Agreed, but I really don't want to see 10 more stats added to the advanced stats as there's already a ton. Some of these stats can just be consistent throughout the guns to make it more simple.
It’s not hard to understand first shot recoil obviously means it’s best for semi automatic guns and the kick reset means it’s going to be best used with a burst weapon or used while shooting in bursts. It never says anything about adding recoil control other than the very first shot. So it’s very simply explained you people just make it difficult because no common sense probably
Yeah. I don’t really see a huge value in this tbh. I wouldn’t say it’s OP, but it does seem that the dev team made a specific muzzle attachment suited for each classification of weapon. A kind of “pseudo variety” if you would.
I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as an overworked CoD developer. Everything we've seen about them and heard from their employees they have a pretty easy cushy job.
Interesting attachment. It would also work for players that stop shooting to realign their shots or like to pre-emptively pop a few rounds until they can get a proper line of sight. In the latter, it could be down a walkway where there is a probable encounter or when your target gets behind cover. Basically, anytime you stop shooting, you can rely on those more predictive few shots in the bullet pattern to land an elimination. Gives me a feel of classic FPS when that was more often the case.
Just tried around on the AMES 85 with compensator and muzzle brake. Using no foregrip and a 1x scope, burst firing on the farthest distance dummy is much more consistent using the brake. Really highly depends on the weapons individual pattern. The AMES violently sways to the left and up for "phase 2"
@@xDiViNexInfectedx Depends on the gun I guess. The AMES has a great "phase 1" pattern, you can do like 5-10 shot bursts with great accuracy on long distances. Find it much less consistent with the compensator. Something like the AK74, there's no way I'd use the brake, as the recoil is absurd imho.
Not to sound high and mighty but the description for this made perfect sense to me as someone who plays cs/val. The issue is in CoD it’s not very practical. Like you said, it’s definitely better on burst guns. The only specific situation I can think of where it’d be useful is prefiring angles where you know someone is gonna peek you but you’re tap/burst firing into a full spray when they fully swing. Otherwise it would only be good for long range gun fights if you actually take the time to burst fire but this game doesn’t have any long range maps or long range angles worth challenging.
Yeah the names for attachments Are confusing. I felt so dumb for saying the “vertical recoil grip is dumb because it helps with horizontal recoil.” Then I realized that vertical meant the way it was mounted on the gun 😂😂.
7:51 oh heyyyy guys dont mind me (shot to pieces)😂😂 This makes alota sense now. I noticed on some guns it was really good. The description got me though. I usually run suppressor but sometimes i run good ole "come get some" builds.😂😂😂
The mussel brake is really good on the semi auto guns like the SVD since there’s a large delay between shots I found making repeated shots easier especially two shots
I think for most people this information is particularly relevant for the burst fire Metas like the SWAT and AEK. I was obviously aware of horizontal and varied recoil patterns but had no idea Treyarch actually programmed recoil into separate stages. Are there stages of recoil for the AEK? Is the bullet spread tighter on the first 3 round burst of a magazine? The AEK is the five-attachment burst fire meta, while the SWAT is the 8-attachment meta IMHO.
This is the vudeo i was looking for. I found this out on another channel and been using the muzzle break on every gun. Im not ever running a silencer this year, because they're not good in this game and only hide muzzle flash and hide u on the mini map when firing. Unekss they release a new silence that does more things like the one in mw3. Muzzle break is the best muzzle.
Treyarch were like: "this one we actually didn't mess up on! We have to correct him." Meanwhile me trying to change attachments on a blueprint gun.....
Can we just get a freaking recoil control suppressor, who shoots 5 bullets and stops, I feel like some dev got his bonus pushing some silly mechanic that almost no one will use. No one is warzone fires short bursts, you run big mags and shoot through almost all the bullets. Great breakdown Ace its another attachment that 5% of the player base might use, I am thinking HC players will use it and that's about it.
I thought this is what we all thought it was🤨past games with aggressive late recoil patterns would benefit from burst firing the weapon keeping you in the more effective parts of the pattern. This muzzle would allow you to re engage faster.
I think this attachment is far more practical with guns that very predictable initial recoil. The Saug is a great example as it's a laser for the first 13-ish shots and then goes nuts. That isn't an issue if you shoot 13 round bursts, which you should need 2 of at most anyway.
I think that this attachment could use a smal buff. Like give it al the benefits it already has and a improvement to vertical recoil control as wel. But not as mutch as the compensator and ported compensator does.
As a HC player where you never need 3 bullets or more to kill (in theory), this may be the best thing ever. How's it do with the m4 and burst fire mod? (Edit) so I went back and watched the 3rb m4 and you mentioned this video in that video. Sorry I forgot. I'll just sit here quietly and try to listen gooder.
I see all these wild zig-zaggy recoil patterns (which is how my guns feel when I shoot them) and then I watch a killcam and the enemy's reticle doesn't move at all. Does that mean they're perfectly countering that recoil pattern with their aim? Or is there something else in play?
I would love a video covering rapid fire and how much it'll spend up the time to kill and if it's achually worth using, cus I have it on alot of my classes and idk if I should.
So it’s good if u don’t know how to pull the thumb stick/mouse down while shooting and u rely on short bursts of fire? Ig for lower skill ppl it could be beneficial in that way but still why not just run the compensator that’s always helping
Hey Ace, Do you know what is going with the bullet stun effect you sometimes experience in game? It feels almost like the frangible rounds of the past but I don't know what causes it.
Ace, the advanced weapon stats actually show the kick reset speed for each weapon and like all other attachments, when you attach the muzzle brake, you can see the difference. Currently as of this writing, you have to open the advanced stats before going into an attachment category. If you want to read the attachment description, you have to go out to the weapon overlook and then take it off before going into the attachment category again.
Some games had faster reset speeds. I know Vanguard would reset the pattern entirely as soon as you released, so if you fired a gun in semi auto, it would always have the first shot recoil
I started using it on the ak47 shortly before this video. Maybe it's psychological but I think it really helps on that gun specifically. I put rapid fire on with the muzzle break and I would say it makes a huge difference up to 10 shot bursts, wich I think is reasonable
How much of a boost does enforcer give your movement speed in percentage terms and how much faster does you health regen start or is it a boost to the time it takes to get back to full health after it starts
I recognized this yesterday when testing a krig weapon build in the shooting range. Not the muzzle but the fact that the recoil sometimes starts in a way which usually appears later during firing
Why the hell does it look like a flash hider? On all the guns in this video it either looks like a birdcage or 3-prong/4-prong muzzle device, not a brake. Completely unrelated to gameplay, yes, but annoying as hell.

@@Luckingsworthi think at mid-higher levels, the players can control recoil well enough to just full auto against headglitches, and wouldn’t have enough time to release without dying. At lower levels, those players would greatly benefit from the lower vertical magnitude the compensator gives. Against a small target such as a headglitch or player really far away, your bullets will be spread apart enough that you’d only hit a few while burst firing. You would hit more of those initial shots with one of the compensators
Honestly i think the muzzle brake shouldnt exist and the recoil pattern should reset as it does with it. Too many people would rather just use a compensator and go full auto and it would work just fine for them.
It’s absolutely absurd that the attachments don’t actually do what they say they do. Just don’t make attachments period. People don’t have time to conduct all these tests to see how they work like. People just want to get on a play, period.
I know it would have taken much more effort, but it would be nice to know which classes of weapons benefit most from Muzzle Brake's reset speed. Based on what you uncovered, I agree that it seems like Warzone is likely where this matters most. Towards tha use case, I play Warzone so I'd be curious what "class" of weapons generally have naturally fast enough recoil pattern speeds such that you wouldn't need the muzzle brake and which could really use it. Most likely, LMGs is where this matters the most because I noticed that far more LMGs in BO6 Warzome compared to MWIII Warzone seem highly inaccurate when full auto at medium to long-ish ranges. Basically, you can only hope to "pepper" your opponent unless you've built your gun very well.
Why'd they have to make this shit so confusing 😭 just bring back easy to understand attachments. I don't want to have to do years of research to find the optimal class set up for each gun 🤦♂️
