Steve explains why review outlets like GN, L1, and LMG should NEVER let companies send personal gifts to their staff. Huge potential ethics issue. You folks actually missed a whole control. On the back left hand side when you sit in the chair there is a paddle you can push up and down to change the tension when you lean back. Give that a go as well. Other than that I liked the review.
I really wish they would have read the directions before they tried the adjustments. There is miss-information in the video. The front knob with the blue height adjust is for tilt tension not a different zone of back adjustment. The back knob on the right side is the only for adjusting the posture fit. On the back left hand side there is the tilt limiter arm that will allow you to tilt back more or less.
The knob towards the front is for tilt tension (NOTHING to do with the back support), paddle on the left rear is for tilt lock, and the rearwards knob is to adjust the entire 'backfit'. Also the height adjustment toggle can be pulled in any direction. This is basically nothing more than an Embody with Logitech branding, and can be found lightly used for
@@DJ-PWR I didn't overlook it, but rather feel it adds nothing tangible to the product, Ive had an Embody for years (12+ hours a day) and have never had an issue with heat. And while its still an additional 'feature': Its a $300 add.
Yes and actually no, so Herman Miller and Logitech did work together on this for ergonomics(sitting angles absolutely matter for how people sit. Some people love to sit back, this isn't for that), and the cooling pads which help when/if you sit in the chair for a long time. Also helps that apparently they cost the exact same amount.
Actually got a Herman Miller chair a couple of months ago, it’s been amazing, you could sit in that thing for like 8 hours and feel zero strain on your back, the negative part is sitting in other chairs for long periods of time after it

I've had a nice ergonomic chair for the last 5 or 6 years now. It's still going great and I can sit in this thing for 8+ hours without a problem. For a chair that will likely last you many years and is better for your back and posture $1500 is 100% worth it.

When people forget that the state of Alaska is a part of the 50 United States, and I've tried buying a CPU awhile back, it was a great deal... Minus the fact that they wanted to literally charge me $10,000 for shipping to a rural town here in Alaska....
It’s not a gaming chair. It’s literally just a Herman Miller Embody that Logitech slapped their logo and a few blue accents on. Everything else is the exact same.
First of all, I was very happy with how fast this item was delivered. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxYR69rUVDfF56JHQRldV2uJeXaPA9LTZW It came a day before the listed delivery date, which was super great! I was able to assemble it myself with no difficult and I am not an engineer or a put-it-together expert. The chair is super comfortable, I play video games for roughly 3-4 hours at a time and it does not make my back hurt or neck hurt. The Reclining function actually surprised me because it goes very low, you could fall asleep on it ( and in fact i have while laying on it with a foot rest for my legs). The red is a bold choice and I usually stay away but I love how the red and black contrast looks on this type of material. The wheels on this chair are very very quiet, I have wood vinyl in my apartment and there is absolutely no noise. OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND or BUY IT AGAIN !
I'm a little sad -- I have this chair and they missed like, the best part of the thing. the weird back is made that way so the whole back will twist with you , so even if you ARE sitting with shit posture, you still get supported. Seriously, sit in that chair and lean back and left or back and right. it's magic. edit: I have the regular embody, not the logitech version
We’ve teamed up with Logitech G to make updates to the chair specifically for gamers. The seat has an additional layer of foam to better support your posture while you play, and we’ve developed new technology to keep you cool, too.
imtechguy so basically no difference. 😂 it’s like the smallest bit of trim level difference to a car. “Look, this one as a tiny spoiler and you can shift the gears!... but it’s still an automatic transmission”
It is literally the same as this Herman Miller Embody chair... Just with Logitech G branding... Although the Logitech version is cheaper... www.hermanmiller.com/products/seating/office-chairs/embody-chairs/
That still looks like a good thing to me though , I mean it does look pretty good, maybe the carbon foam whatever does help, and I mean paying less for something good is also fine.
With people buying racing car pc chairs, it was only a matter of time, getting chairs that do the job properly into the market. Slapping an existing name to it is a good way to do it. Im surprised it hadnt happened sooner.
So what you're saying is... We've been lied to? "Designed by Bill Stumpf and Jeff Weber" At least, I assume Herman Miller is a person. That's how they talked about it in the video anyway ^^'
I always remove the arm rests on my chairs, it gives me nerve pain in my elbows and shoulder pain. It's more comfortable to let my arms rest at my side in a natural position.
That knob you first adjust is just tilt tension, it doesnt change anything on the back at all. Second one changes the back curvature but you don't have to be seated for it to conform to your back, it conforms once you sit down.
I've used it for 11 years now. It's good. Has saved me a butt load of money and time buying cheaper chairs that wear out. Takes time to learn how to use it properly. Highly adjustable/reactive - you're suppose to adjust it to meet your moment to moment needs... it's less about 'set and forget' and more 'tweak to meet your current needs'. Having said that, I kinda wish it had a head rest... except, I used to - but then I learnt that the right back adjustment knob is actually... an upper back tilt/tension adjustment - you're supposed to turn it so that your head and eyes are level - your head is then carried by your upper spine very comfortably, even when you're leaning back as far as it goes. The right front knob is not a lumbar adjustment knob contrary to what Colton is saying - it's a back rest tension adjustment knob - you're supposed to calibrate it so that it holds your body weight - the consequence is once you calibrate it, you can hold a wide range of positions without playing with the tilt lock lever - you simply move forward or backward and it'll 'suspend' you in that position. That way, you get movement AND support in the back of the chair - which is the real standout feature on these high end ergonomic chairs.
@@Sohzy Yeah but its what you sit on, so like... what will determine how good your spine will be in a few years... So a going for something of high quality is a great idea. Especially if you spend the vast majority of your day sitting. Like some folk who sit since they wake up to when they go to sleep.
I've had an embody chair going on about 7 years now and it's still the best office investment I've made. Can't put a price on long term health benefits
Sure you can, $100. Because thats about what it costs to buy a chair with good sacral and lumbar support. Nothing about putting a curved back on a chair costs $1500. What exactly is it you think Herman Miller chairs do that magically heals backs?
@@nerdstrangler4804 I have a back injury from mountain bike racing from when I was a teenager so I'm fairly sensitive to bad posture. @@Drewbakka I am currently sitting in an Aeron remastered. I notice zero difference in support over budget chairs. Okay so that may look like an unintentional blunder but i encourage you to look up the book "The Measure of Man and Woman" by Henry Dreyfuss and asssociates. This is a continuously updated book which contains measurements of man and woman of all body types in order to design best for them. I can almost assure that it was used in the making of this chair. However, that means it was designed for a majority of 'average' sized humans. Certain heights and weights are just bound to require special design and a whole different product. The designers of this chair forsure took into account human ergonomics on this design, I have no doubts. Personally , i would prefer the herman miller Aeron.
The chair is designed for the 2nd to 98th percentile. So around 6'3 should be the tallest people it works well for. If you have a exceptionally tall (or exceptionally shoret) upper body, you need a different model. If you're more than 136kg, you need a different one as well.
I think you have overestimated the length of an inch and that you may have forgot each one of those inches is across the full body not just torso length which is on average 2/5 of your body. according to the website it works well up to 6ft 3 inches. This is demonstrated when the two other guys, who are taller, get into the chair and it still supports them.
It bugs me that they aren’t pointing out that this chair has been around for years. It’s the gold standard for office chairs, but Herman Miller just had Logitech slap a big “G” on it to sell it to gamers. (Edit: Please do better LMG and actually give us *facts* about the products you’re showing us, not just talking-head, yOuTuBe rEaCtIoN style videos with surface level context on a product, arguably misinformation about said product if not misleading info, and click-baity titles and thumbnails.) Also, if you have the dough, go for it, if not, don’t worry about it. There are plenty of affordable ergonomic chairs on the market, they just aren’t marketed to gamers.
Luis Enrique Ponce Martínez whats your point? It’s still lazy and cynical marketing to not change a long-standing office product and call it a “gaming chair” just because you slapped a “Logitech” on it.
FYI, this Embody is $100 cheaper and is literally the same Embody. Just with blue accents and a logitech logo. It's a good deal when talking about high-end HM chairs.
I upgraded to a regular embody and words cannot describe how good these chairs are. They are 100% worth the money. Everyday I sit in it I still amazed at how comfortable it is .
I'm probably going to order one in a couple weeks. Just wanted to do a little research first. I get bad sciatica, so I think it will be worth it in the long run.
Well... The Chair (a high quality ergonomic chair... Gaming is bullshit ) is made for you health what is ( by far ) more important then your setup... So... Yes... That's the way it should be ( if you are sitting there for hours a day )
This is a very poor video - these chairs have highly specific functionality that require many settings to be changed - why not just take a look at the manual?
I was planning on buying an Aeron chair after I tried the Steelcase Leap in a showroom and was severely underwhelmed. But surprisingly when I went to a showroom to try the Aeron and Embody chairs, I loved the Embody way more. Not only that, I found the Logitech version more comfortable than the regular Embody chair because of the added foam. I don't usually hop on trends like this, because if I'm being honest with myself I'm not much of a gamer, but I'm definitely getting the Logitech version. It actually goes with my setup since I have the MX Master 3 mouse and G915 wireless mechanical keyboard. I didn't plan it like this, but it's kind of satisfying having all my peripherals be Logitech, they just make the best stuff.
I've had the Steelcase Leap for about 1 year. I hate it. Thinking about upgrading to the Embody in the near future. The Leap is far too clumsy and rigid in the wrong places. Its a disgrace that I have to use a cheap seat cushion from Amazon on my Leap because the original cushion is so damn stiff that I start to hurt after about an hour of use.
I have had this chair for almost 8 years(non-gaming version), and it is still as solid as when I got first got it; This chair does pay for itself in its 12-year lifespan, not mention your back lol. PS: The regular Herman Miller Embody chair is 15% off right now (2x a year Herman Miller sale); The only difference between the gaming and non-gaming one is the fabric and the color. I don't know if the fabric is worth the 15% extra lol.
Cole Cousins oh yeah how dare he to spend 1500 bucks on something he uses for 8+ hours a day over years.. meanwhile you spend probably the same amount on stupid weeb anime figures in the past year alone
@@USEC3 LOL. this is how you can spot the HMiller Simps. Nothing wrong with spending $1k-$2k on a chair, That is WORTH that much. My problem is that the chair is garbage. If you buy a $100 chair off Amazon, you're gonna get junk. Just because the same chair cost more doesn't make it not junk. It just means they have bigger margins. Before you reply about how great the chair is, answer me ONE question. Why for $1,500!!! they can't put a decent set of caster on the chair. I'm sorry, but this is like going to a Chinese place that overcooks their rice. If you can't even do THAT right how am I gonna trust you to do ANYTHING else right? He's also sitting in the chair the wrong way for gaming. He should be parallel with his arms to the table. Otherwise he's just hurting his arms and upper back during long sessions.
Yea, his arms should be on the height of the arm rest. But maybe they just couldn't change the desk height that quickly. Let's hope he has good posture at home.
@@erdem-- I broke my tray in the old desk and started seeing the appeal of on desk large mousepad... Got a foot rest thing to address the posture thing because I'm short and already work sitting down all day.
this is where a standing desk is so useful because you can lower the height if your short so the arm rests fits and you have 90 degrees angle with your legs.
Budget chairs are budget because they cut corners in engineering and manufacturing to make them cheaply. If someone could manufacture a knockoff chair as good as a Herman Miller and do it at half the cost, they would be doing so and raking in tons of money.
I’m interested in ergonomics; that’s why I wanted to watch this video. Could you tell me how you get your arm rests so your elbows are at 90°, and yet you’re able to reach your keyboard? Spatially, it just seems like the edge of the table would get in the way and you would have a long way to reach for the keyboard. At least I have the screen ergonomics sorted, with VESA Mount arms for both my iMac and second monitor.
@@evshrug I have an ergonomic advisor in the office and I believe she mentioned the arm rests should be at the same height as the desk. The way we achieve this is with a height adjustable desk and foot rest combo. A massively limiting factor nowadays is desks are a default height. I would recommend getting an adjustable one and then you have the option to use it as a standing desk which is crazy good for your ergo!
its more of an unboxing channel where they "discover" the products, not really reviews, I think Linus made that pretty clear; he wanted a channel more like unboxtherapy
The fact that this ISN'T a review channel is why I appreciate his frequent reminders that he didn't read the instructions. No "review" channel would be able to get away with that. That said, I would LOVE a proper review of this thing. Other comments are saying the only "collab" Logitech did was the branding, so I'll probably just look up a review of the original. Seems it's on sale right now!

The term is used to make the average gamer believe they are better than standard chairs, just like some people believe that gaming headsets are better than actual headphones.
well...in real "gamin chair" ..means the char to sit a lot of time, while office chair should be roughly be used 8 hrs in a day wit some rest time from sitting on it
The thing that sets Embody apart from others is that it’s just as comfortable after 10-14hr of work or gaming. You can also swap out the casters with theirs or a 3rd Party’s to bring that rolling up a level. 👍🏼
@@mattm7007 I don't think the price at all. It's actually the cheapest configuration you can get lol. Which is surprising tbh since they technically did add some stuff to it that the regular Embody doesn't have.
I’ve had a Herman Miller Embody for about 2 years now. The chair is very good, but I absolutely feel that it’s not worth the hefty price tag (I still have buyer’s remorse after all this time). Just to save folks from overspending - I would highly recommend a lower end Herman Miller or a Steelcase chair for 50% the cost. The embody is generally uncomfortable by design (you must plant your feet squarely on the ground) and it very quickly develops rattles where the back connects to the seat. It’s a good chair, but it absolutely is not worth $1650 dollars.
@ LTT can't live off just by having Squarespace or their other limited pool of sponsors, so they have to diversify to support their staff and expenditures. It's hard to believe that they managed to have around 30 staff by just being a RUclipsr with no direct store to buy them from (except the water bottles, which you can buy from China where an equivalent is sold at a fraction of the price. The profit they make is what's used to support the channel) If you're going to have high standards, you will have no sponsor, because every single company that LTT gets sponsorship from, someone has bad things to say about them.
I really don't like this video. It feels like "Hey, I bought this with company money and now I'm gonna unbox it" (idk if that's true, that's how it felt). In one of the comments you answered that you were "more curious about what makes this chair $1500 instead of the specific adjustability that it can do.". The thing is that this adjustability is a big part of what makes this chair cost $1500. Why not explore it more if you're so curious? You then continue with "If there's a full review, it'll end up on LTT with thorough research and testing.". Why not do the "thorough research" of *reading the manual for a chair* for this video/this channel? I'm disappointed, but I still love ya'll. I hope you do better and don't upload videos that have no thought behind it. Have a great day
@@grumpychocobo Lol how could you say that if you have no idea what actually constitutes good posture/good chair? Just cause u sat in it for 7 years doesnt mean your back isnt fucked
The warranty alone is 12 years. So you can try to imagine how long you can use them in reality. Nevertheless, most times these are business costs, not someone dipping into personal savings for a gaming chair. I have a herman Miller Sayl at home (cheapest one, those were too expensive) but I (in the old world as well) work from home with full days of office work and then adding gaming. So yeah. Bit of an investment. But sitting in it more then 8 hours a day with my last chair lasting me 13 years (a lower tier ergo chair)
yeah, If I sold a chair that cost me $100 to make for $1500, I would slap a 12 year warranty on it as well. Doesn't mean it's not overpriced garbage. They can't even put decent caster wheels on it.
Ever since I bought a used high end ergonomic chair like this, I have never felt the need to go to a chiropractor ever since, and I used to go all the time. The savings pays for the chair and more over time.
This chair is by far the best chair money can buy. I paid $1100 for my chair but I’m in insurance sales and I spend 8-10hrs per day sitting in front of the computer and I need a good chair and this fits the bill. I have not had any back issues since I’ve been sitting in this chair for well over 2 weeks now. May be all mental.
I’ve been using the chair for over a month now and the chair is excellent. I have been using this chair 8-12hrs per day 7 days a week and no pain or discomfort on my tailbone or my back. I love the lumbar support and the cushioned seat. It has everything an office worker and gamer needs for correct ergonomics. It costed a pretty penny but I’ll be more than happy to do it again with the black on black colorway. This chair is by far the best chair money can buy without a doubt. Thanks.
Colton is great on camera! More reviews from him plz. Also, I'm impressed that, according to the credits, he shot the whole thing even though he was in front of camera!
Really? Imo he's annoying af. There's not a single thing in this video that would indicate any professionalism. Heck he didn't even figure out functions of chair he tested...
They were still *trying* to explain its functions to the audience while literally having no idea about how to use or even discovering half of them. Can you name anyone that wants to see why they would be paying $1500 for a feature-packed chair get explained only half the features, and really really badly? They spent a "short" 15 minutes mis-explaining a chair. Horrible.
I had the non-Logitech version of this at work for 1.5 years and I really didn’t like it at all. No amount of adjustment gave me the right support I was looking for. The adjustability is not great, and you seem to either fit it perfectly or you don’t.
It's extraordinarily painful watching them test the features, they missed and misunderstood so many. This chair is awesome and the review doesn't do it justice.
I have a Steelcase Gesture chair. Sales woman gave me 50% off because it was a little dusty and I was shopping for my birthday. The armrests are much better than the embody with the adjustability and design being absolutely phenomenal. My headphone cable doesn't get stuck around the armrest either like other chairs do. It's probably slightly less comfortable on the back than this embody chair, but if you're coming from a dinky gaming chair it's going to be miles better regardless, and the ease of adjustability and adjustable features in my opinion makes it more worth it than the embody.
@@vloneseraph Not universally true. There are plenty of people who complain about a hard ridge on the front edge of the seat pan when the pan isn't fully extended. Herman miller is the best I’ve been using their chairs forever now, 12 year warranty. Been using the Aeron chair as of late, by far my favorite chair but would love to try this one out
I'd like to add my experience with this chair so far, after coming from a secretlab chair. As someone who is 5'9" and 240lbs with a thyroid problem causing overheating, and several back surferies after a soccer accident, I've been able to play for 6 hours straight with no sweat problems or uncomfortable back issues. This is a first. I had a secretlab titan xl in napa leather before this and there was absolutely no decent support and the awful seat padding actually made it really easy to overheat. The spring system used in the embody makes the seat much better at keeping cool, same with the unique back skeleton. The only thing I give secretlab over the embody is the armrest versatility. I'd say the Logitech G Embody is worth it for people with existing back problems. If you dont have existing back problems, then a used Herman Miller Aeron would be the better choice. I would have gone with an Aeron if it had better back support, but only lumbar support is not very useful for me. Main summary: don't buy secretlab or the ishkar junk. Get an office chair that you can comfortably sit in for 6-8 hours straight and not regret it the next day when you cant walk properly.
Herman Miller and Logitech are both fantastic brands so it's great to see them team up. I have the Aeron chair at the moment and I love it, would like to try one of these out.
Exactly... and a 12 year warranty! You know how many crapy $100-250 chairs I've been through? They don't last more than a few years max, just long enough for their 1-2 year warranty. I've got an Embody chair I've been using since 2009, still in near perfect condition, and a good year left in the warranty.
Smiletracer There is also an abundance of parts for them too. I bought mine second hand for $200 and replaced the piston, base, and added super smooth inline skate wheels for $70. It definitely made the chair feel like new and for the price of one of the cheap crappy racecar themed gaming chairs, I have something insanely comfortable and supportive. I study from home 8 to 10 hours a day so I definitely use it. I’m getting an Embody as soon as I’m done with med school... and the debt ;)
Finally a "Gaming" Chair that isn't complete trash. I had a Maxnomic, but a month into being stuck at home I knew it was time to get something with real support and bought a Steelcase.
tbf, most gamers have never sat in a real office chair before, since most of their deluded market is filled to the brim with knock-off cheapo chinese crap that slap "gamer" on everything and sell it at a 500% markup. Also, most gamers are children, that have never been in an office before, lol.
Once adjust properly the Herman Miller Embody may be the best chair you buy. The factory instructions will guide you to adjust the chair to your size. I've actually stopped going to chiropractor since getting this chair. Also my carpal tunnel issues have went away. Yes, you can do 12 hour days in this chair.

That knob you first adjust is just tilt tension, it doesnt change anything on the back at all. Second one changes the back curvature but you don't have to be seated for it to conform to your back, it conforms once you sit down.
Would really like to see a review with someone that has been asked to use this for work for 1-2 weeks.
I don’t have the embody but I have one of the other high end Herman Miller chair. It’s amazing.

They should've had Taran come and do a side-by-side, Tall and Short comparison, Colton knows chairs, Taran knows about Ergonomics.
this is important to me as well at 6'3" it's hard for us to find a chair that offers decent neck/head support.
This is demonstrated when the two other guys, who are taller, get into the chair and it still supports them.

its more of an unboxing channel where they "discover" the products, not really reviews, I think Linus made that pretty clear; he wanted a channel more like unboxtherapy
Totally agree with the not a review comments, but he is the one that decided to compare it to other chairs. So it just was a bit flighty and without substance.

The term “gaming chair” is meaningless.
I mean the point is to tap into the gaming audience like us right hahaha. They're just adapting and joining the hypetrain to not lose out to brands that are inferior to them but profiting i.g. secret lab.
The term is used to make the average gamer believe they are better than standard chairs, just like some people believe that gaming headsets are better than actual headphones.
Yep, slap some shitty bucket seats on a stool and done!
(but this Herman Miller is pretty dope)
well...in real "gamin chair" ..means the char to sit a lot of time, while office chair should be roughly be used 8 hrs in a day wit some rest time from sitting on it

FYI, every May there is a Herman Miller sale, the perfect time to buy one. And yes, I bought mine during this period a few years ago.
The thing that sets Embody apart from others is that it’s just as comfortable after 10-14hr of work or gaming. You can also swap out the casters with theirs or a 3rd Party’s to bring that rolling up a level. 👍🏼
I just wanna know what was Logitech's contribution in this chair.
Marketing purposes lmao
The logo ;)

The logo and the price duh.
Which steelcase do you recommend?
Dude this chair cost more than my entire set up while I am sitting on this Vietnamese coffee shop's chair lol
Vincerowatches are not a great company. You should look into them more.
What’s wrong with them?
For that money, A Seiko pressage is a much better looking, more reliable and far better finished watch.
They are all $5 Ali express mass produced quartz garbage
@ LTT can't live off just by having Squarespace or their other limited pool of sponsors, so they have to diversify to support their staff and expenditures. It's hard to believe that they managed to have around 30 staff by just being a RUclipsr with no direct store to buy them from (except the water bottles, which you can buy from China where an equivalent is sold at a fraction of the price. The profit they make is what's used to support the channel)
If you're going to have high standards, you will have no sponsor, because every single company that LTT gets sponsorship from, someone has bad things to say about them.
@@xx-----------xx873 If only Seiko would just sponsor LTT instead of spending their ad budget in traditional media.
I have a Herman Miller Aeron chair. Bought it used, in like new condition, for $500 US. This review makes me happy. :)
Have a great day
I thought not putting too much thought into reviews was the point of this channel
@@emirkaya2483 Maybe, but this feels like there's no thought at all.
The chairs are supposed to last a long time so it’s a big investment up front but lasts you a while
I mean, I'm on year 7 with a chair that's mesh with back support and adjustible arms...cost me $99 sooooooo.
Exactly
yeah, If I sold a chair that cost me $100 to make for $1500, I would slap a 12 year warranty on it as well. Doesn't mean it's not overpriced garbage. They can't even put decent caster wheels on it.
Ever since I bought a used high end ergonomic chair like this, I have never felt the need to go to a chiropractor ever since, and I used to go all the time. The savings pays for the chair and more over time.
Logitech doesnt have to do anything with this chair, they have just put a logo on it
They put out the marketing to the gamer segment with their name. It was a win-win for both companies.
They added a few features to it

Thanks.

When a chair is more expensive than your entire setup
Colton is great on camera! More reviews from him plz.
Also, I'm impressed that, according to the credits, he shot the whole thing even though he was in front of camera!
Really? Imo he's annoying af. There's not a single thing in this video that would indicate any professionalism. Heck he didn't even figure out functions of chair he tested...
This is in no way an actual review, for those asking why they skipped instructions etc. This is more of a "first look," like "why is it $1500?"
That’s this channel in a nutshell
This isn't a review though....?
I mean....I guess? But sure, let's just conveniently ignore that everyone was saying it's not worth the $1500 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
10:39 "I'm wearing pants right now" I'd hope so
I have a Steelcase Gesture chair. Sales woman gave me 50% off because it was a little dusty and I was shopping for my birthday. The armrests are much better than the embody with the adjustability and design being absolutely phenomenal. My headphone cable doesn't get stuck around the armrest either like other chairs do. It's probably slightly less comfortable on the back than this embody chair, but if you're coming from a dinky gaming chair it's going to be miles better regardless, and the ease of adjustability and adjustable features in my opinion makes it more worth it than the embody.
the seat design in the embody is unmatched
@@vloneseraph Not universally true. There are plenty of people who complain about a hard ridge on the front edge of the seat pan when the pan isn't fully extended. I love my broken in seat pan on my fern. It was a little firm at first, but it's softened up and the waterfall front edge is 10/10. The amia or leap is supposed to have a better seat pan, though.
even a $1500 chair can't eliminate the gunch of a true gamer
I remember watching this almost a year ago right before I actually got my Logitech embody and 1 year later I am still very much satisfied with mine.
Was it worth the money? I need it for work and gaming
Like I’m in my office for 8 hours a day man and I have bad back pain already
@@MrJamieFRESH I mean its so expensive that I don't know if it's worth it but it is a great chair. I didn't have any back pain I needed solved I just bought it because all of my old gaming chairs would have something go wrong with after 1-2 years and the Embody still looks and feels like its brand new even after thousands of hours seated in it.
@@hahagager cheers man, I think it’s got to be worth it then
I make my money in my office so I’ve got to be comfortable so I’m productive
And if this means I can sit and focus for hours comfortably then to me it’s so worth the money!
It’s an investment that’s going to last 12+ years
That’s 36p a day which is £1.80 a working week! Not bad it’s just that initial up front cost
I say £1200 because I can claim the vat back as it would be a business expense
Get an office chair that you can comfortably sit in for 6-8 hours straight and not regret it the next day when you cant walk properly.
my parents gifted me a herman miller chair, I have never once felt uncomfortable on this thing even after my one multi day work session on my computer
Herman Miller and Logitech are both fantastic brands so it's great to see them team up. I have the Aeron chair at the moment and I love it, would like to try one of these out.
The thing is, this chair will last for 20 years. I'm writing this from a 20 year old Herman Miller Aeron
Exactly... and a 12 year warranty!
The chair is pre-assembled?! That's worth the $1500 alone. Putting together an ergonomic chair is a nightmare. And I like building things.
It's seriously the best office chair money can buy.
I got my ergonomic chair in 3 parts, the rolly thing on the bottom, the spring and then the whole upper part
Finally a "Gaming" Chair that isn't complete trash. I had a Maxnomic, but a month into being stuck at home I knew it was time to get something with real support and bought a Steelcase.
2:40 You mean Logitechs market, cus they pretty much did nothing, other than show it to the gamers.
tbf, most gamers have never sat in a real office chair before, since most of their deluded market is filled to the brim with knock-off cheapo chinese crap that slap "gamer" on everything and sell it at a 500% markup. Also, most gamers are children, that have never been in an office before, lol.

Once adjust properly the Herman Miller Embody may be the best chair you buy. The factory instructions will guide you to adjust the chair to your size.
