  • Shohei Ohtani is arguably coming off of the greatest day in baseball history. In Game 1 of the Los Angeles Angels doubleheader, Ohtani tossed a one-hit shutout. In Game 2, he hit two home runs as his team won both games. Ohtani became the first player to throw a shutout in one game of a doubleheader and hit a home run in the next. Colin Cowherd calls to retire the word 'unicorn,' as the world has found one: Shohei Ohtani. In the NFL, Joe Burrow is the latest QB to turn away from Season 2 of Netflix's 'Quarterback,' joining Dak Prescott, Justin Fields, Matthew Stafford, Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa. Colin reacts to Burrow's decision, then explains what makes Patrick Mahomes 'one-of-one.'

They’re turning down the next season. For some, I get it. Stafford is rehabbing injury, Jalen is still trying to build his legacy. Fields is trying to prove himself. The beauty of the show was that it showed the face of the league(Mahomes), a guy who’s career is basically set at what it is-puts up numbers, get you to the ball, but not the last dance in Cousins, and a guy trying to hang on to a roster spot in Mariota. It was an interesting comparison to see.

Hurts would never waste his, his family or his teams time on anything that doesn’t improve his championship chances. You think PM would’ve stayed Bama after losing starting job and then perform as he did to get them back to the finals, then go to a team that produced the last two Heisman winners, be named Captain, Heisman runner up and get OU into the dance. You can’t fake what Hurts has and should’ve won MVP, didn’t play a bad game all season, if Watkins holds onto the ball vs Commanders & refs don’t rob him in SB 57, he’s undefeated and he makes everyone on both sides of the ball and coaches better.
