    3. Impact of AI on DevOps
    4. Freshers in DevOps job roles
    In this video, I addressed all the above concerns to the point with simple explanation. Don't miss the video and watch it till the end.

    My final advice to people who follow and believe me.
    Don’t waste your time thinking about all these. You will only waste your time and fall behind in the learning process.
    Honestly, every stream including webdev is going through the same lines. Talk to any webdev aspirant and they will say the same thing, competition is high and jobs are less.
    So if you are really interested and passionate about DevOps and Cloud. Channelize your energy, Stay away from negativity and Follow a proper roadmap. You will definitely see the success ❤

    Hello Abhishek!
    I hope you're doing great. I'm currently working as a Manual Tester with 2 years of experience at a product-based company and am eager to transition into a DevOps Engineer role. I’m currently enrolled in a DevOps course and am looking for guidance on how to make this transition smooth and effective. Here are a few questions I have:
    - What are the essential skills and technologies I should focus on? Any specific courses or certifications you recommend?
    - How can I gain practical experience in DevOps while still working in my current role? Are there any projects or contributions to open-source initiatives that you suggest?
    - What are some key points and tips for crafting a resume that stands out for DevOps roles?
    I’m excited to hear about your personal experiences and any tips or resources you can share. Thank you.

    I follow and believe your words abhishek, but recently i have been checking job posting in naukri, one thing i noticed is openings for devops engineers are 2 - 4 in a company and applicants are in 2000-3000 numbers, same if i search for blockchain developer or any other role for that matter openings = 10 , applicants < 100 , numbers are very less. The impact of AI is going to be significant on the devops area or any other for that matter - as AI tools evolve, they provide a lot more utility to the developers, increasing their efficiency. When the efficiency increases are so much, they dont need as many developers or devops people. SO, the question is not whether AI will replace us or not, the question should have been "will there be less no. of jobs in the market now?", the answer to it is "Yes and the competition will be immensely high".
    So, yeah, your worry about not finding jobs is real and aptly placed.
    The future will remain bleak for all S/W people as long as they rely on their day to day jobs, people will have to learn to use AI to create something of their own.
    In essence, AI worries are REAL and its impact is felt with every passing day. AI tools are getting smart everyday and thats scary.

    • @ceosonicsolutions8693
      @ceosonicsolutions8693 Месяц назад

      @@AbhishekVeeramalla I did view that video , you mentioned that what you have been doing as a devops engineer today will evolve into supporting AI tools, applications or LLMs tommorow. But, the point is if the tools evolve so much, the need for devops engineers will reduce. In a not so near future, most of the devops work will be done by AI, which only will be monitored one or two humans at the top.
      The basic idea is that AI will evolve so much that humans will have to focus on innovation. Sure, there will be jobs in Devops, but most of them will need little "expertise" to get paid well and even those jobs will be limited. The idea of a cool software engineer and a devops engineer is slowly fading away.
      On the other hand, AI Research, improving the quality of content the AI models produce is growing in reputation. The future jobs will also be around decreasing the cost of training models, training small LLMs for reducing the response times and data privacy and protection around the data AI models produce. Just my 2 cents.

    • @AbhishekVeeramalla
      @AbhishekVeeramalla  Месяц назад

      @@ceosonicsolutions8693 Honestly, Its very very very early to talk about AI. AI will still have to fight its own battles of Fake AI(Imagine the amount of bad code that hackers are going to dump on the internet that will be consumed by LLMs), Security Issues and much more.
      Even if we put that a side for a while and assume AI is going to handle all that challenges soon. Still AI workloads delivery on Kubernetes or any target platform is not any easy deal. MLOps and AIOps is going to play a very big role and DevOps engineers are the ones who are obvious to transition in to that field. Just like how sysadmins transitioned into DevOps.
      My two cents, DevOps and SRE engineers(Names might change, whatever we would like to call them) are going to play a very big role in the next 10 years of IT industry.

      @@AbhishekVeeramalla You maybe right, but my understanding is that not everyone needs AI that works to perfection, most of the companies can just go by with basic features they offer, like NLP and everything else around it. Also, the innovation surrounding AI is astounding ( a lot of elite level grads are dropping out to work on their AI solution ) - this is seen as once in a lifetime opportunity, like the ones they saw when internet came along.
      I dont have anything against DevOps or MLOps engineers, I just see what they could do as something that can be automated easily. Agreed, there will be the aspect constant monitoring for changes in the application, LLM they are working on and making necessary changes, but the fact remains that they can be automated. And, the amount of human intervention required will go down with passing time.
      I really hope you are right and I am wrong, but given the rate at which AI is evolving, I am scared to think hoe our lives will transform. Overall, I agree with you message that we shouldn't stop learning, while being conservative about the jobs outlook in most areas in which salaries were pretty great.

    I am almost 37, is it a good idea to learn DevOps and switch internally? How tough it'll be to cope up with the new role as DevOps as real time exposure is different from what we learn?

    Hi Anna, First of all thank you for your structured Devops tutorial. I have started learning Devops. I have more than 6 years of experience in Testing domain (Manual+Automation) and really wanted to make transition into Devops/Cloud domain. But some people said it is almost impossible to change domain after 5-6 years of experience so please don't change domain. What's your thought on this? I'm confused now.

      I don’t think its hard to switch. If you prepare well, you can do it.
