What else would you suggest for families with young kids when visiting Havasu?

The bridge water channel, on the island has a park with lots of shade and a playground. Specifically a blocked off swim section with no boats or traffic. Easy parking, bathrooms, sidewalks lead down to sandy beaches. It’s a great spot of everyone.
