      If I had a dollar for each time I read a comment like your's I'd be a wealthy woman. Robert Stack had/has a strong following from this series. I think it has a lot to do with nostalgia.
      I like the show, but not to the extent most of you guys do. My memories of him are from "The Untouchables."

      No, it's not you. Under the influence of entertainments like TftC, Tim Burton's "Batman," and many others, the '90s had a kind of obsession with darkness, and nowhere is it more obvious than on this show. In fact, this show was probably one of the first to start the trend, having come about much earlier.

      Update on Todd Mueller:
      Captured. On December 19, 1991, Mueller was arrested on fraud charges in New Jersey under the alias "Kenneth Maxwell". He was arrested after he used a stolen embossing machine to make fake American Express cards and gamble with them in New Jersey. He was then placed in a New York jail to await trial. FBI agents recognized him from the broadcast and positively identified "Maxwell" as Mueller.
      Mueller's real name was later determined to be David Livingston. While awaiting trial on the New Jersey fraud charges, he impersonated an Assistant United States Attorney and unsuccessfully attempted to escape from federal custody. In October 1992, he pleaded guilty to the New Jersey charges and was sentenced to eighteen months in prison. In July 1993, he pleaded guilty to charges of attempted escape and impersonation of a federal officer. He was sentenced to three years in prison. He was later sentenced to eleven years and two months for other crimes. He served his time and was released from prison in October 1999.
      Just a few months later, in March 2000, Livingston was arrested again, charged with defrauding a Japanese businessman. In December, he was convicted of those charges and sentenced to eleven years in prison. In April 2008, he pleaded guilty to violating his supervised release and was sentenced to four years in prison. He was released from federal custody in July 2015.

    I think Chad was definitely involved in drugs. Just because he was also a "good all American boy" doesn't mean he wasn't also into drugs. To me, it's the only explanation as to why he was there in the first place. I definitely think he met with foul play, but it was over drugs. No drugs in his system just means he didn't partake, but it doesn't mean he wasn't a drug runner. A clean cut, blonde boy from a nice suburb is an excellent and unspicuous drug runner. Sadly, I dont think they will ever convict anyone of his murder.

    • @Cheriwrites75
      @Cheriwrites75 4 года назад +17

      That's a possibility, since he was looking to earn money for college. Except if he was running drugs, he either wasn't good at it or that was his first time since no money or bank account flush with cash was found after his death.
      Another possibility is that, because he was looking to earn money for college, he was duped into helping someone and that went south which resulted in his death. Could be drug related, could have been a friend of his that was into drugs. Could have been a number of things.
      The sad thing is that we probably won't know, since the initial investigation was so absurdly botched and so much time has passed since.

I've been in that position and I didn't want my family to know. At any rate, Lorraine is obviously mentally ill. This is no insult to her, as at that time there weren't treatments like we have now. While the music the creators used and Mr Robert Stack's distinctive voice(May he rest in peace). It's a better look than the Davey Crockett hat hair, shaved around the sides and grow the rest into a stupid poney tail. That's pretty out dated and so 90's as well, yet it had made a comeback. Most O ever knew that had mullets were women anyway. Women who acted liked men usually.

    I'm no detective, but my first question would be "who's fucking garage did Chad die in?"

      It was in a public housing complex so technically it belonged to the city. The question that should have been investigated was who had access to it.

    It's tragic she lost her son, but when she said I hardly slept at all... Then she said, "I got five hours of sleep..." I was like, that's more than some people get!
