Of course you can. Buy firearms and practice. Those three would have been killed right there in front of the door or close by. The police would've had to scrape their dead bodies off my porch and I'd sit there and talk shit the whole time and be thankful and grateful that I had firearms and knew how to use them to protect my family. A man is not a man if he can not protect his loved ones. We must do what it takes to preserve our own family. The strong survive and we become better and better over time. That's fucked up that the guy couldnt even protect himself or his family and now his kids will be traumatized for years and have to go through all kinds of pain before they can get back to normal. Killing is straight up wrong. But sometimes it is necessary to prolong our life and the lives of our loved ones that aren't able to defend themselves.

@@RUclipsExplore777 Unlikely, they would have had plenty of time to grab a rifle if they had one. The intruders didn’t get in quickly and made lots of noise making their presence known. They could’ve checked the cameras noticed they were armed and breaking in and lit up the door wounding 1-2 sending the others fleeing. An AR chambered in 5.56 with a standard 30 round mag could’ve saved their lives.

Edit: However that being said, most attackers will flee while being shot at. They are looking for victims not fights typically. I would still rather have 30 rounds over 17. Unless I have another 17 round mag with me in case I need to reload.

It’s sad that this happened. I knew Esther, personally. I went to visit her with my family a few times and we got pretty close. She was my family’s close friend. We wish we would’ve known sooner than finding out on the news. She and her partner will be remembered. Her kids were in my grandmas care for a while, now I don’t really know where they are now. The world is a very cruel place. I went back on this video to recall my memories of that day.

Lets say you have an AR 15, what difference does it make. If 3 people are shooting at you and its you shooting back, you aren't going to take them all on. It is still bringing a gun to a gun fight. Theres a reason why you can't just send in solo police officers in against 3 people just because he has an AR 15. Do you think the SWAT would send in entire squads of AR 15 armed members to combat 1 guy if they were somehow powerful enough to allow 1 person to take down 3 others?
And numbers play a big factor too pal. Life isn't a video game where the "Main character" can single handedly take down all the bad guys by himself. An AR-15 in this situation is not going to help you against 3 other armed people. If you can shoot at them, they can shoot at you. And you can only aim at one person at a time while all 3 are aiming at you.

I assume majority of people have a safe for their gun so it doesn't get stolen in case they're away, which is when most robberies take place, as you said people keep their rifles in a safe, not because they are unused, but because they're not being used at that moment.
