This band and this song is very special to me, One of my best friends would at about 6:30in the morning on the way to work while I was still half asleep and not in the mood for his antics, as he had major A.D.H.D. and would be bouncing all over the car just to get a rise out of me, would do anything for me to get to talk to him or just wake up, as I wasn't an early bird, not by a long shot, so he would torment me anyway he could, just to get a laugh out of me, but being in L.A. traffic was bad enough, and he finally would try turning the radio on, which I would immediately turn off so we played that game for awhile, he turn it on I turn it off after about 30 minutes of this he would finally put in Metal Church knowing that I would have no choice anymore, this was the mid 80s ,and before you know, you had 2 nuts rocking our heads together with the music, I thank you Metal Church for your music you help me keep my best friend of 40 years alive every time I play your music, Tony turned me on to you guys, but I lost him to colon cancer back in 2017,in his typical way I called him one day, and he answered first thing out of his mouth "well you know im dying "and im like what are you talking about " "ya I've got 6 months to live " like it was nothing he took life and death the way it came, I miss that little innocent son of a bitch my best friend Tony Labarbra, I sure he's somewhere cranking M.C. and driving someone else crazy, God bless him, Love you Brother, Leo
It's incredible! The seem voice of 80's times..!! I have all discography about Metal Church , and my idol was Kirk Arrington ; my favorite drummer! Still Metal Church for ever! The source of ideas for many current bands!!

The lines after "Out of the crypt with faces marred" are hard to understand. I assume he says, "We unite as one" for the next line, but I have NO idea what the line after that could be. No lyrics website has this correct from what I've seen, but they also usually just copy lyrics from one site to the next anyway, even when they're wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
