Great video. I think my Pm-2 in Rex-45 was also below 20 degrees per side, did really well. Honestly i think most people wouldn´t even notice if the heat treatment was not on point, but they still seem to put a bit more effort in those Sprint runs. Peace

100% agree. So many legs to the stool, so to speak. Thanks for watching man! 👊🏻🍻

Love all your vids bud. Real interesting stuff. Got a K390 Para 3. Bummed to hear the heat treat was bad. Any place I can send it in to get re heat treated? Is that even possible? Keep up the great content.

Thanks man. It wasn’t a bad heat treat just done poorly. Meaning not optimal hardness in my opinion. You can get them reheated but it’s a pain. Better off waiting for a fixed blade or folder that has optimal heat treat.

Great video! Cant wait to get you some of my knives! You put the edge up while your grinding, correct? And do you just keep going until the bevel gets real tiny and match both sides? And from the start do you just put the entire face of the knife flat until the bevels match and are smaller? Thanks!

Thanks man! I appreciate it! Nope! I put my edges on after grinding with a diamond stone. It do this because I don’t want to compromise the heat treat on the edge used for cutting. So I just get it thin and finish the cutting edge by hand.

    Gotta love cobalt steels.
Don't tell anyone I said this, but vg10 with its cobalt in it, isn't actually that bad. If heat treated with high hardness in mind.

What little angle finder did you have?

You like small bevels wait until I send you this police 4 that was sharpened by a crackhead at like 22 degrees inclusive. Bevel so big you could you park 10 Tahoes on it lol. That's my knife just wanted to say wuttup🤙
