Richard scored his 47th H/H match today. Yet again, he's just a hair behind Bert Convy as far as accuracy. Maybe this time he'll finally move ahead? Tomorrow is the last chance this week for Orson and/or Betty to have another go at the H/H match. So far, it's been all Richard all week... Here's the updated leader board for the 8 celebs to have scored 3 or more H/H matches so far, ranked by their current accuracy scores: Orson - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Betty - 52.2% (12 wins in 23 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Charles - 43.8% (14 wins in 32 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). Richard - 33.1% (47 wins in 142 attempts). Brett - 26.1% (6 wins in 23 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 309, excluding the lost/missing episodes 31, 32, 33.
Penny Marshall was in Friends and Lovers - a single season flop that nobody saw but then in 1976 she starred in Laverne and Shirley, a show which lasted 8 seasons - a solid success!
Actually, Friends And Lovers got good reviews and placed solidly in the ratings. People were watching it. It was sandwiched between All In The Family and Mary Tyler Moore on Saturday nights. CBS had high hopes for it being a smash hit. That's why they put it between two of their biggest shows. While it did do well, it was not the smash hit that CBS thought it would be. That's why they replaced it mid-season with The Jeffersons, which did turn out to be the smash hit they wanted for that time slot.

Yes. It’s a nice ski sweater.

Yeah, too bad. 😭
I liked Charles Nelson Reilly in this show. Somehow, I retain images of CNR doing those BIC banana crayons & Fig Newtons ads on Saturday mornings.

I adored Charles Brett not so much
Carrie was BEAUTIFUL!! Wow.
And she also carried herself very well and dressed with class.
