well its a filler MH game, and it was supposed to be for Switch to have their own MH game since MH worlds was for every other platform. Switch isnt a big system console. so they arent going to focus on a game thats slightly smaller or not going to last long. but since WIlds is there big project itll def get alot of collabs

They will want to announce to a larger audience, like they did with the Game Awards at the very end... they will do their own reveals, just as they have done in the past too... The point in advertising to reach as many people as possible, once everyone is tuned into it, we will get Capcom's drips and drabs teases via Social Media, and then get an announcement date for more to come...

Meaning that is a collab you can play inside FFVII, not a collab for the MH games, pity.
But based on past MH collabs, it's likely we'll see some FF stuff in Monster Hunter. They'll probably wait for Wilds for the collab though

I'm just Thankful that Capcom is taking Monster Hunter very serious, which means we as fans will get great games.
This video makes me eager to see what kind of collaborations MH Wilds is about to get already to be honest.
Technically we DO have a weapon type that's similar to gauntlet, which is daggers. (particualrly, some dagger skins remove the daggers entirely, though a close competitor to that is S&S which did the same for the SF collab)

Berserk X Monster Hunter Wilds (Guts armor and GS)
Wild Hearts X Monster Hunter Wilds (flagship deathstalker weapons and armor)
Final Fantasy 7 remake X Monster Hunter Wilds (a story quest with cloud and the crew similar to the witcher in MH World along with an actual event maybe Bahamut. Could include cloud’s buster sword “GS”, sephiroth weapon “LS”seikret chocobo layered armor and palico moogle layered armor… the possibilites are endless)
My guesses could be:
1. Metal Gear Solid- being as it’s had a monster hunter collab before and Konami is coming out with a new game. Capcom and Konami are partnered together too so it’s not far off to happen.
2.Exo Primal- it’s a capcom game so it’s an obvious candidate and they have plenty of special Dino’s they could probably add in and skins they can add for your character.
3. Obvious candidates like street fighter and mega man (there’s a skin in every game)
4. I’m hoping for either an elden ring or god of war since there’s plenty of creatures they can implement perfectly.

Collabs I hope for MH Wilds:

I still think MH needs to have a Predator collab, a Hunter hunting a Monster that is in and of itself a Hunter would just be way too cool
I would love to see a Fire Emblem crossover with Monster Hunter. But the one crossover that I want to see in Wilds, considering he’s been crossing over with other games, give me a Godzilla crossover!!!
Fire Emblem actually does have a collaboration with Monster Hunter. In Monster Hunter Generations, you could dress up your hunter as Marth.

Rathalos gear in Dragon's Dogma 2 would be awesome. Then have a Sphinx to fight in MHW.

I’d love to see a Berserk x Monster Hunter collab personally. Give me the Dragonslayer layered weapon, and the Berserker Armor layered armor. Also find a way to throw in stuff from Griffith, Casca, and maybe Puck as a palico even though Puck is tiny.

I was like, "Oh snap, are they changing thier minds and opening up collabs again in World?" Turns out its just FFVII which isn't bad, I might actually pick up the game then.
I would KILL for a GOW Collab. I was DYING for it in MHW, I would DIE for it in Wilds LMAO.
Imagine, if you will, a Leviathan Switchax (more than likely would be a Sword & Shield with Kratos' pop-open shield). Or a Blades of Chaos Duel Blades.

Ain't gonna lie. I want a Monster Hunter crossover DD2 (hopefully in the future or in Wilds) big miss opportunity if it doesn't happen. God of War and Monster Hunter crossover. God of War and DD2 crossover. FF7/FF16 and Monster Hunter crossover in Wilds. But just wishful thinking. Lol

Even though I’m thoroughly done with Destiny 2, I think that would be a cool collaboration. Bowgun that look like famous Destiny weapons, swords and now even glaives.
Plus a Destiny hunter, Titan and warlock set would look awesome.

hopefully they do add a new collab with DMC5 and it would be cool to see the Wyrm from Dragons Dogma. they added the Leshen with the Witcher collab which added a humanoid-like monster, would be cool if they did something with Castlevania. Finally they did a cross over with MGS: Peace Walker i hope they add something from Metal Gear

if they make a JJK collab they NEED to give bow users Sukuna's Flame (fire) and Dual blades need to be Black Flash (Dragon).

Sure they do everything now but we all know it’s to copy Fortnite’s style. But Fortnite actually has the zero point (I think it was called that, the thing that allows all universes to be canon in Fortnite) written into lore unlike CoD which is.. well just a shop.
MH is far beyond that because they release the cool stuff for free

2 things 1. crazy that a crossover has a better greatsword then mhw did truly a decision of all time. 2 if in wilds there is some crazy off the walls armour that comes with the quest that warps the game im gonna tweak out

AOT x MH. And hunters can only use Insect Glaive and Dual Blades. And wire bugs are more usable. Have a special hunt of fighting all the different main titans.
A cool crossover would be a Berserk crossover, zodd for a hunt, black swordsman and berserker armour, dragonslayer for great sword
You are reaching here. Mobile collabs have way more ability to do collabs than main titles.
Genshin impact or soul Calibur and at this point I'm just kind of name stuff that I like berserker the anime cool sword and the best-looking armor you may ever really see in a video game and I was thinking dragon Ball z this is basically the father anime but I don't really see what you can make out of it you could make a really armor set out of Omega shenron or regular shenron put this anime would work better in this game if they had a melee type weapon and only then would it make more sense

The Witcher collab I worlds was peak. Also the horizon zero dawn layered armor was my favourite of all time 👌
But if I had to start with one that would be Naruto give me his kurama cloak transformation as a armor set and it would be mainly based on attack in speed and the boss that I would like for this who would be kurama now he have two forms of very strong moves that would be the regular one shot one KO move tail beast bomb and the other one would be the same but instead is a smaller version that shoot multiple of them like a machine gun in different directions but of course this would be a lot weaker just something to hit the area if you got a better idea please let me know
It is bit annoying that all the good collabs in general are going to mobile game spinoff. I wished VII Rebirth, Rise or just all mainline series from both franchises had this collab instead.
Godzilla will be a really good one the only thing I really want out of that is just a really good army looking set an Godzilla being one of the creatures in a game like it's only a certain time that he will be there are he randomly shows up and you have plenty of time to beat him but if you do a really quick you can get the armor set
Hear me out the main reason I say so is because they have a lot to do with swords and specifically Powers through that sword in monster Hunter world already got a bunch of elephants and in bleach the anime they have a bunch of powers that requires a sword in order to use it and some of them element based powers
And I thought of another one Naruto all the tailed beasts either one of them would be good obviously the favorite would be kurama second killer bee and the third one could be the two tails and you probably can get Naruto as a armor set the clothes would be better than the actual character model or tail beast armor will be pretty good and just like many of the beast in monster Hunter world the ultimate attack would be a tail beast bomb obviously you would have to get out of the way of it
Behemoth being back would be nice, it was a interesting fight, but imagine the other monsters they could add like a jenova fight

Nah, there are plenty of dual blades that are just fists for looks. Plus the design of the gauntlets are a direct match for the kirin DB's
