I've said this before, but it rings so true still
Living through Grbac, Gannon, Smith. Not tasting even the AFC championship since Montana... It's been long and its been rough. I feel so blessed to be enjoying this now. I'm 39 and been rooting for the kingdom since I was 7. Every year I would say "Chiefs are going to the Superbowl!" I would hope against hope every game. Down by 14 with a minute and a half left?No biggie! We'll score and onside recover real quick and go tie it right up. So much hope and faith I had.
It still seems so surreal to be experiencing this era. All those childlike hopes made into reality. 32 years. 32 years have I waited. Let downs, false hopes, straight up embarrassments. All for this!
      How bout those CHIEEEEEEEFS!?!

I'd love to see the season from a rookie QB's/potential breakout starter's perspective- maybe Bryce Young or Desmond Ridder. Would still love to see that star QB perspective such as Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, or Jalen Hurts. Finish off with the "Kirk Cousins" type such as Geno Smith or Derek Carr. We could follow the same cast as last year, but it'd be interesting to get different guys every year- like a QB1 type of show.

This is an amazing exchange between two men sharing their experiences. Great dynamic between the two; Nate's questions were exceptional and he created a lot of fun with how he asked them. The small ways that Nate revealed his own life experiences created a beautiful bond between he and Patrick. Equally, Patrick's thoughtful answers and references to his own life revealed much about how he lives and what his life goals and expectations for his own performance are, both in football and daily experience. I'm so happy to have seen this longer version of the piece that I originally viewed.

Seeing him in the docuseries, yelling at Coach Reid for not letting him go back into the game towards the end of the SECOND QUARTER. Showed his competitive fire, but also how he wanted to be there for his teammates, even though x-rays came back negative and he played the second half, knowing how painful it would be, but still finding a way to get the job done.

Huge fan of another team, but I love this guy. He's sooooo good, and humble. His cockiness on the field is deserved, but he's also respectful to other players. I hope he retires before he's all broken.

As a Chief's fan,I am very appreciative of him. One of my favorite memories before my 89 year old Dad passed away is my Dad so happy when the Chief's won the Super Bowl #50.

The guy is all around awesome. Enjoy watching him play all season and the relationship he has with Coach Reid is so special. Was also glad that Netflix included him in the docuseries Quarterback!
Mahomes and Co. continue to work your magic on the field❤️

Really like Patrick. Wish him a good, healthy season, even though I'm a fan of Cinci! See you all on the field.
PS: Like that he's such a family man who has a beautiful wife and two kids that he's definitely into. This QB has the right stuff in every way.

Patrick is a truly remarkable young man. My fear is that with his ankle being vulnerable, opposing players will target that part of his body next season. I realy hope, as a KC fan, that he leads this team until he is ready to retire healthy.

I love Patrick Mahomes! One of the most talented players I have ever seen. In regards to him doing the documentary, he wants something for his kids to watch eventually, I watched several episodes, him and his wife say the F word every other sentence. It was night and day between how he talked and Kirk Cousins talked. Just wish he would be more careful with how talks because of all the kids that look up to him.
