I’m a local and the best tip is if your coming back from pirates and your boats getting beat up by the wakes don’t stop keep going then find the cove and go into it if you stop you will lose momentum and it will just be horrible

Um monsoon season doesn't kick off until late June for AZ just FYI been through a lot of those with our Hallett out there always turned out fine, plus in Lake Powell those are the best especially when you find a cove with lots of waterfalls from the run off.

Actually a bit north is the local spot...grande can get crowded from gringorindo

Main St. and the channel are the places to hang out at desert storm. and a bicycle is the easiest way to get around. or a boat.😊

I live there and find little relaxing places to go on week days, and on weekends I'm grounded most of the time and hang out at the channel with the crazies.

There are a lot of playa grandes and playa negras in costa rica

There is nothing top secret about these spots. Locals don’t truck through the hidden mud filled reeds cause that’s how you get leeches on your feet and legs. We know better….and the cave is nothing more than a clived rock you can canoe through…..

Fishing regulations are ridiculous. A kid can go buy a skateboard for 60 bucks and start skateboarding. Fishing should be the same exact way. Imagine how many kids don’t fish because of this. It’s a criminal system, they are charging money for something they didn’t produce. I could actually see the point of fishing license fees in a stocked lake. And we haven’t even gotten to the purposefully confusing regulations.
