Damn, never expected for them to sponsor anyone let alone a tech channel, i mean it shows how much they care just about showing the game with as many people as possible instead of showing it to as many people that would care about the game
I've had my SecretLab Titan XL since September. It's phenomenal and a huge upgrade over my previous chair, the literal seat from a Dodge Viper bolted to a caster (Craigslist special).
Hands down the best chair. My husband got his a few years ago, and I would steal it when he wasn't in office until I got my own. It still looks like new, hold up really well. Arguably, when I'm away from home for more than a day, I miss my chair more than I miss my husband. It has effectively ruined sitting on any other chair for me.
Main problem, at least with the 2020 model, is that armrests tear up on the sides for many people during first or second year of use. It's most likely moisture/temperature fluctuation issue so if you don't sweat on it, might be fine. Support is likely to do a one-time "free" replacement.
Cool, I just ordered a Titan Evo 2022 with SoftWeave Plus, could you tell me how it is holding up? Like did you got any stains and how easy it is to clean? That's my biggest concern. ^^
@@Urza26 it won't tear up. What I do recommend is putting a thin cushion on top of the seat because sweat could leave some hard to remove stains on the fabric.
@@drblackrat sorry for the late reply. You should place a thin cushion or pillow on top of the seat because mines been collecting sweat stains that I still don't know how to remove. I also ordered the omega cushion for my back which is very comfortable. Enjoy!
I bought my Secretlab Titan 2-3 Years ago and it's still a fantastic chair. You need some time to get used to the quite huge size of this chair (I'm about 178cm tall) but now I don't wanna miss this one. Especially due to the COVID home office and home studying situation, I spend an average of 10-12 Hours a day, 7 days a week in this chair. The only issue I have so far are the armrests, where the material on one of those gave up. Sadly the older versions are not hot-swappable, so the 2022 version looks darn nice to me.
I have the 2019 model. Love the chair. Havent been forced to take breaks due to back pain since I snagged it. I got a killer deal on it since they were clearing out stock to make way for the 2020 models.
i like Jono. he cares so much about his co-worker that he wore a mask to protect them in case he was sick or spreading something. The host, not as caring about his "friends"
$450 for a gaming chair that requires break in? It's a damn chair! Why do I need to break it in!?!! Why someone wouldn't just spend and extra $50-100 on a aeron with all these clearance sales from office spaces closing up is beyond me. You guys really need to try a true ergonomic Herman Miller chair, life changer. And yes I have owned a gaming chair in the past as have a few of my friends...they were all junk for extended long term usage
Why couldn't they have come out with this 6 months earlier? I have the Omega and love it, but I'd much rather have the integrated lumbar support as opposed to the pillows.
Some chairs, as far as I know they never got to the video for secretlab but were testing it internally as people recommended them as an alternative to the other brands.
Just get a 10 year warranty Tempurpedic chair(yes it's the same company selling the memory foam mattresses) from Staples (got it shipped too my door in less than 24hrs with free shipping)for less than $250 USD, add a neck pillow, and gel butt pad if you're really short like me(5ft 4in, 144Lbs), and be done with it, as they are adjustable, affordable, sturdy, easy to assemble, and comfortable AF.
@@davidjameswales yeah they never ended up reviewing them with all the other chairs. think they're waiting to use them for a year before doing to a review video.
I have had a secret labs titan for over a year now. it is still on of my favorite gaming chairs. It also really helped with my back over the year that I have had it.
always buy your chair at a store. it's to important to just go online and believe what other say. and my god dont cheap out on it. Your back deserve the right one for you body.
I got the 2022 titan Evo in cookies and cream Uber-Soft, fabric. That’s not what it’s called I’m sure but oh my God it’s like butt and back heaven. My 2018 Omega well still probably outlast me but I’m glad I got this one.

Are these chairs actually comfortable and good for long hours of work/gaming, or is it just another gimmicky gaming chair? I'm really curious, as I could spend the same amount of money on a refurbished Herman Miller chair.
Makes me think it's a hidden paid promotion cause no one "actually gamed" as he said we would see. Everyone just marveling at it. Was looking into buying this chair today actually and saw this video and was kind of anticipating seeing it in action cause I'm short. One thing I didn't see in this video, was the host at 5'6" sitting on it at that desk. He kept mentioning he's short but doesn't sit on it and use it at the PC. They just sat on it and stared at the same pause screen. I would guess the desk height is 30" as is the majority of furniture. Their chairs only go to 20" height to top of seat. I have a desk that's 28" high and my chair needs to be 22" for my arms to be level with the tabletop, so I can make use of the extra large gaming mat to play shooters and other games comfortably. Don't know how any of their short or regular chairs are designed for short people because they didn't take height into consideration for ergonomics. Even both of his associates arms, even the first tall dude, had their arms pivoted on the elbows and not anywhere flush to the desk. The tall guy had 1" usage of the mouse pad from his seating position and you can see how distorted his hand and arm was using the keyboard and mouse, which means you'll scrape your arm on the edge of the desk trying to use the mouse and murder your hand and wrists using the keyboard too. You cannot game on a chair with your elbows only pressing on the armrest, that puts pressure on the Ulnar Nerve as well as stress on the wrist and forearm tendons. I know this from gaming for 30 years and using office setups not ergonomic that I started to have issues using cheap Office Max chairs too low for the cubicle setups that I had to get HR to do something about it. Another option is to buy a different gas cylinder that's taller to raise the chair but do not know with the design of the chair, if it would tip. Terrible design. My hunt for a comfortable chair continues I guess.
I've got a SecretLab Omega I've had for about 5 or 6 years now. Pretty similar but doesn't have the fancy lumbar support mechanism, just a removable lumbar cushion. Absolutely rock solid build quality. Had no issues with it. Pro tip, upgrade the castors to rollerblade castors for an even nicer experience. Everyone’s heard he’s fire from a friend or a colleague, bu no-one actually remembers who fired him. Colton spends his days appearing on random LTT videos, and people go along with it because he’s always been there, so they assume someone hired him back. But no-one did. By night he lives in the basement, subsiding on the tears of dislikers and unsubscribers, feasting till he is full and satisfied, only to re-emerge and start the cycle all over again. Some say it is he who places convenient merch in every location, so they are always in hand when needed.
The Titan Evo is HORRIBLE. Feels like sitting on cement. They will not even pay shipping back.. if you ever want to return this chair.. be prepared to pay a heafy price just to return it. im NOT happy with mine.
Well I have last year's model of this chair and I can right away, just by the video, see the improvements. So yeah.. planned obsolescence at it's finest (he says while ordering that one..)
I've had a 2020 model for almost a year and a half and I couldn't possibly recommend it more. Really helped my back pain while working from home and gaming.
I have the older version of this and really like it. The head pillow feels really nice, but is almost useless with the stap that tries to hold it to the chair, so the magnetic pillow would be great. Also the improved lumbar support and changeable armrests kind of makes me want to upgrade.
I really started to dislike every author promoting this chair . It's hard as rock wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I know - it shouldn't be to comfy and its good for your posture designed by specialists yada yada - not every chair is for everyone and this is definitely not for me when I feel the comfort and relief only when getting off from it. I have also discovered secretlabs return process is the worst ever - they try to discourage you from sending it back .asked me to unpack it to make photos (I have packed it straight away after receiving etc) and I had to exchange 10emails to get approval for return and address of return took about 1.5 week to get address .
I upgraded from my 2020 blue charcoal model to the 2022 version, and I absolutely dislike this chair. I've had to replace the backrest once, and both backrests are still producing annoying squeaks. My previous chair never had such problems and was much more comfortable. I regret getting rid of it, and I've decided not to purchase another Secret Lab chair. Next time, I'm considering a Herman Miller chair. You shouldn't have to buy a "kit" to make the chair less annoying.
@@GoddessLunaMoon true. But could make the same argument about Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Linus and Luke have ripped it apart during the WAN show too.

I do really like this guy here. He's totally cheer me up with his funny spontaneous words. Being relax during recording is not easy, but you both did it so well. Keep going and thanks bro! ~New fan from Malaysia
Just under two months old and the shock is NOT staying in preferred height position. I contacted the warranty department and after a week of communicating and them telling me I must disassemble the chair that takes tools I do not have, I still have a chair that will not function correctly, This was my second chair I purchased from this company. BUYER BEWARE!
Coming from a long term secret lab user the one issue you’ll likely run into is armrest wear. I’ve had the rubber crack/break off and was told by their customer service it’s considered “normal wear and tear” despite it happening within the first 6 months. Arm rests will eventually wear out as well causing them to rotate more freely.
How's the seat cushion compared to something like vertagear? I had a vertagear chair for a couple years and the seat cushion was not cushiony at all. Felt like sitting on hard leather after about an hour or so.
I have had my Titan almost 2 years. It's nice to see Secret Lab getting the love they deserve. I have seen channels like GN lump them in with all the Chinese chairs that are all clones of each other and NO Secret Lab chairs are worth every cent. They're built to handle LONG gaming sessions for years. ❤
@@wes_0110 Both the artificial leather and the Napa leather definitely does not peel. They are extremely high quality leathers. Source: I own a Titan 2020
@@wes_0110 Like to throw in that I have the Fabric version of the 2020 chair and it's still going strong. Fabric is showing no rips or tears or anything of the sort. The only issue I have, which they kinda fixed in the 2022 version, is the armrest is falling apart and really doesn't do much anymore. I say they "fixed" it because they made it easier to replace.
As someone who’s owned a Titan XL for 2 years almost to the day - these chairs are NOT comfortable for a big guy. I’m 6’6 bounce between 285-300lbs for the holidays lol. They even advertise it’s stiff and hard bc it will break in over time…it doesn’t break in…it will break but it will not break in comfort wise. The arm pad cracked horizontally within 3-4 months of owning it and just about a month ago the other one did also. Wide spread common issue with these and SecretLabs did send me new pads for free since it’s under warranty. Just a week ago I was leaning back pewdiepie style and the tilt mechanism broke and it was stuck in this crazy position. Turns out the cast aluminum frame cracked where the spring pushed against to give you the tilt function when you want to lean back. Not the reclining function but the actual tilt you can lock and unlock. To my surprise secret labs asked if I could separate the piston and base…I couldn’t without damaging the chair with a hammer so they just sent me everything from the parts that attach to the bottom cushion to the casters. Their customer support has been stellar in my experience but for a $600 chair I expected more comfort. I highly recommend you extend the warranty by posting your chair online for the free 3 year warranty that kicks in after the 2 year warranty expires.
I have a secret lab titan (though it's an XL and a year old now), and it's been totally worth the price for me. I actually took the arm rests back off after a while because I don't use them and they just got in the way, and I only use the pillow when I recline back. It's honestly the best office/gaming chair I've used
Both this chair and Genshin are terrible for consumers. They do very little different than any cheap gaming chair company, and the features are all gimmicks. You can buy a "used" Herman Miller Aeron chair for $450 and they are amazing. The autonomous chair at $350 is WAY better than this chair as well. Genshin Impact is one of the worst games available for greed, beating out the greed and shitty gameplay of almost all other F2P games. I'm sorry guys, I know you get sponsored, but you should not be recommending EITHER of these things to people. Its slimy.
I got mine and it seems that secret lab need to increase the quality of their chairs. Where the stapes are put through the fabric at the bottom of the chair there is a gigantic rip.
Been using the KDA Secretlabs chair this entire year, and my 100% honest opinion, it took a bit to get fully comfortable and tweaking all the things, but, it’s really nice. It costs a pretty penny, but for WFH or long computer sessions, I do recommend it.
Problem with chairs, at least for people like I that might want to work from home etc. Is that the material that cushion the rump tend to get "dented" into shape of yar bum. So that's my biggest fear whenever I choose a future chair. My current was fairly cheap at 100 but the very same chair is being sold now-adays at 250. I bought it before Covid so perhaps why *Shrug*

im NOT happy with mine.
Its been 3 weeks since you made this comment, if you still have this chair how is it now?

Colton: what do you sit on at home?
Jake: The floor

Great, now chairs have model years 1 year in the future, just like cars, w h y
Well I have last year's model of this chair and I can right away, just by the video, see the improvements. So yeah.. planned obsolescence at it's finest (he says while ordering that one..)
Shoutout to who ever edited this video, I can only imagine how much was cut from this LOL! Great vid!
Indeed, took me 1h building mine (alone)
According to the credits, the editor is "Plush and Supple"??
I've had a 2020 model for almost a year and a half and I couldn't possibly recommend it more. Really helped my back pain while working from home and gaming.
same here. I love my secretlabs model. No regrets!
I have the older version of this and really like it. The head pillow feels really nice, but is almost useless with the stap that tries to hold it to the chair, so the magnetic pillow would be great. Also the improved lumbar support and changeable armrests kind of makes me want to upgrade.
i could watch Dennis review anything! his presence genuinely makes me happy in these videos!
His reactions are so over the top lol
Amazed that they got Genshin Impact as sponsor 👍✨
Short Circuit: *Got sponsored by Genshin Impact*

Day 428 of Colton breaking in before the day starts: I secretly love this chair!!!
It's been awhile since we have seen Dennis, we need him on here more
I upgraded from my 2020 blue charcoal model to the 2022 version, and I absolutely dislike this chair.
Herman miller is equally overpriced
Genshin Impact sponsorship. Ig not a first considering you've done raid too.
at least genshin is actually a good game lmao
@@GoddessLunaMoon true. But could make the same argument about Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Linus and Luke have ripped it apart during the WAN show too.

Colton's broken Japanese is so funny lmao.
I don't blame him. Japanese is hard for people who aren't familiar with it. Especially English speakers, since Japanese is a phonetically consistent language.
Spending time to learn the rules of a language that you'll never use and still probably pronouncing words poorly is retarded, the Japanese know what's up and don't even bother.
*if you think you can sound like a native Japanese speaker you're dead wrong, you also need to know the tones of a word to a decent degree

I've had a Secret Labs chair for two years - very happy with it.
What happened after the two years? Did it start peeling off?
@@AlexRaptakis have mine for 2,5 years, zero peeling here. And apparantly there 2022 chairs have more durable leather than mine.
I personally like the NeueChair (owned by SecretLab) and it's miles better than any "gaming" chair.
Had mine for 2 years as well still looks and performs as new
No, it's pretty much as good as new. No sign of wear.
I love how Colton turned into a Secretlab salesman, hands behind his back and all. Just in case LMG lets him go for real haha.
I've been using the 2020 model and love it. It's handled daily use very well. I just wish it had the vertical lumbar adjustment like the 2022 model does. That magnetic pillow is awesome too.
I like the strap pillow because you can take it on planes or in the car for road trips
I love how the gaming test is just sitting on the chair
I have no idea why I'm watching these chair videos, I'm never gonna buy these 🤦♂️
Due to Bidenomics, the chair is now closer to $800.😂
Coming from a long term secret lab user the one issue you’ll likely run into is armrest wear.
@@soulreaperx7x It’s decent but after a year and a half it’s worn out,
@@BrandonWestfall Dang a year and a half and already worn out? I'll look elsewhere for a good chair then lol.
@@soulreaperx7x Yeah…I’m going with a Herman Miller Aeron.
@@BrandonWestfall I looked at those and liked them but man are they pricey.
I literally JUST ordered a titan, this watching experience felt very validating, thank you.
Hey how was your experience I just purchased one myself and anxious as to how it’ll be in person
do you still like the secretlabs chair?
I have had my Titan almost 2 years. It's nice to see Secret Lab getting the love they deserve. I have seen channels like GN lump them in with all the Chinese chairs that are all clones of each other and NO Secret Lab chairs are worth every cent. They're built to handle LONG gaming sessions for years. ❤
Did u get the PU leather version. Does the PU leather peel over time?
@@wes_0110 Both the artificial leather and the Napa leather definitely does not peel. They are extremely high quality leathers.
Source: I own a Titan 2020
@@wes_0110 Like to throw in that I have the Fabric version of the 2020 chair and it's still going strong. Fabric is showing no rips or tears or anything of the sort. The only issue I have, which they kinda fixed in the 2022 version, is the armrest is falling apart and really doesn't do much anymore. I say they "fixed" it because they made it easier to replace.
@@The_Real_Frisbee The backrest part looks quite straight/rigid. Is it hard or deceptively comfortable?
@@quintincoetzee It's a mix of both. It's hard enough to support you but it isn't too hard so you can still lean back in it and be comfortable.
It's honestly the best office/gaming chair I've used
You should've invested in a treadmill instead, Mr "XL"
@@YakubTheScientist8841you should have invested in good manners😂
Both this chair and Genshin are terrible for consumers. They do very little different than any cheap gaming chair company, and the features are all gimmicks. You can buy a "used" Herman Miller Aeron chair for $450 and they are amazing. The autonomous chair at $350 is WAY better than this chair as well.
Genshin Impact is one of the worst games available for greed, beating out the greed and shitty gameplay of almost all other F2P games.
I'm sorry guys, I know you get sponsored, but you should not be recommending EITHER of these things to people. Its slimy.
Colton makes me feel tall!!
Colton reminds me just how short I am because he is still 3 inches taller than me
@@driveby2892 W're the same height, which apparently also makes me the same height as Linus. When he isn't wearing socks and sandals of course.
they make very nice chairs, i've the house of Stark from GoT chair its really nice best investment of last year xD
Wait Dennis banished you to doing gaming chair reviews and Linus fired you
You guys should review the autonomous ergochair pro (2)
I prefer office chairs
I usually do!
They are basically the same and cost way less.
Okay after watching this video, definitely convinced me to get one!
Good luck. I heard this new series is amazing. Nothing but compliments about it.
Well it has to better then the staples office chair I have right?
I have a 2020 omega secret labs chair. Very solid. The pillows are absolutely amazing.
Don’t sleep on the Secret lab chairs they are amazing no need to spend over 1k on a good chair I have one and it’s the best thing ever
I been skip Genshin Impact ads on youtube all the time. Here am I, laughing at Colton dying a little inside reading the ads script.
