i LOVE pvp, been pvping in this game since 04, i think they should change the health value on a point of stamina from 10 to 100, start there. make raid mobs / bosses do more damage if needed, but we gotta get the old wow time to kill back. should at LEAST be 5-10 seconds otherwise you cant even live through a rogues basic stunlock CS->KS 10 seconds of stun.
They did ruin PvP. They brought too much retail into classic. All the small quirks of classic like engineering, random niche trinkets, they dont matter nearly as much because you just do so much dmg. Instant nukes are commonplace now, where before it was a 3m major talent to do such a thing. Never understood why they dont balanced the game around PvP damage, then just design bosses around this output.
Instant nukes were always a thing in vanilla pvp, what are you on about. Pvp was massively unbalanced back in the day. No argument from me that it would be better now, but people are making vanilla out to be something that it clearly was not.
I play a warrior and I really only play the game for pvp and I have canceled my sub. Its just not even feasable to try and play a warrior in pvp with the state of the game now. Aggrend said on a podcast that I watched "noone wants retail minus" and I believe that is exactly what they have turned SOD into. Noone I know asked for these wrath abilities to be in classic. We just wanted classic with a few minor changes to balance classes and more endgame content.
I agree, sod is fun enough for me because my shaman is quite tanky but the feel of vanilla is gone and I would have honestly perfered fresh classic to this. The game feels like a gimmick of it's former self. If anything classes across the board should have been nerfed because of how good players are these days. These buffs are so over the top, like why???
i dont see any problem tbh. Good paladins will stun and 3 tap u even with 2k HP. Rogues can stun lock to all hell. Boomkins were doing 2 taps, SP one taps. ofc pre nerf but still can do insane dmg. if anything shamans need these kinda W's.
Sod pvp is DOA unless you raid mc,ony,zg,bwl and world bosses twice a week. Your rank 10 pvp gear won't mean shit and pvp will be dead o e week after the first raid😂
I mean, it's Blizzard. They want to cater to their retail audience (dads with four wives, fourteen children and five jobs), so they make everyone OP. When there's "downtime" in retail, they come over to check out Classic. SoD doesn't really appeal to Vanilla fans, and it's more like a budget Retail than Vanilla+.

Because people are dumb and would complain about having lower damage even if bosses were scaled down

We are playing lvl 25/40 characters that have abilities from wotlk/pandaria expansions and buffed gear. What do you expect?
