If everyone, including the newer generations, watched this program it could really catch on! It already has an almost cult- like following from us boomers. So hilarious! Just watching it can release tension, being the way it is. You can become addicted.
Interesting fact. I just looked up Jo Ann Worley and found that she and her husband were married from 1975 to 2000 and in 2000 he married Joyce Builifant! Whoa!
BILL LEVINS,,,, pretty ugly smile....all gums and yellow weird shaped teeth. Why don't you take a look at Farrah Faucet's Dating Game episode. Holy cow get some glasses.
Stuffed pork chop? Geez, Brett's answers were often ridiculous. Why did they make her a regular? She was often no help. Guess she had nothing better to do with her life. I doubt she would've done well on Celebrity Jeopardy where they make the clues easier than normal.
But the contestant didn't take Brett's suggestion-- she took Richard's suggestion and won $0 for it because his answer wasn't on the board. But the conclusion is that Brett was no help? (Keeping in mind that Richard was chosen first and Brett was chosen third -- it's always easier to come up with a first answer than a third. After seeing hundreds of audience match segments, the third answer given is often fairly weak. Sometimes the celebrity can't even come up with an answer.
GSN currently skips this episode, while Buzzr airs it with Gene's comment to Nipsey cut out. Buzzr skips other episodes of this week though, the 2nd (297) and 5th (300), while GSN only skips this one.
I don't think stuffed pork chops are particularly southern anyway. Nor do I see why everyone thought it was such a horrible answer. It was the first thing I thought of, and my only claim to being southern is being from South Jersey.
Having lived through that era, it was funny then, and it's funny now. And, yes, Gene would be out of work and apologizing on twitter today because we've lost our sense of humor.
The joke was that Gene was protesting Nipsey's use of a racist stereotype. he wasn't being rude, he was telling Nipsey not to say that because it was offensive.

The first reading Gene gave of the Adam and his fig leaf question sounded a bit like Don Adams.
The irony of Brett getting “Candy (blank)” when she’s always getting in trouble for eating candy on this show.
Best game show in history
That first girl looked like Nancy McKeon. Da da da da... the Facts of life, the Facts of life...
I thought so as well
I think even prettier
Well just more coy and sweet which makes her look prettier
And then the next girls name is Nancy, 😄
I had to go back and look at all the ladies. No she DOESN'T!
Who ever goes skydiving wearing a dress, for Pete's sake?!
Probably anyone who could reach her bra by accident.
I thought bikini because string bikinis were 'all the rage' in '74
For Pete’s sake, you said it
Candy Cane was the first thing that popped into my mind too.
Me too, then I thought of candy bar...
Nooooooooo Sammy Davis Jr and Candyman
Candyland
I was thinking Candy Bar but I predicted correctly she would say Candy Cane. Who in their right mind would ever choose Brett.
She actually did very well most of the time and won a lot of money for people.

I love stuffed pork chops! It keeps the meat from drying out while baking.
Stuffed pork chops?!
Yum! Any butcher will know how to cut them double thick for stuffing. Stuffed lamb chops are good, too.

Can hardly believe Nancy Hollingsworth had three children under five as she was very pretty.
Howdid Carol ever pass the screening process?
Stuffed Pork Chops? LMAO! WHAT THE HELL!

I'm surprised no one said stuffed turkey when they use this answer in many questions.
Rebecca is totally Robert Crumb's dream girl

That's a small Hollywood circle of people.
That contestant Nancy Hollingsworth at 7:10 looks so beautiful. What a pretty face with nice smile.
Even the ladies at the beginning were pretty cute. They had a lot of cuties in the 70s.
Bill Levins I thought rebbeca looks like Nancy McKeon, so cute.
Nice smile? You must be smokin crack.
Well I thought she looked good. We all have different tastes.

Brett and be so hateful. I know she had a tough childhood as well as bad marriages. But she isn't kind or gentle.
I would have guessed Stuffed Animals for that SM.

They needed her for the back & forth with Charles.

'Back of the bus' --err, no, I wouldn't have said that, even in jest.
Brett , you are not a southerner
She was not even American.
I don't think stuffed pork chops are particularly southern anyway. Nor do I see why everyone thought it was such a horrible answer. It was the first thing I thought of, and my only claim to being southern is being from South Jersey.
Another Go to the back of the bus remarks to Nipsey Russel.

He told Nipsey to get to the back of the bus...how friggin rude can you get
Back then, though, everybody just let it roll off their back. Now Gene would lose his job.
James --- such a terrible comment no matter what era it was....wow. degrading.

But Greg Morris got the same from Gene and he told him " We now own the bus".
Brett can not act for herself she needs help with everything on match game
