- Today we’re discussing several parenting influencers who have jumped into giving advice on how to teach kids about Pride Month. We respond to some of the things they've said regarding Pride and give you some encouragement and advice in response. One of these accounts is Dr. Becky’s "Good Inside;" she recently posted about how to encourage your kids to accept openness and tolerance in relation to Pride. We explain why we shouldn’t be teaching our kids to be open to and tolerant of everything and why it's important for kids to orient themselves according to the truth of the world. We talk about the danger and stupidity of the phrase “love is love” and look at a Parents magazine article on going along with your child’s “coming out.” Then we talk about "Big Little Feelings," another parenting influencer who posted before Pride Month, pushing the propaganda that your child will commit self-harm if you don't allow them to submit to gender ideology. This goes hand in hand with the Trevor Project's bizarre "data" on young people and "lifesaving" hormones that doesn't seem to be founded in reality.

Gosh, I can't even imagine how my son's life might have turned out if I had thought he wanted to be a girl when he was a toddler. He has two older sisters, and he's never been a rough and tumble boy. He always wanted his nails painted, to sit and play with dolls, and he always had girl friends in the neighborhood and in school up until about second grade. I did see everything on social media, and I was so worried about him, but now he's 12, and he wants nothing to do with "girly" things. If I had been a different person with a secular worldview, his life might look so different with a ton of regret. What a world we live in!
Totally. And I have 4 girls who have never painted their nails or even wanted to. My point is your son was just copying his siblings. It wasn't a big deal.

I am a woman and I dont even think that I should be proud to be one. That is just what God decided me to be. I didnt do nothing to be one. I can be proud to be a woman of character, a good mom, a god employee, a wife, etc. I might be a little off but that is the way I see it.
This was so good! Humans aren’t inherently good. Children need to be taught in black and white although the world is full of nuance because it’s easier to grasp. And LOVE IS NOT LOVE. GOD IS LOVE. I definitely need to save this video.
I wasnt raised with tons of boundaries and was allowed to watch and listen to pretty much everything. It was very confusing growing up... now I'm expecting my first child and really praying I can guide her to know the truth and the Lord and to show her propper boundaries.

Exactly. I've always thought that the expression "love is love" is a great insult to God. How can any kind of love compare to the love He showed us when he sent Jesus - a man who did nothing wrong himself - to die one of the most excruciatingly painful and brutal deaths imaginable in order to give us a new life?

Unfollowed these accounts when the gentle parenting thing got out of hand. I’m not my kids friend. I’m their parent I’m not surprised they would take this avenue and promote this ideology. Shame on them
I used to follow their Instagram. I stopped a couple of months ago when some of their “gentle parenting” advice just didn’t rub me the right way. But this doesn’t surprise me about them.

I stopped following the RV traveling family on utube “try something new” because they let their daughter transition to a boy. I was so heartbroken & sad, and mortified knowing that it’s not due to being in public school, because they pride on being unschooled. I just couldn’t watch it anymore. Thank you for commenting on this topic. Moms are reading this propaganda and are being seriously misled.

Thank you for this. My husband and I are in the middle of our family blocking us and unfriending us on Facebook because of a pride post and how inappropriate for kids those events can be. We have to be bold. It’s sad and it hurts, but I think our silence has encouraged so much in our society. I will no longer be silenced for my beliefs.

I have too many thoughts, but I keep going back to my Mom telling me when I was only 5 that "You are old enough to start praying". She was only 26 and a new Christian then, so we did a lot of growing together.
She also taught me, always with actions and words, not to follow trends. Even in fashion, which might seem off topic, but I was never ... the social contagion for my generation? "Gen X", especially in my part of the country, was suicide. And we were pre internet, so I can literally only imagine how hard it is for young people who have NEVER been told "You are loved unconditionally by the Creator & Redeemer of the world. And He really wants you to talk to Him!" - how hard it must be without that foundation to say "No" to strangers on the internet giving them praise and lying to them - "All you need is to be trans! Life will be great!"
This won't stop happening to children, teens, anyone until they realize the God Shaped hole they're trying to fill can only be filled with God, with His Truth. Beautiful, unchanging Truth.
So I encourage everyone, find a way to, if you know God, if you have a relationship with Jesus? Tell that good news. We hear so many heartbreaking stories every day and think our country is ruined or just give up.... that's not an option. The world is really hurting. And all they're offered is a pill or change your gender. But they desperately need to know how loved they are by God. Start there, and it's less overwhelming. And never stop seeing people as people Jesus died for. So we can at the very least pray daily for them. ♥️ Share the Truth, even with one person. That would be a wonderful thing to spread around.

I don’t know how anyone who is intelligent and knowledgeable can seriously believe that everyone is good inside. They do not live in the real world. I believe that they say this as a denial strategy that makes them feel safe so they can prevent themselves from feeling anxious.

I was so shocked the other day with posts I saw on Facebook from one women I know from a previous company I worked at. She posted on a public community page her prayer where she asks the community to pray for our children and pray against the "spirit of depression" as well as to protect them from crime. "So what's wrong with that?" you may ask. Her next post was "Happy Pride Month" fully covered in LGBTQ+ colour flags. So I openly criticised her on her post asking her why she supports a lifestyle that destroys the lives of children, while on the other hand expects God to protect them against depression? Comment got deleted, got no reply. She did however not unfriend me, so that is a bit strange.
Jesus said, that those who are actually His know His voice, and a strangers voice they will not hear. You told her biblical truth and she rejected it. There is a good chance that she probably doesn't belong to the LORD. Time will tell. If she doesn't repent and then makes excuses for her sin, or ignores the correction, then that tells you all you need to know. Know them by their fruit/deeds/actions. The biblical Pharisees were called "hypocrites/play actors" for a reason. Stop just blindly believing them when someone claims to be a Christian, test the spirit to see whether or not it is of God, Jesus told us to do this. Faith produces godly actions. Faith without works is dead. I will show you my faith by my works. If you belong to Jesus, then you will hear His voice and DO what he commands. It is that simple.
The church is ignoring biblical DISCERNMENT. The bible does give many warnings that constantly get ignored. Jesus said, if you do not understand the parable of the sower of the seed, then how can you understand the rest of them. Most claiming that Jesus is their LORD were never His to begin with. Why do you call Him LORD LORD, but do not do the things that He tells you to do, or to stop doing? Hypocrites practice lawlessness, and not righteousness. Again, know them by their fruit. If they wander and do not receive the discipline of the LORD, then they are an illegitimate child and never belonged to Him, according to the scriptures They are play actors, who only pretend in order to get the praises of men, for selfish reasons. Funny, how so many so-called "churches" ignore teaching these things contained within the scriptures.
A good study on this principle is the contrast between King Saul and King David. Both sinned against God. However, they responded differently. David responded with faith, he mourned and turned away from the sin and did not go back to it. Saul just made "sorry" statements, but his actions showed that he really did not mean it because he kept going back to it in unbelief. Saul also made excuses for his sin, while David fully acknowledged that he had sinned against God, and he made NO excuses for it. David even wrote an entire psalm on how miserable he was after that sin. A true believer can't be comfortable in sin because the Holy Spirit dwells with them and fights against the flesh. Saul easily went back to sin again, and again....(no Holy Spirit). He claimed that he had sinned, but he did not turn away from it. He was a hearer only of the word, but not a doer.
The bible is telling you HOW to DISCERN. However, you need to read it all yourself in order to get that information. Unfortunately, most rely on teachers telling them what they bible says, instead of reading it all themselves and testing those teachers against the scriptures. We all need to not just be hearers of the word, but be doers, lest you will deceive yourself. Selah-pause and think on those things.
The fact that she did not unfriend you is really not that strange. She is putting on an act of compassion, that really isn't true compassion and love. The fact she did not unfriend you is to make it look like she is such a good person to others. People who do these things love the praise of men, for selfish reasons and the scriptures explain this to us. She is already posing to the gay community that she is such a "nice" person. She is still posing by not unfriending you. It is all an act. Hypocrite in the Greek means play actor. That is what Jesus meant by calling the religious leaders hypocrites. He was saying they were fake believers.
The scriptures give lots of examples of situations we deal with in everyday life. Man has not changed, there is nothing new under the sun. Pay attention to what God says, and HOW people RESPOND to it. There is a lot of life lessons there to be had. The bible is filled with wisdom. Even in the Old Testament. God is still the same yesterday, today, and forever. People are still the same too. It is the same sinful heart since the garden of Eden. Belief and unbelief are the same too. As you read the scriptures, pay attention to what people say and do as God speaks to them.

Minor children experiencing gender dysphoria risk permanent disfigurement and lifelong health care issues from medical professionals who perform medical treatments to modify their natural gender. Minor children are prescribed puberty-blocking drugs, cross-sex hormone therapies, and are subjected to mutilating surgeries. These procedures carry extreme consequences for children, as their effects range from bone density problems to fertility issues.
Gender dysphoria is a mental health condition that often resolves itself, yet parents are being told by medical professionals that unless permanent, physically altering treatments are received, a child is more likely to commit suicide. Health care providers who prescribe or perform many of these medical treatments are maiming children for life, and unfortunately, the suicide rate for these surgical and drug treatment patients remains extremely high.
Studies show that up to 94 percent of childhood gender dysphoria cases are alleviated by puberty or otherwise resolve on their own. Medical care professionals should not be allowed to apply permanent, non-reversible treatment for a condition that so often resolves with time. The responsible medical community agrees that these treatments and surgeries are harmful and are not a solution to the problem of dysphoria.
Financial gain is a motivating factor for the growth of transgender treatments. A representative of Vanderbilt University Medical Center sold the idea of opening a transgender clinic because of the potential revenue. "Bottom surgeries are a huge money maker," she said. "There are entire clinics that are supported by phalloplasties, and that's just a fraction of the surgeries that they are doing."

During pregnancy we have an increase of horomones and blood flow which aids the scalp in healthy hair growth & holding onto what it already has, essentially putting a hold on the telogen phase (hair shedding) so that very few hairs (if any) shed during those nine months. Hair is thicker, shinier, and stronger as a result. Nails too. I loved my pregnancy hair and nails! The down side is that around three months post partum, horomones drop and the scalp sheds all the hair that it didn't shed during those nine months in pregnancy ( PLUS some). When it happens, the amount of hair that comes out is remarkable and can be very alarming if you aren't expecting it or haven't experienced it with past pregnancies. A lot of women fear they will go bald during post partum shedding because the process can be relentless. The good news is that most of the time it's temporary, just like that glorious non-shedding phase was. I'm at the tail end of my pp hair shedding, thank goodness. It got scary there for a minute. My nails are still brittle and I probably won't have the hair and nails I had before pregnancy til about a year post partum.
