Hi Abhishek, i am really interested in devops and my manager has offered me a role in the company only in the devops team mainly working on ansible, is it a good way to get into devops, the salary will be same but i might get the devops hands on experience. PS ( i work for an Indian IT service based company)
If you are ready to settle for less, you will get 100 calls ! But if you aren't ready to settle for less, you will get no calls or less calls....
Ofcourse if your expected salary is more then yeah recruiters might not get back to you
What does less mean in this context. For some people less is less than 30% of their original salary. For few less is less than 100% of their salary. 🤔
@@AbhishekVeeramallasome recruiters just want to make money off of the candidates. Sometimes the hourly rate they propose is like an insult to your education. That’s why I prefer apply through the company portal
@AbhishekVeeramalla if learning lot of things like you mentioned still paying very less.. even simple data analyst or bussiness analyst is making 8-10 lakh with very less tools than devops..less risk than devops ...less mentally stress than devops .. then what use of doing devops 😭 shal I continue learning devops of switch my domain please suggest.....

For 3 month notice period employees what is the correct solution managers will never release you whatever discussion you do and as per the market standards there are very few opportunities who wait for 90 days reason you have explained clearly main concern the why these companies are pressurising 90 days on employees no logical reason 😊
Go for buy out options and if your hr and manager agree for early release then it will be helpful

For suppose, I know Azure perfectly and I don't know AWS, but JD says AWS is required. Then as per your suggestion If I keep AWS in resume and applied, if the interviewer asks about AWS..what shall I say ???? He may think this guy kept AWS and blah blah...but he don't know these.....right ?
Hey in such case you cannot definitely add. I was talking about terraform or kubernetes or ansible which are common DevOps technologies

Hi bro, I'm working in technical support based on hosting servers, i'm interested in learning devops and videos which you provide is more informative.... however, to have career in devops shall i start learning with python, shell scripting first and have the AWS basics or how should I go with it and where to start? Please help me how easily I can acquire knowledge in it also can you suggest any books
Preferably start off with shell scripting and then learn python....
In the current scenario, referring to DevOps playlists and following real time projects on RUclips are 1001% better than books(Books do provide theoretical knowledge, but to stay updated and gain experience, RUclips is the best & only choice)....
And lastly, transition to cloud first and then to DevOps

companies are asking 5 to 10 years experience at least 3 years relevant experience they are expecting

I was drilled in the mind that DSA is very imp and after it Web Dev and then further fields

Honestly, I feel bad that along with building our skills and concepts on new technology we have to work on to our resume so just to justify the ATS tools standard which feels more fake to me. Like many good knowledgeable candidates could be left out due to this resume complexity.

Fake experience is very bad. Don’t even go for it. Instead learn things build strong profile and try for startups
