Great review! I do own a Hybrid Max Limited since October, no rattling nor noises as of yet. I do get 29 MPG in Eco Mode. Just subscribed to your channel!
Thank you! Did you opt for the Sunroof or 360 Camera's? I noticed that is optional on the HybridMax Limited but brings the price very close to the Platinum if equipped on the Limited.
I'm impressed with this review. I've watched many hours of reviews on this vehicle and nobody covered the issues you brought up, which certainly seemed legit. The lack of self-dimming side mirrors is stunning in this trim. Anyways, many thanks for your thoughts on this. Subscribing now.
I have a 2021 Highlander Platinum Hybrid with under 16k miles on it. My lease is up in Sept, and I have called many Toyota dealerships and asked if they had the GH Hybrid Max in Storm Cloud with the portobello interior. Not 1 dealership has that combo. I am going to see the Lexus TX 500H FSport Performance this Saturday. I want a hybrid, so the TX 350 isn't going to be the right vehicle for me. You provided great info, and I just subscribed. Thanks! 👍
Good luck, I just bought a Hybrid MAX Limited by the grace of God. Getting what you want is almost not an option in Hybrid. Dealers are still marking them up, keeping inflation alive; and the ones that don't, people have them reserved about three months out. Platinum is almost non-existent unless you settle for gas, and even then, it is still hard to find. To get what you want, go to the dealership and order it since you have some time. Otherwise, it may be a very frustrating process if the demand doesn't settle by then. Chip shortages are still a problem for hybrids in all models. Expect to have tow hitches, puddle lamps, emergency kits, and other nonsense added from the port or factory to raise the price above base MSRP.
Why on God's green earth would you want a hybrid driving so few miles annually.... Let alone lease. Your probably the leasing companies most profitable customer
@JohnJohn-wr1jo Not so fast, I decided to buy out my own lease. I now own an extremely low mileage Highlander Platinum Hybrid with zero payments due. I paid it off completely. Toyota sent me the title. In the end, I win.
I get all your dislikes, but to be fair, if they included those options, there would be nothing the TX offers over the GH, and it would likely be the same price as the TX.
Lol it’s so funny. When i saw all the furniture i saw you moved i was like man im not going to be able to all that again . I just had s spinal disc replacement at c6-c7 last week… n then i heard your comment about the headrest and laughed to myself. What are the odds!? You kinda gave me some unexpected optimism. Thanks for your insight!
Sorry to hear that! I don't know exactly how the two procedures compare but anything with the spine is scary. It took me a good 6-8 months to gain any sort of confidence doing many tasks. Positive thoughts and patience! I'm 7 years post op this month :)
Bro, why is no one talking about the Grand highlander regular hybrid model? It can get upwards of 40+ mpgs combined, more than what is rated by toyota. It is the best 3rd row in the game today, period. Everyone that disagrees, obviously, is butt hurt because they can not afford one or can not obtain one because they are on a 6+ month waiting list to get, so yeah, i think its the vehicle speaks volumes of what the majority believes.
I’ve been monitoring reviews. People complaining about cheap material. The Grand is substantially bigger than the regular Highlander, but weighs almost the same. Tells me something. I recently bought the 2024 Highlander Limited. I wanted and bought the gas turbo model. I am a low mileage driver and will get minimal savings on gas. I much prefer the 2.4 turbo which really moves. The Limited is very quiet. Maybe it’s the acoustic side windows. Finally, I traded in my ultra low mileage 2021 Venza hybrid Limited. Tired of the droning sound. I thing a lot of people will buy the hybrid out of curiosity, and realize the much poorer driving experience isn’t worth the gas savings.
Well, let's see out of the rest of the mid-size SUV's.. it has the most comfortable third row, it has great tech, easily compatible for gear, like a tow hitch, has an A crash test rating which honestly should be the greatest point. Why buy a vehicle if it is going to crash like an accordion? An A crash rating means the vehicle does have quality, maybe not in the booshy way yall would like but hey buy a more lux vehicle and I will feel at ease knowing my kids will be safe😅 @G-Rated
@@jm4774 Are you sure about that? Go build one on the Toyota site and see where it says 6 speed auto. I was considering the Grand highlander until all the toyota engine problems and recalls started coming out. Pass

How can you have 16k on 2021?! Do you only drive to church on Sundays?

3:35 would have been nice if you shot a video in the dark and showed us how does headlights look
This trim has the max power GHL can offer, why it can’t come with bench second row seat option?

This vehicle is devoid of any kind of style. It’s a Rolling side by side refrigerator
I guess it matches your personality well, then. 😂
Looks so bland. It’s a box on wheels
You can now get a heavily discounted Kia EV9 Wind AWD for less money than this
Kia and Hyundai suck big time plZ don’t even compare them
Hawk tuah!😂

The CVT killed it for me, was actually considering it. Sucks. Toyota went to shit.
This Hybrid Max has a 6-speed auto transmission. The regular hybrid has the CVT.

It’s an ECTV totally different. Check out “car care nut” reviewing this vehicle.
CTV and ECTV are completely different
