I agree. He is the odd guy out here. Mahomes is one the best to ever do it already, and Cousins has been a very good QB for his career. Mariota hasn't lived up to his hype levels or draft position. But he has alot to be proud of. He has been in the league for 8 years, been a starter, gone to the playoffs, competited with the best. He has nothing to feel bad about and should take pride in his journey through college and his career in the league no doubt. Respect

It HURTS, (no pun intended, really!) to be a once upon a time, "can't miss" new prospect, at QB1, with one's own team, to reluctant backup to Carr, to getting one's hopes up, AGAIN, as a QB1, with LOTS of assurances, to having your dream, embarrassingly, publicly crashing down, AGAIN, with an injury AND a benching. He's ashamed. At least, Kirk DID have a very good winning season, with some meme moments, and PatM won another SB! He probably feels "less than", a failure, and a "what could have been" at QB. They other two CAN speak of commanding their teams and offenses, and special wins, but, Mariota, can't (really). He's getting paid, and agreed to be in ot when he got the Atlanta spot, so I'm not going to act like Mariota deserves a medal and went through war. I'm not going to be hyperbolic with the "class act" crap,-- he's promoting a Netflix doc, it's part of his contract--but he IS doing an admirable job trying to pretend that he's a ok, and cool with it all.

Why? Why were you even in that position? You believe everything ESPN and these other "professional analyst's" with their OPINIONS? Anyone with half a brain can see Kirk is a great Quarterback and has been for years. Here is an example... Most people who are Cowboy fans love Troy Aikman and say he's the greatest thing ever... Go look at his stats vs Tony Romo you'll notice Troy Aikman is worse than Romo but Aikman has multiple Superbowl's... So you know I wonder if it's truly a TEAM game but for some reason Kirk Cousins takes all the blame all the time for his team's failing...
1-2 in the playoffs as a Viking... Last year lost to the giants in the playoffs after he put up 24 points... that's not a Kirk Cousins issue..
He was stuck on bad Redskins teams.... How do people not acknowledge that.. He took one of the worst defenses ever to 13-4 with the largest comeback in NFL history.
I also love that because his teammates put a few chains around his neck that everyone started to relax on hating him and started liking him..
I'm a Viking fan and it's getting old with all the bashing of Kirk from Viking fans as well.. You want Christian Ponder? Tarvaris Jackson? Teddy Bridgewater? We can keep going with the list of truly awful Quarterbacks the Vikings have put on the field...

@@worldzealot Yes, I completely agree. "oH, bUt HiS pRiMeTiMe ReCoRd!" so they would say in response to all that. Because yes, this hate on Kirk is so excessive that it's one of those stupid trends to hate something such as on Nickelback. ...That's at least another story, but I would think the same thing as you said where people think Kirk is the worst when they're forgetting about Tim Tebow or JaMarcus Russell being real busts. This hate trend is not only stupid, but it really is also stale. It's old. People like us know football to see that it's a team effort to win games, and Kirk finally even has a young offensive minded head coach to believe in him and let him fly after we got rid of the defensive coordinator boomer we call Zim. Kirk is just in not so well put together rosters in order for him to win in primetime games, but hey, even primetime alone is yet another team effort that people like to put on the quarterback's shoulders anyway... 2022 should've been just enough to show that Kirk was never the problem, but nope, the haters are going to find excuses to hate him anyway when they say WE have the excuses to support him when WE have the right reasons to.

Marcus if your reading this, just know even though you aren't a starter in this league right now, the true fans, whether they are titans fans or not, respect you and all the other players that pour everything you guys have into the game we all love, Don't let the haters get to you, haha look at me trying to cheer you up in your fancy house and new car. Still keep up the grind. I believe your peers in the NFL honor and respect you just as much as kirk and patrick do. Love rooting for you on sundays man!

Besides being great QB's and making it to the top of their profession in football, a major thing I got from this doc is that all 3 of these guys are great human beings. Big time respect to all 3 guys

Quarterback was a great Netflix show, love all 3 quarterbacks story.
I'm a big Saints fan, but I must say over the past 3 years Mahomes has made me love KC. I wished he played for the Saints.

I was at that game when Marcus mentioned the cold night of the Titans going to the playoffs first time in like 14 seasons. I can tell you it was extremely cold. Correction it was like 10 degrees. Barely get to my car it was so cold. Marcus balled out… 🙏🏼

To me, Marcus Mariota is one of those player who was born 5 years too early because of his play style and how the league was different to how its played now. Same with Tavon Austin, D'Anthony Thomas, Reggie Bush etc.

So much respect for Kirk he is a humble family man and smart business person. Not blowing money on jewelry or flashy cars but building wealth for his kids and grandchildren.

in the show it was so great when he got home from the playoff loss and is like "oh it's trash day tomorrow I can't forget to put the bin out" - seems pretty grounded

Others may be, too. They DO. I can take 5m out of 100m, but w great car and house, nice watch and chain, and still have plenty left to invest. Stop judging others' choices! Kirk doesn't live in a shack, and I'm sure that his wife doesn't drive a Kia, respectfully 😂. He's NOT the "average Joe". He just made it APPEAR that way, to YOU.

Based off the success so far, I could see this series continuing. With other positions on the field too, think we found the successor to Hard Knocks

As a chiefs fan, watching this series gave me a whole new level of respect for Kirk and Marcus. You can tell they are both great people. Can’t help but to root for them. Wish them both the best of luck in 2023 and I can’t wait for the Vikings vs Chiefs matchup.
