@@joshuataylor3550 Actually we don't have good numbers for what the actual suicide number is or what the actual de transition number is. The "studies" often quoted are small, poorly followed up, and only focus on the U.S. One study just notes when people don't respond to calls for follow up. It does not look into what happened to the don't respond category - such as death. The Cass Report. From the UK. Which is one of the more extensive and better researched suggests that for a good many children medical transition likely does not improve outcome. It is fascinating that trans people are telling you something isn't working well and you are arguing,

    • @kelkabot
      @kelkabot 5 месяцев назад +2

Joshua, there’s no way to track those numbers in any reliable way, because there are so many issues swimming around the affliction of gender dysphoria that it’s impossible to tell what causes what. Sure, there are people out there who spin numbers and use stats to shape a certain narrative, but the best we can tell is that there’s a correlation between gender dysphoria and mental illness and suicide. Causality is much more difficult to nail down.

@@joshuataylor3550 Even if the trans identifying community has a higher rate of suicide we do not know if that is from transitioning or not transitioning. The high suicide rate could be from other variables. There is a notably high rate of trans identified folks with high ACES scores. And the fast track to transition means most are not getting good therapy to make sure things like trauma are being addressed. Folks with high ACES (adverse childhood events) are statistically proven to have higher rates of early death, poverty, incarceration, and the list goes on. And once again, the Cass report shows that medical transition for young children does not really improve outcome. So no, it is not reasonable to say that disaffirming trans identity causes suicide.

I lived as a transman ages 14-28. I detransitioned a year ago. Medical complications made detransition extremely difficult, but I am endlessly grateful that I was healed in a very deep way and liberated from a disorder that makes your life absolute hell. For those of us who actually had this condition, transgenderism, it was the worst physical torture and I would not wish it on my worst enemies. It's absolutely delusional and CRUEL to try pushing people into this condition- which will either be totally artificial because they don't legitimately have transgenderism, or will be a deeper hell by entrenching them in a disorder that did not happen naturally.

Hello! Blessings! Please, I am profound prayers for my youngest daughter, she's 18 years of age and she struggles with the spirit of confusion! She had some things happen to her when she was a very young child and she's been having some battles with thinking it's ok to feel like a boy! I've had talks with her and I have her always in my prayers, etc. I beg God for Mercy upon and within her! And I ask mama Mary for her Great Intercesion for my youngest child. And the rest of my children of course.
Please, pray for her conversion and forgiveness, physically and spiritually. Amen! Thank you! I pray for ya'll as well!

Hi, I'll pray. I know some one in a similar state, her father walked the Paris Chartres pilgrimage with me and gave away these prayer cards:
"Holy Saint Joan, compassionate to the sick and wounded, who, while on earth, nurses so many back to health,
      hear me.
Daughter of God, wounded many times in battle, who wished to see no one injured or in discomfort, I petition you for healing those who fell prey to transgenderism
so that they can overcome - and live to fight against - this great evil. Help them to value their God given bodies.
Help them and their families to unite in truth.
      Intercede for them.
It may not be in God's will for their bodies to be healed, for their suffering may help another or their own soul.
If my request for physical recovery is not granted, let them be healed emotionally and spiritually
THAT THEIR MARK OF SHAME MAY HEAL AS WOUNDS OF WAR IN THIS BATTLE FOR GODS KINGDOM. AMEN
... ST JOAN OF ARC, PRAY FOR US (ORA PRO NOBIS)...

I was also a tomboy growing up (still am honestly) who played tons of sports and worked out, was on Xbox Live every second day, mostly had male friends and had no interest in makeup or pink, which I still don't really care for. I'm so happy I grew up with my Catholic parents who believe in two genders and that this "trans kid" nonsense didn't exist when I was young. This was such a heavy testimony. Looking from the outside in to those that are transitioning it’s so easy to call them crazy, that we forget that these are individual human beings going through hell and trying to find a solution which is transgenderism. I cried many times listening to Chole, many times I wanted to be able to give her a hug, she was just a child when all of this happened to her. I also felt so frustrated to all the adults who took advantage of her and her parents, her classmates and the media. I definitely want to pray for all those that suffer through this and especially for Chole, that our Lord continues to heal her and help her as she speaks for justice.

Where do you live? It not the same throughout the world much less in the US. Many areas in the US are still standing well against the lgbtetc movement. It seems to me the political left and some on the right would love for people not to know this is the case. I do not know why but a large part of the wealthier areas plus many colleges and universities have fully embraced this in the US. There are people unfortunately in some areas that may go too far the other way and hate them which would be equally as wrong as embrace it. There are many locations out of the West that are still well opposed to these ideas, often too far potentially. There are many typical allies of the West who over this issue and over West's rejection of fossil fuels are starting to look more favorably towards the China and Russia bloc.

I understand the anger wholeheartedly- I used to think I was trans as well. For clarity, I am still pro-trans, but I just happened to lean into a state where I do not think transition is a necessity for me.
However, attempting to criminalize transition will only make it worse. The upcoming generation is more pro-trans, and will only be enraged by the fact that you are denying people what is, in their eyes, a medical necessity. Obviously no one is gonna want peoppe to be denied medically necessary procedures, and since they do have an argument for that (regardless of how well it holds), their anger is going to very easily turn into pro-trans legislation, and if you go too far, legislation against anti-trans ideals as well (such as further hate speech laws).
Tldr; be very careful on how you approach trying to get rid of transitioning.

Let her know you love her however she'll let you. My brother and I know there are certain things we will never see eye to eye on, but he also knows he can call me when he's sick or needs help and I'll be there. We try to talk about things that we share in common, and leave the rest.
If there's interests/hobbies outside of her "rainbow" status, share things with her about them. Text her "thinking of you" with no strings attached.

My husband hit puberty a bit earlier than his peers and he had a hard time being so much bigger than everyone (he was 6' in middle school...6'3 now). His mom had to bring his birth certificate to his games because coaches on the other team would insist he was older and cheating. Our son will be 1 in a few weeks and he's off the charts in height and weight (about to grow out of 18 mo clothes). We go to the park and he still doesn't walk so he's crawling around, cruising, etc visibly bigger than many of the toddlers running around. I remember at church so many people commenting how well behaved he was at like 3/4 months old in the baby carrier then my mom was like they probably think he's 6/8 months old. I think it's hard to be different regardless but feel for Chloe who didn't have the support needed. Your line of questioning flows with profound goodwill never having to avoid the most difficult and relevant aspects of the subject on the table. BTW, you were utterly amazing in your interview of J Peterson; it appeared extremely difficult yet you emanated grace and chose not to dominate but rather facilitated and drew out ideas to examine. Your skills to achieve the highest value in an interview are nothing less than stellar!
Today, May God bless beautiful Cloe Cole! She offers very helpful insights into a wide range of issues related to the main subject. Telling bravely her personal story, she sheds light on the horror that gender dysphoria causes the sufferer only to be exacerbated by doctors and their fast moving proces. Their methods lead a patient into so called "therapies" which often change a child's life permanently--and not for the best. Children seem to be treated as the new lab rat without any humanity applied to the real struggle they are facing clinically and personally. This was the best and most informative interview of this young lady to date. Thank you! ❤

Chloe is honest enough to admit she made a huge mistake. Will it cut through all the hype and BS? Her parents aren't totally to blame. They were out of their depth. Chloe had too many different therapists who lost the thread of her feedback, the psychological profile that she was trying to present to them. The therapists weren't successful in unravelling Chloe's self deception. The therapists, her family and doctors were too eager to "please" Chloe, to support the false narrative from all quarters: media, LGBTQ community, school, peer group, medical profession. Difficult to resist that onslaught.

@NotablySped the same thing that is happening everywhere. We need more priests. We need more evangelism. The Catholic population in montana has been steadily declining here for years.

We went from normalizing just accepting people that don't fit gender norms to saying the only solution was to change your gender.

God bless. The devil is the father of lies, and I too fell for the transgender trick before I was saved by good friends and the love of Jesus Christ. Never be afraid to speak out against this evil.

The strength and hope she demonstrates in recounting her struggle are profound. I admire her a great deal for shedding light on her experiences. I pray that she blesses many with her insights and helps to turn the tide against the evil perpetrated on so many children. I am so grateful for this interview.

Folks with teens dealing with the phone issue, Gab phones are the way to go. Lots of appropriate apps and texting, nice camera, just no internet. I have a 17 and 15 year old who are totally happy with their Gab phones.

It’s tragic that those who have been taken into the cult of gender ideology want desperately to silence people like her and anyone else who talks negatively about ‘transitioning’. The anger they feel about being confronted with the truth is why they will lash out at anyone who speaks it. We must pray for healing for all victims of this ideology, including the ones who are still running from truth.

I am so happy at how blessed you have been through such an immense struggle. You learned the hard way, I’m weeping for your younger self, blockers…immediate menopause, some 50 year old women with life experience can barely get through it alive, it is a thing. I had breast cancer with surgery, a double mastectomy at that age, I cannot even…you are amazing!!!! God bless you with strength, courage and perseverance.

I really feel for Chloe's parents. I had a trans friend in high school, and their mom was at a loss and she just wanted to love her kid. She was firm that even with a social transition, my friend wouldn't have surgery before 18. Even though my friend eventually had surgery, I'm so glad that their mom did what she could as long as she could to protect her kid from a situation like this. My friend's mom never wanted to have her kid go through this struggle, but she would do anything for her kid.
