In this video we're doing a spin tricks snowboarding session at Keystone. We're working on progressing with our spins on jumps, boxes and rails. We're going to start with 180's and progress onto 360's and go from there. There are many different ways to spins and techniques, so we'll give you tips along the way so you can progress yourself. If you have any question about snowboard spins or tricks please leave them in the comments. Had a great time snowboarding at Keystone in there Area 51 terrain park. Thanks for watching! Спорт
I appreciate the time you guys put into explaining and editing. It helps me to see examples of good riders thinking about Approach, Takeoff, Maneuver, Landing. Only way to improve this is maybe some slow-motion (and a hair less volume on the music). Thanks for your hard work and high quality content!
TJs riding is so stylish, love it!
Witam. Wykonujecie kawał dobrej roboty. Dzięki Waszym wideo znowu odnotowuję progres. Serdecznie pozdrawiam.
That follow cam of TJ was amazing more shots like this please!!!!! Literally watched it like a bunch on times for that nose press spin
Kevin that angle filming TJ on the rails was top notch! Awesome vid again!
Awesome video guys! I love those trick progression videos.. definitely look forward to the new spin with grabs video.
So dope watching you guys shred what I’ve been shredding all year
Best learning channel 👍
Hell yeah! Nice to see you guys hitting I-70. I watch the channel a lot and I’m stoked to see Kevin out at Keystone with TJ. So cool.
Hey Kevin, LOVE your videos! I'm pretty new to snowboarding, I've only done it 3x, but I'd say I'm intermediate now and hooked on it. I can do greens and some blues, but your videos definitely help. I will stay subscribed to you because of your awesome videos great personality, and awesome friends! Awesome tricks and keep going strong!
Love ur videos👨🏼🎨
The remark about waiting for good snow conditions to try new spin tricks is so on point. I found recently that my favorite resort was hard and icy everywhere for a couple weeks straight and just thought "HELL no, I'm not trying that stuff on this frozen concrete." But then we got two inches of fresh snow and warming spring temperatures the last day open and I worked hard all day to eventually spin my first backside 360s.
I fell a lot leading up to that accomplishment on that day. Having the soft snow was HUGE in making me feel secure and bold enough. Not to mention it made it more feasible to do the set up carves without slipping around.
Great to hear you got your 3’s down!
Yeah, I was jazzed! Having all this helpful snowboard instruction on youtube has sure been a boon to my boarding, I must say.
thanks kev, im stoked to hear of you plans for friday :)
Looking nice. One tip I was once told that always helped me on spins too is always try landing flat to toe edge to make riding out easier and saving the hamstring.
Heck yea Guys! Looking good in Colorado!!
Matt Maniaci omg soooo nice
Matt Maniaci Im subscribe to u to'oo👌🏻😄
Yooo what up matt
Yooooooo Matt I’m subscribed and turned on notifications
so shhick
Great vid! Great tips! Thx
Hey Kevin - really enjoying the overhead camera angle from behind. Feels like i'm in a video game!
Aaron Huang agree was about to say same thing!
8:25 Mushroom 360 😃👌
So sick
I have been riding for 22 years now (damn im old). Anyways, I haven't been on street/ park after I broke my back ages ago, but now I just have to try em after these vids. Thanks so much for these n' keep on ripping 🔥👌
Nice vid man, keep up the good work and keep inspiring people to start snowboarding like you did with me!! 🏂🤙🏼🤘🏼
Nice session!!!
Sick sesh boys 🤛🏻
Great video and it’s awesome u guys explained it through before doing the moves. I’m from Vancouver area, are u guys using a park board for the tricks? Would you recommend practicing w/ an all-mountain board at all? And the snow is disappearing here, lucky u can still get some of that powder, keep up with the good work!!! Def inspired me wherever I’m traveling to.
You guys are beasts
Guys love the channel. I'm hooked.
How much of a forward lean do you have on your highbacks if any for Park? Do you change it depending on type of riding? Question to TJ and Kevin....
Thanks!
Awesome video keep inspiring us! You guys plan to be at Keystone tomorrow, and what about Saturday?
You are the best and I learned a
lot. But why are you holding your helmet behind the GoPro?
Kev and TJ when you hit a jump or a rail when doing spin tricks do you ollie or just jump? I'm beggining to try some and never know what to do, ollies always seem harder to do when going off a rail but more fun when hitting a jump? Any tips anyone?
Kev, where will you be riding this weekend? Still in CO? Great video! Guessing you underestimated that 3rd hit in the series. I did the same and cased it a couple weeks ago. A good lesson learned to scout jumps before hitting them :-D
Please can you review the gnu hyper kyarve snowboard?!?
TJ do you notice your left arm counter-rotates on your 3's 5:20? If you open your left side it'll be much smoother
i've got the same board as you kevin! review coming out soon???
Can you please do a video on how to spin the opposite direction of what you're normally use to?
How many days do you spend on the mountain snowboarding?
Steamboat is supposed to have a good snowfall coming this week. Might want to check it out!
5:22 looks like a video game bruh
Hell yeah killing it guys. Hey Kevin, How did you like the global warmer?!
notification squad out here
You should come out to Utah next season
Once again another great tutorial. All the videos really helped my progression. Posted a video recap of the season trying to incorporate your lessons. Search for GoPro 2K: Winter 2018 Recap.
When Kevin grabs his board while spinning he looks better and more stylish
What is that round(?) thing you're using with the GoPro during the clips on the chair lift? It shows on the goggle's reflection, but I can't quite tell what it is. Is it to block wind noise?
It’s just my helmet. Using it to block the wind.
Cool, thanks!
Brasil!
Hey Kevin how’s the altitude treating you today? Are you getting used to it at all?
Yeah, today I felt the best so far on the mountain!
Hey, Kev! For what purpose do you hold your helmet behind gopro? better sound or light?
Using it to block the wind!
works like magic!
How do you get such good videos and smooth filming?
Use a gimbal stabilizer and 60p frame rate on your camera. When you’re filming try to match speed of the rider while keeping their position in the frame as consistent as possible!
I need a 100 day or more season so bad. I am a pretty good rider but to get to your level I need to get up there more. A lot more. I got around just under 20 days this season.
I wish I could get a 20 day season 😂 I get like 10 day seasons
Any tips on how to get comfortable in switch? I learned how to tame dog and i can 360 while riding no problem biluth i cannot ride switch
All you can do for switch is to put in the practice. Awesome that you got those other tricks down!
Was he using his helmet to record on the lift
probably for better audio.
i think ill get this good, in about a decade 😂 i hope
Why does snowboard season have to end??? 💔
Where's Jonathan buckhouse?
How did you guys get permission to fly a drone? Or did ya just send it haha
Your helmet made a good sound baffle hey?
Yo TJ looks so short next to Kevin at the end but I he really isn’t I heard he’s 5’10” so Kevin must be really tall
First
Awesome video keep inspiring us! You guys plan to be at Keystone tomorrow, and what about Saturday?
