    The best colours depend on skin tone

    • @Stylesphere64
      @Stylesphere64  Месяц назад +1

      Absolutely! Skin tone plays a big role in determining which colors complement someone the best. Understanding whether you have a warm, cool, or neutral undertone can really help in choosing colors that enhance your natural complexion. Thanks for bringing that up

    An individual's best colors depend on skin tone, absolutely! Not age!

      Absolutely! Skin tone plays a major role in finding your best colors. In my content, I also consider how preferences and comfort might evolve with age, but you’re right-skin tone is key. Thank you for adding to the conversation

    Great advice. I look my best in jewel tones. I worked that out in the 80's when I was in my 20's.

      That’s amazing! Jewel tones are such a timeless and flattering choice. It’s great that you figured out what works best for you early on. Fashion from the 80s had some fantastic bold colors, and it’s awesome that those tones still work for you today.

      @@Stylesphere64 thank you. Neutral colours totally wash me out. They are so dull and boring to me. It's amazing how many style advisors seem to only dress their clients in neutrals that don't flatter them. Colour is especially important for women over 50 because our complexions change with age often becoming more sallow.

    As a true winter, warm colours drag all the colour from my face. Learn your colours and then follow your own eyes.

    This year they seem to be in love with burgundy and gray. Both look awful on me. I’ll stick to my camel and chocolate brown.

      Fashion is all about finding what works best for you! Burgundy and gray may not be everyone’s go-to, but caramel and chocolate brown are such rich, beautiful colors. It’s great that you know what suits your style.

    The only people that I find look attractive in grey is people who have gone grey. For example my partner looks absolutely handsome in dove grey because it compliments his silvery hair. And a medium to dark grey looks good imo,on people with salt and pepper grey hair.

      That’s such a great point! Gray can look incredibly flattering, especially for those with silver or gray hair. Dove gray sounds like a perfect match for your partner-it creates a soft, cohesive look that highlights the natural beauty of their hair. It’s amazing how the right shade can make such a difference.
