Day 40 of EPIC | 30 Min BURNNNNNN HIIT WORKOUT with Dumbbells [NO JUMPING]

- Are you ready for EPIC HIIT. Let’s go! Grab those dumbbells for an intense full body burn! Every muscle will be on fire in this full body dumbbell high intensity session!
All you will need for this HIIT workout is a pair of dumbbells, a mat and a wall for a couple of wall sits! The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 6kg each!
The timer will be on continuously for 30 seconds of work, 15 seconds rest. We will perform each exercise twice!
There is a staple exercise performed once every 5th set... the squat to press! Try to use the drive from the legs and hips to drive those dumbbells overhead! Always look straight ahead and land without jolting.

Some of the exercises can be performed at a faster pace whilst others require a slightly slower pace so go at a pace to suit you and the weights you have!
Every muscle, every muscle group, power, strength, co-ordination, balance and stamina are all tested, worked and strengthened in this 30 minute workout!

I don't know what's wrong with me today but I had to take so many breaks, it was ridiculous. I finished nevertheless so I can still be proud of that. But MAN it was a struggle. Caroline killing it again!!
There's nothing wrong with having a rough workout. It happens to the best of us. You toughed it out and that's a win in my books.
I'm glad I'm not the only one... first time I've had to literally press the "pause" button mid-workout. I was so winded I was paranoid it was an early COVID symptom - oh jeez!

This was quick but TOUGH! I think I am tired from this week so this was a struggle mentally and physically. Towards the end I gave myself a 20 sec rest and that helped. I was over the squat presses LOL!!! Thank you for pushing us and making us better and stronger!! You are ALL EPIC!!!

I love every workout with Caroline, but I especially loved this one! I could never thank her enough for literally making me feel EPIC! So close, yet Epic II is already calling my name. I just can't get enough of her workouts. Even on my active rest days, I find myself doing her 5-20 minute workouts and strength/stretching videos. Hands down the best and I just found her 3 months ago. I've been doing RUclips home workouts for years and I just can't see myself doing any other workout, but working out with Caroline

Hi Caroline...just finished...brilliant as always! It’s a really intense upper and lower body workout as well as being great HIIT! The rounds focussing on biceps and triceps are particularly tough! Then I did your 15 min abs at the end...that is a brilliant, tough workout...shirt but intense! The most sensible person in that abs workout is Winston who runs off when the exercises are getting tough and just comes back for the stretch!! Have a lovely Sunday with your family, Caroline! What a rush!! I had planned to just spend the day on the couch watching movies and eating Diwali sweets....but my husband made me do it!!! He asked me to get my sports bra on and to go workout with you. And I am so glad he did . Turned my whine into a WIN (cheesy yet true). I love him and I love you CG!
I previewed this entire workout and thought “it doesn’t look so bad!”. Seriously even thought maybe “easy”. Yeah, no. I was huffing and puffing the whole time. 😂 Crazy how hard 15sec only of rest makes. I so appreciate the thought and planning that goes into these workouts and also appreciate I don’t need to jump or have high impact for results. I’m still not using weights as heavy as Caroline (used 10lbs today) but I’m hoping by the end of this program I can or at the start of Epic 2! 💪🏻
I've been wanting to do this workout forever. Loved it!!🤩 Completely exhausted by the end. Dumbbell HIIT is always a favorite of mine!❤ My favorites were the staggered RDL to lunge, lunges with bicep curl hold, RDL to high pull, lat sweep to tricep ext and tricep pushup to side plank! The staple was superb and oh so tiring. Yet another great start to my Sunday! Thanks Caroline!😁

I keep coming back to this workout as it is soooo good! Caroline has so many too choose from I never get bored. I've been doing EPIC workouts now for about 2 1/2 months and can see my body changing... not an easy feat for a "middle-aged" woman!
I realize how much my mindset has shifted since I began your program Caroline! I used to do an hour or so of random workout videos of 10-25 minutes and tried to balance upper, lower, and full body, but I never had the ease of a proper program. Now I see your 36 minute workout and it feels short! I felt worn out today and yet this was an enjoyable challenge.

Love your videos. I'm in my 50's and usually get up at 5 am and do two of your workouts before work... Usually a HIIT no weights to start and then a intense weight routine. Love this one!!. Your workouts are truly intense and I love doing them before the rest of my day starts. Thank you Caroline!

For sure lol, I've been especially sore this week, the workouts just keep getting harder and definitely more epic! Tomorrow's session looks tough, hope I can recover before then. Can't believe there's only 2 weeks left 😲
This week was especially challenging, yes. Upping the difficulty helps build in progressive overload which is how we get those sweet sweet muscles! But yeah it was definitely a lot.

Today I woke up soooo lazy! I've been stuck at home for almost a week now; my younger kid caught the virus and we were put into quarantine, so I've been cleaning up the house from top to bottom and I was really feeling exausted... But then I decided to workout for a bit, as it was HIIT day for me... And I'm sooo glad I did it! This was a burner, but one of my favorite workouts of the program! I work up sore and lethargic and it took quite a while to get ready (my mind more than my body 😊) to tackle this workout. I just like the feeling of getting stronger everyday! Once you got started day 1, it’s difficult not to stick with the training with Caroline when she posted. It’s like having a coach telling you it’s time to move your beautiful ass lol
From feeling fatigued by 15-20 mins of the video to gradually 30mins/45mins and now 1hr on every Friday! Thank you Caroline for pushing us to exceed our “limit” and set the bar higher every time and it’s actually possible to become a better me.
Looking back at day1 compared to this day, i feel confident, i see myself getting better physique, higher stamina, some slight but happy changes to my body shape, etc! Love Caroline love endorphin!

Caroline I was never a fitness freak my whole life but since the lockdown started, I decided to get leaner and later learnt that it's more important to b fitter than getting leaner. I'm loving this journey. Ur Epic program is Epic in all senses. I'm quite naive compared to a lot of your subscribers. Yet I try your workouts because I want to push myself and want improvement. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do so. U r extremely intense and powerful so I need to modify certain moves especially during your HIIT sessions to suit myself.....a little bit only. I managed to complete this one in just 34 minutes (with 4 kg dumbbells each and keeping up with Caroline's pace) !!! this is really a huge record for me as HIITs usually take me much longer ! After 3 weeks of ur workouts, I CAN FINALLY DO FULL PUSH UPS WITH perfect form! Been workibg out for 13 yrs n decided to switch thgs up by instead doing ytube workouts ~ 3 weeks of doing ur various workouts from IRON, EPIC, etc, noticeable difference in overall body strength, especially arms 💃 appreiciate u alote Caroline! Thanks for this!

I was curious as to why Caroline looks up while she squats press and then tried it myself and it made a whole difference. I was really struggling to squat because my knees and posture felt awkward staring at ahead while squatting. Look up fixed the posture and helped me focus on driving my legs!! definitely recommend for anyone who was struggling like me and didnt know there was an easy fix by looking up ahead
Im here for EPIC II day 11! Taking the alternative today as I can't jump in my room without waking everyone in the house up :P Here we go!

Just amazing. I've just completed this HIIT workout and is was a nice challenge. My 8lbs dumbbell were enough for me today 👍. Yesterday I enjoyed a 5.50 km run and a 8.30 km walk with a friend. I feel energized and strong. I will savour those next 2 weeks 🙂. Great Sunday everyone 👋🏻.

I was scsred because it is day 40! But I did it! And enjoyed! Some days are more difficult to finish but other days are very good! Just try to enjoy every training... And next day, more and better! Thank you Caroline.

I noticed that when I work out hard and my face goes red, my skin is like glowing the next day. Another reason to push hard! That was super taxing from a cardio standpoint. Thank you! 10 workouts left!

Thanks for your top trainings videos. Now i follow u almost 4 weeks and the muscles are growing step by step. I was 20 years ago a bodybuilder the last view years i do bicylce races. And now i will work on my power in the muscles and so i find your clips. I am very motivated keep on Caroline.

Day 40 This HIIT is one of those really deceptive workouts that looks like a nice gentle start to a Sunday morning. Not the case Im afraid using 7.5kg it literally torches your muscles to pieces. Heart rate is up, burn kicks in, and last 15 min are a real push. The time flies but I know I am going to be sore later. Great way to start Sunday 👍. See eveyone tomorrow 😀
Hi Anthony...yes I did it with 6 kg...and some parts were very hard! Deceptively so as you say...there were rounds with triceps and biceps that I thought were tough! Have a great Sunday...it has been sunny here this morning after rain all day yesterday so just been for a walk. Very nice but very muddy! See you for week 9 tomorrow! Matthew

Thank God, this felt lighter than the previous HIIT workouts , and I enjoyed it! ☺️ Of course there were moments when I couldn't wait for it to end, but that still doesn't mean it wasn't great!
The fact, that it rains, also helped me a lot, I simply love this weather ☺️🌧️💧
I did this whole workout with 6lbs. I started this program only being able to lift 5lbs and now i'm up to 12lbs. The 6lbs felt light and I was like holy hell im way stronger. My body has changed dramatically. I eat intuitively. No calorie restriction/counting, no weighing food, no deprivation. Just lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, protein, and lots of snacks. I eat out occasionally and listen to my body in terms of workouts and fuel. Beating years of disordered ass eating with caroline!

Once you started it goes so quickly regardless if 15 minutes or just over an hour session. I don't usually look at the list (not sure how on TV) before doing the excercises. But occasionally when I post review I am amazed what I have managed to accomplished and gobsmacked Cx put so much attention into the programme. Please enjoy , we are really lucky to be part of this EPIC 🎁 experience.
@@hhl_travel6008 My setup is something like having 2 windows of the videos open side by side. I like having an idea what the next 5 exercises will be for pacing purposes, I think. But I will have to do this one before work tomorrow since I just re-did the 30 min Burpee Epic Workout cause I kinda needed that jumping burn today. I'm so excited~
