the guide going alongside your attempt. Also you can do the quest for Ellie on the Groundbreaker for some extra easy XPand Bits. All you gotta do is talk to Udom and get the girl in fhe hospital to work her debt and then remember to speak to Ellie afterwards.

Former fight 1 is cake if you grab the orbs and launch them when he flips his eye to the big opening. Took him out in 5 minutes.

This game has a stupid hard mode because in every other game using items is the most important thing when dealing with hard mode and in this game u can't when no one even uses items in easy mode anyways because in easy u don't need items anyway so it's bs

Thanks for the guide. Helped me with the last two trophies needed. Took multiple tries to get Percival to unlock the door and to steal from Gladys but got there in the end. :)

To avoid the Ministry, you can speak to Sophie in her office after watching the video message and pick "we need to talk about the lifetime employee programme" and she'll give you a key to the Hope. Although I'd dealt with the cartographer on my playthrough so don't know if it's an option without, but this and planting the tracker on Welles' terminal gave 5 minutes of extra gameplay but more XP. Siding with the Board swapped the enemies, but everything else remained the same.

I have been very happy to find your hard mode guide. It's lame of me to need it for every character for every fight 😊 BUT, I really need the AirBuster set up for Tifa. You said she was gonna be the healer, so I'll have to wing it and see how it goes.
