Try using edge leading / into the edge passes to shear burr off. With the paddle in the highest position at the heel of the blade use a downward and forward motion using the lightest pressure as diamond especially when new are almost hyper aggressive. This same technique works on kme, edge pro etc. and will very quickly remove even the largest most stubborn burrs normally in 1-2 passes.
Trailing passes should be as light as possible with diamonds and most stones. If there not light you'll just create a micro burr! I like to do as light as possible but keeping consistent pressure.
