The Explosive Thin Man firing perfect straight punches is a sight to behold! Alexis Arguello's technique was second to none as he absolutely dominated his era winning world titles in 3 different weight classes. In addition to having excellent technique, Arguello is one of the hardest punchers in boxing history as 62 of his 77 wins came by way of KO. This highlight is focusing specifically on his left hand as he used it to perfectly set up his booming right. Truly one of the very best P4P of all time. www.patreon.com/haNZAgod * Also just as a side note I'll be starting up a new series next Saturday counting down my favorite boxers of all time starting from Flyweight and moving all the way up to Heavyweight. Each video will be 10+ minutes long and release every 3-4 weeks on Saturdays. Hope you all tune in and enjoy if it's something that interests you!
Watching Arguello is like listening to Mozart. The ring-generalship, the timing, the technique... you could take a picture of Arguello throwing any punch in the arsenal and put it in a textbook explaining the proper way to throw said punch. Bravo, maestro. Bravo.
My favorite fighter of all time. It wasn't his boxing that l liked the most about him. It was his character outside the ring that loved about him. He had compassion for his opponents after he beat them. Even in defeat he was pure class. A gentleman. He was a great person in and out of the ring.
He made no unnecessary moves. Virtually every move was to set up another punch. He maneuvered the opponent into the position he wanted. Them BOOM! He was similar to Ray Robinson and Kid Gavilan in that way. Always thinking ahead. He was a great fighter in a difficult era.
His resume is one of the best ever. Arguello beat former champions, current champions and future champions. Not only he captured different weight classes world titles, he DOMINATED those weights and then moved into the next one!
The Ring magazine has ranked Argüello as 20th on their list of "100 greatest punchers of all time", while the Associated Press ranked him as the world's best Junior Lightweight of the 20th century.[1] He was named one of the 20 greatest fighters of the past 80 years by The Ring magazine and is widely regarded as one of the greatest boxers to ever come out of Latin America and one of the few to have fought in four different decades. Never loss his Championship bells.

Hello Hanzagod, I have a video request. Could you do a defensive highlight of Montell Griffin’s cross arm defense taught to him by Eddie Futch. Thanks
You are making amazing videos about sweet science! Thank you very much for you work, Hanza!
Omg, so thrilled to follow this new series
This video is fire!!! Love the soundtrack. 🎉 Will definitely watch future videos.
It's a great shame that Arguello isn't lauded or spoken about these days; one of the finest champions in the history the sport.

Arguello truly had a great left jab and left hook. Keep it up.
Arguello was pure class!
May he rest in peace. Wonderful fighter and by all accounts a wonderful man as well.

Hell of a fighter and one of my all time favorites! Shame that Duran vs Arguello never happened.
Sanchez wanted to fight Arguello too, what a fight that wouldve been

His poleax right hand deserves its own video.
His resume is loaded. Arguello laid waste to the Ferocious Four and has wins over Olivares, Mancini and Kobayashi to go with two wins over Escalera.
Oh!! Man I must've watched that Arguello Vs Olivares cassette so many times after that I was on the lookout for more films of his.
Great music fitting

El Flaco Explosivo
Kind of reminds me of Canelo the way he throws his hooks feinting downstairs
He was just beautiful to watch. That’s all I can say.
