Shadowbolt's cast time isn't increased with rapid deterioration because it's a destruction spell.

Dark Harvest Affliction unfortunately sucks in Raids at the moment, it has much lower numbers than Soul Link Demonology and Conflagrate Destruction Warlocks, with SM/Ruin (Shadow Mastery + Ruin) taking the top spot by quite a lot. DS/Ruin (Demonic Sacrifice + Ruin) isn't competitive with SM/Ruin anymore because they nerfed Demonic Sacrifice into the ground in exchange for letting you get it earlier in the tree, making it plainly worse than Shadow Mastery which not only offers a bigger Shadow Damage boost, but it also lets you keep your Demon for a bit of extra DPS in the time that it remains alive. And the reason why Master Demonologist with something like a Succubus isn't better is because it causes more Threat, meaning you spam less Shadow Bolts and end up doing less DPS as a result, and you lose out on things like instant cast Corruptions which can make up to 15% of your total damage output, improved Curse of Agony with Malediction and Siphon Life for solo farming/PvP, and Nightfall procs for instant cast Shadow Bolts. Your Demons are a lot better, but if they ever die then you lose a lot of your benefits which is a massive DPS loss which make the spec much riskier to play with a lot more micromanagement of your Demons, more complicated than spamming Shadow Bolt.

I call it an epic success, I love the class changes. long time turtle player since 2019 and i have NEVER had this much fun on vanilla wow ever!! this is like wow in 2006 but better in every way, with an active community, healthy economy, and receptive developers. I am not just glazing, I really mean what I say. Thank you again Turtle WoW team for being awesome and doing great PVE balancing and responding to community members. I know you prefer PVP based balancing but PVP has never been popular on Turtle Wow in any bracket. Even when we had 15000 population, we had a max of 2 AVs running with maybe two wsgs/two ABs, and that was on a saturday. Many people opt out of warmode too and at-level world pvp revolves more around preparation/gear/buff/level/consumes than class abilities for the most part I really have enjoyed levelling shaman tank, balance druid, survival hunter, demonology warlock, etc. I just wish every class had impactful talents for the first 5 levels, some classes get spell hit or a form of clearcasting quite early on, but other classes are stuck with 2-10% mana reduction or 1-5% damage buff which doesnt feel impactful at first, but thats my only minor gripe. I also wish holy shock would make a return in some limited capacity, as it's sad that spelladins lost identity. Other than that, I am very satisfied and pleased with the changes, and theres another round of rebalancing happening this week! One other small gripe I have is apparently the itemization and class changes departments don't have the best communication, resulting in unintended consequences that have to be fixed after the fact. Luckily, Turtle WoW is actually fixing any problems and addressing the community which is very unlike Blizzard. Thanks for the breakdown! We need more TWoW content on RUclips

Really good insight. I've seen so many youtuber tier lists that are just simply made by people who havent pvp'd alot, but you really know your shit. I had a r14 hunter during the first classic launch with 130k HK's during the expansion and i agree with almost everything you said. Great guide. I'd say that Hunter vs Druid duel, you just trap and insta fear the druid. if he exits bearform to avoid fear, he is dead. if he doesnt exit, you can sit down and eat+drink and re-open when the fear is about to end. you can out last his mana pool but it takes a while against the giga pvp geared ones, but they are VERY rare. and he cannot really escape easily if you get the upper hand and play more agressively within the scatter shot ranges, since a scatter shot during travel form is a death sentence for him. in world pvp hunters win against everything if you get the jump. because you can stay in cheetah and out range shadowpriest/warlock dots and just viper sting/autoshot. Troll shadowpriest is the only tricky one imo, or a soul link warlock with immense HP gear and degererate off-pieces from raids. I think night elf hunter is the king of engaging in world pvp because of this. Especially if you have engineering with access to shadow reflector, and just have it equipped because anything else than lock/sp is a win regardless of dropping a trinket.

shaman has frost shock, G. Wolf, Earth bind to kite melee in Bg. Purge shields from casters or seals from paladins. Counterspell totem and fake cast healing spells. It really depends on the skill level, and if you play Tauren you get a stun. I like shaman

My biggest disappointment with the new druid talents was the talent in the resto tree that increases dot damage by a percentage. I immediately thought this would be so cool to have a dot druid, kind of like a lock. You pop insect swarm, moonfire, cat form, rake, shred, and watch those dots go. The talent doesn't effect bleeds. Like why? Why not? What is the rational behind this?

Dependence on Manual Crowd Pummelers made me avoid this class like the plague Classic. I am excited to see what has become of druids without a reliance on that item. Even if its overall worse I think its an improvement. But its not worse.. not at all.

When warlock?

All "killing blow" talents function at max level. You do not have to actually gain exp to benefit from them and the wording is only meant to exclude trivial enemies, which would lead to heavy abuse. Imagine being able to get a benefit like that from killing a level 1 critter. So they made it require the kill be close to your level (think green numbered level). Looks like the pronunciation of Aesina is Eye Xena (Zee Nah). It's latin as she was a roman god iirc.

Not sure why you are talking about PvP so much against mage of all classses, literally S tier in PvP and PvE. That’s how it is, it’ll always be that way. You can try to find an explanation why mage is so good, and I’ll tell you why: they have very few abilities/talents that are useless, unlike 99% of other spec and classes. Just how it is!

for me is spriests and locks and hunters mostly because they don't need to drop PVE talents to get PVP talents to be OP rogues + druids for stealth and high burst...

Turtle wow leaning into raid only design is worrying for me, dont turn turtle wow into retail. Turtle wow is about leveling in new zones and dungeons, and roleplaying not raid logging naxxramas mythic + dungeons

Hunters are already gods in pvp, giving a armor pen sting would be insane. Trap, armor pen, one shot with aimed shot and multishot, repeat

Class changes on Season of Discovery are great. Just took them until BWL patch to get most classes right. I would consider Turtle if it didn’t require playing on the worst client in this game’s history. Ruins the enjoyment for me after playing Classic.

To be honest I don't have any problems with the changes as they are now after the feedback. I'm sure we will see further tweaks though. I love turtle WoW, been on here since 2019. It has changed SO much. But it has been sustainable and has had a steady rise. I love it.

Iliidan and arthas are pillars of wow with so much players who love them , if blizzard wish to success they need to bold both of these two
