I don't ever use cheats that will mess up trophies cuz I like trophies lol. But the sims is made to use cheats. Just luckily not all of them disable trophies.

It's either things that are conflicting with other traits or they might be named differently. Even adding a space at the end by accident can make it not work.

I only discovered it testing on my own. I know there's a couple build mode cheats and some others to do with your character. I'm sure there's more out there. Basically just test it without having testingcheats true first.
@@skybrian3354 it only works for traits. You can't get points or anything without disabling trophies. I do have guides for most the harder trophies. I didn't use actual cheats that are more helpful until after I finished trophies. Cuz there's a ton.

Nothing takes away trophies unless you physically choose the option to which is typing testingcheats true. So just don't ever type that and just do the trait you want.
It always works. But some traits won't work or some counteract each other so they won't work either. It depends what you're trying to add. And also spelling and capitalization or spaces can matter too.

@@maliksims4215 oh. The fertile trait works pretty good. I used it trying to get triplets. It was mostly twins and never was just one and eventually had triplets.
@@catiethegreengal1417 something's not right or isn't a trait or something. What did you type? Because this works for everyone. It's part of the game. Just doesn't work with 100% of the cheats because most things disable trophies. But not the traits.

Definitely do not type testing cheats true in because you'll disable trophies for that whole save.
You can add or remove traits without typing in the testingcheats true. Just need the console window up.

Maybe don't watch TV. I think that might bring up social some on certain channels. I had my sim just sit in a room for 24 hours.

The only way you can is by using cheats which will disable trophies.

Make a new save
Didn't see your comment. But yeah. You need a new game with a new save. You can't use the world you were on at all.

@@lucas_503 nothing is deleted unless you delete the save file. You just can't use the save game you used cheats on if you want trophies again.

You can't lose your trophies unless you choose to. And yes cheats will always work on sims 4 since it's part of the game.

It might be labeled a different name or it conflicts with another trait you may have.

Does this still apply to the latest update?
It works on any update. Sims games have always had cheats in the game in some form. Not every cheat needs the actual cheats to be enabled first.

Can get skills faster which is a trait. But you can't get instant skills.

Did not work and I did it the right way
It always works. Probably just typing wrong or not using an actual trait. Spaces and sometimes capitalization will matter.
