      Thanks, man! You helped me out a lot. I pulled the Trinity tuner (4 Sale) out of my son's truck and set myself up with HP Tuners, and I'm just getting my feet wet. With this tune, the truck starts right up cold or hot with no throttle input (on the Trinity tune, it needed throttle input when warm and wouldn't remote start when warm because of that). I plan to nerd out and study a bit more and try to get a little MPG increase in the cruise state and maybe a bit more performance in some other areas. 2008 Silverado 5.3 DOD Delete with a Truck Norris Cam.

    Could you do a video on the VCM suite and how to basically use it? How to set up channels and use them to dial in a tune. I feel this is very important for people wanting to start off and I know you mention a few things here and there in videos but there’s not how to based on this and feel it would help others as much help your channel. I been playing with tunes for about 6 years now and there’s still things I can’t seem to get right on the VCM side in order to dial In certain areas of a tune. Thanks in advance!

    26:43 it pushed 18mpa on the rail and inj ms was in the 5s (like you would expect from changes made), but then at 40:48 rail was back peaking at 15mpa and inj was over 6ms again. Why??

    Matt, I'm running a Holley return style regulator not using vacuum refrence on the outlet/pass side of my fuel rail. Basically goes into holley fuel rail on DS, crosses over, then to the regulator and to the return line. Truck was originally return system. Do I need to scale my injectors like a dead headed system or flat line them? Thanks

    I have a question about adjusting the VVT tables when using a 4deg limiter. This is on a L83 with a Whipple supercharger and a stage 1 btr cam. I'm curious about doing it two different ways and what the pros and cons are. Way number one would be to zero out all of the tables and simply put in the cam card single line values (like you show). Which are basically just values that are above 5000 RPMs. Roughly one degree for every 200 RPMs above 5000 RPMs maxing out at 4deg@ 6,000 RPMs. And everything below 5,000 RPMs would be zeroed out (like you show) The other way would be to use the OEM table and simply change any value above 4deg to 4deg and keep all of the other 1, 2, 3, and 4deg inputted values as they are. This would be in an effort to somewhat keep/take advantage of the low volume island of efficiency in the OEM tables. Thoughts? Thanks

    Glad for this video I was having issues with VVE changing the table and getting it smoothed back out. Finally got it somewhat figured out and was able to make the changes and watch the datalog show my changes made the difference. Thanks and look forward to more. Maybe a video on adjusting the VE dialing in cranking VE as mine is still set at 75 across the board?

    So Matt I have been following your videos to get my 2010 Silverado 5.3 Truck Norris cam tuned as the tuner I thought I had wasn't working out. Anyway so far my truck is running much better than the said tuner's files. But I am still getting a traction light at idle when off throttle under 1000rpm. I have raised misfire tables even a little higher than this video and still can't seem to remedy that issue. Any thoughts?

    I've never done a tuning before. I have been looking at the MPVI3, which is roughly $800. So I have to by the tuner, and then buy credits at $50 a credit? That seems excessive to me. Like I said, I've never done this before. Is this how tuning normally is? Do you have to buy credits for each vehicle? Is for each individual module for each vehicle? I really need to take some RUclips classes on tuning.🥺

    I had trouble with my fitech on my 02 extended cab and tbss intake it ended up being the fact that there were two bolt holes for the tps sensor. The WOT voltage was 3.74v. It idles fine without pedaling the throttle goes in gear without dying now and now there’s no hesitation when WOT down shifting. It had a horrible hesitation down low as well.

    Rear break inline valve also helps 👍There is to much than can go wrong this way, ie forget to change the tune back then proceed to floor it getting on the interstate going 25 mph.

    Hey Matt, I’m running a cam in my ls4 car I’m curios if I need to scale my new injectors being 52lb fic injectors on the e67ecu and my second question is do I use the same process on the earlier ecu if I ran the big injectors on an e40ecu? I have two cars hence two computers

    I agree, a 212 intake duration is mild af for a 6.2... I imagine it would be torquey and a really good daily driver setup for sure! Keep it up, the videos are great
