      It’s scored acceptable in the small overlap crash test, other competitors did better that’s sad considering this a family vehicle. “Acceptable” crash test rating in 2023 is unacceptable

      Tbh Toyotas are usually designed to meet the tests and nothing more, every time they come out with a new test they get worse ratings than others and the next model year they made some magical fix that makes the rating good.

    If I could buy the Hybrid Max with a 2nd row bench, I'd even consider paying a markup (I probably wouldn't have any choice) but the product engineers/marketing dept. have screwed us family people over just like every other Toyota/Lexus vehicle when you spec something in the higher/highest trim level. Even if you only have 2 kids, your kids may have friends to haul around, and if you're on a road trip and need all the cargo space with the 3rd row folded down, you're SOL. It really is annoying.

  • @w.t.1338
    @w.t.1338 2 месяца назад

    Love the interior except the storage spaces. In similar class from their main competitors, there is storage space at the bottom of center console. This one only has ONE TINY passenger side pocket on the bottom of the console. Trunk with 3rd row up doesn’t lift to storage. It’s nice the spare is easier to get to but that makes the cargo space even smaller.

    We just got ours and imediately found the ride, the steering and handling and the quiet of the interior far superior to the 2021 Highlander we had. We also are surprised at how quick it is compared to the V6 we used to have. I was not ready for that.

Drives like a much smaller car, very torquey engine much better than my 2014 V6 Pilot MUCH BETTER. the MAX was $6K more not worth it no way, Hybrd was unavailable and looked a bit plainer also and was 2.5K more .... the 4T is simple and straight forard and no battery replacement when I go to trade it in about 8 years

      Its better than a V6, it's got more torque, 265HP and 310lbft of torque which is more than adequate for a vehicle like this, like the Topher said, it's decently quick. If you want more power you can get the Hybrid Max which has around 100 more horsepower.
