Towards the end of the day the tide was going out it was starting to get heavy and close out. Best is incoming high tide, off shore winds are dominant in Costa Rica. The Shape was awesome 100% recommend must go
that was a small set of waves, go back when the waves are breaking closer to the Rock and 14ft. The birds flying around are Frigates I think is the name, once while surfing WR I saw a large fish chasing a flying fish, both jumping in and out of the water while a Frigate bird would dive bomb the large fish, when like a snapping of one's finger something larger hit both with seconds and the Frigate was freaked out screaming while rocketing out of reach of whatever it was there was several surfer watching too. We just kept surfing. then sailed to OP.

Witches rock has the shape of a lion's head and it produces a peculiar sound when the water breaks.
Our local guide pointed out a face on the rock. Super cool experience!
