    I don’t see it as a boycott. There was no organization…it was just an organic rejection. People viscerally didn’t want to participate in that insanity. That is the only reason I still have a sliver of hope.

      @Cannibal Holocaust No, not always. I remember the very first time I saw D*lan (censored for YT) I was disgusted with the way he was using Womanface, the same way some guys used to use Blackface. So seeing him linked to any products, causes me to viscerally associate those products with the misogynistic act of Womanface, and I won't buy them.
      I'm a real woman and I have a very long memory (a curse, since I had some horrific childhood experiences) and even if no one else was boycotting Anheuser Busch, Nike, etc., I wouldn't be buying those things.
      It can be organic, for people to reject a product.

      I am even more cynical than James lindsay and budlight. And why the boycott of the brands parent company had the woke left reeling and fighting back 😂😂😂
      Budlight VP of marketing at that time said in her interview that Bud Light was a failing brand!
      I believe that Ann Brusche (the parent company CEO and board realised they had to increase their ESR score. So they were willing to partner Budlight with Dylan Mulvaney expecting the republican public to only boycott Budlight and leave their other successful brands online. What has literally screwed them and the woke left is that the republicans have boycotted Anne Busche. And if this boycott is successful then other companies will take notice! Which is why when people boycott a brand 🤔 they must also boycott the parent company if they can, only then perhaps this nonsense Will stop! I am most probably wrong on this though

    As someone who was sexually abused growing up I can tell you that I "gave my consent" but it was STILL such a traumatic experience that I completely blocked out these memories and did not recover them until I was 16 years old. It was horrifying to me that it had happened. I've suffered from it my entire adult life. KIDS ARE NOT MEANT TO BE SEXUAL! PERIOD!
    Edit: I know children can NOT consent. Rather they are manipulated and tricked into the abuse. That was the point I was trying to make. If this was true consent (like some people think children are capable of) I would have not had such a severe trauma response, and it wouldn't have impacted me the way it did.

I was just sitting alone in my room one day and the memory of it came to me in an instant. I hope you find your healing. It's very hard. I think it takes who we were and just twists it just enough to make it really hard to ever become who we were supposed to be. But I believe with God all things are possible. Praying for you!

      I still don't remember a lot of my childhood. It's just blocked, no access.
      But I remember some sexual assaults when I was about 14. And I remember very clearly how I tried to relativize what happened to me, so I could put it in a box and not look at it anymore.
      When I had children of my own, that was when the amount of betrayal finally becam clear to me. Because I had the scope of love and also duty that my own children represent as a reference. That was when I finally could say: my father did some really messed up stuff to me, and I'm angry and hurt!
      I know it's not a good sign that I barely remeber anything from the time my own father lived in the same home as us. But I gave it all to God, so he can help fix me.
      I tried so hard all these years to fix myself, and the deep wounds were almost impossible. But Jesus rose from the dead with his wounds. So he understands, and he can make them not hurt anymore.

I also had a young man reveal himself to me at around the same age. It was the most disgusting & disturbing episode ever & I burn with shame to this day recalling it. No way a child is ready for sex, no matter what they say! I was happily playing with my dolls, running through fields with my dogs, watching tadpoles turning into frogs in our garden pond, climbing fences, riding horses, chasing butterflies or reading Hans Christian Andersen & believing in fairies and looking for them under toadstools. Ok, 34:40 Please can I also add to James' point about child grooming and go a little further to say that as a former victim of sexual molestation that it is very common for children to feel pleasure because that is how our parts are made to work! For so long I felt like I had a part in the guilt of what happened to me simply because I felt pleasure as a response! And because I felt pleasure and a strange form of intimacy, I developed a crush on my perpetrator who was sixteen and I was only six! So if someone would have asked me at the time I might have very easily taken some responsibility for the sexual acts that were in reality done to me. I have spent a lifetime just trying to find what was stolen from me and I'm still not there, as this was not the only person to molest me as a small child. Jesus is working on me still and I WILL get there!!!

      Michael Knowles does some good discussions on the illusion of consent and the idea of absolute "freedom" and that consent alone doesnt mean good or freeing.
      The idea that consent itself makes something right or good is a terrible ideology that is on the path to the fall of the self and society.
      It not only hurts the person who gives the supposed consent, but also allows for acceptance of things that are wrong based on consent alone.
      Remember, a lot of people today want to make it legal to screw little kids or to say that it is right as long as it is "consentual".

Many are /were lovely people, but look under the rock, and either smash the toxics or flee! So, over all a center for perversion without punishment... and by the way in the late 70s they fired all the Irish G levels, ie the intelligent women who answered the phone, kept the books, maintained the edifice, etc., shoved out in the cold, on the "downsizing" excuse. "A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. ➡️ we'd no longer eat real meet
      ➡️ the US would no longer be the world's leading superpower
      There were other things on the list too, but I find those to be the most egregious. Another motivation behind the trans shit is transhumanism, but it doesn't seem like most people are aware of this.

    I disagree on the Bud thing. 1) It’s popular with conservatives…choosing to boycott them can make an actual impact. It sends a message that can be quantified. Like James admits later, boycotting companies like Nike wouldn’t make as a big if a dent. 2) We now have so many craft beers that are truly American and small business. Why are we wanting to push such a conglomeration when we have so many great alternatives! To be honest I’ve never drank a single Bud or Bud lite bc I live in a community with tons of microbreweries often run by military vets and whose beers are significantly tastier.

    I think its important to point out 2 key factors here -
    Like we seen during recession, these corperations that lose billions in business - Their loses are covered by the US Government (these CEOs are not only paid, but the government covers their bonuses, as well), so the only ones that lose are their investors ( "you will have nothing and be happy" - right?)
    Also, Anheiser Busch knew they would get backlash for the people that purchase their beer. However, what they didn't expect - was retailers pulling it off the shelf (not allowing anyone to purchase - that can destroy Budweiser indefinitely!). Now do know, its been long term expected (retailers getting involved), so thus the new 85,000 new IRS agents - they will go after anyone who pushes back. Know all our moves are thought out, so it's important to do the unexpected a good portion of the time. If anything, this will diminish their confidence and push them to make mistakes.

Also, these corporations are playing the long game, a war of attrition. Smartphones and social media are destroying families and our children. What James is talking about with the age of consent is called the beard fallacy. Just because you can't define exactly when facial hair is long enough to be considered a beard does not mean that you can't clearly identify a beard when you see one. I see more clearly than ever now how transing the kids leads to normalizing pedophilia. If society decides that kids can consent to a sex change, then why can't they consent to sex with an adult also. Looking at how things went with homosexuality, the path goes from desensitization to destigmatization to legalization to celebration to now you are a bigot if you think it's wrong. There may come a time when not the pedophile, but the parent who tries to protect their child is thrown in jail.

    • @alexhuffvn
      @alexhuffvn Год назад +5

      @Addjoa preko baah thanks, the problem is that the age of consent is being torn down. We all used to agree in this nation that children can not meaningfully consent to sex. Even if they say they consent, that doesn't matter because their brains are not fully developed. Children are impressionable and vulnerable to manipulation by nature. Therefore, any sexual contact between an adult and a child should be understood as necessarily exploitative. We prohibit children from drinking alcohol, smoking, gambling, driving, getting tattoos, etc... because we rightly understand that children are simply not mature enough to make those kinds of decisions on their own. But with this transgender ideology, they somehow think children are mature enough to decide they are the opposite gender from what they really are. And schools and conselors will allow/push these kids into crossdressing, changing their names, getting on puberty blockers, and cross-sex hormones without even informing the parents, let alone asking their permission.
      So if society decides that children are mature enough to choose their own gender and even consent to sex change operations, then it becomes inconsistent to protect children from underage drinking and sex with adults. Do you see the connection now?

    • @addjoaprekobaah5914
      @addjoaprekobaah5914 Год назад +3

      @Alex Huff very sad. I live in a country where some people will think it's a hoax that someone is transgender. I even use to think it was fake news when I first read about it online. I want to arm myself to help my children. But I get the point you are making and it's scary.
