Just got a merino wool black cardigan at the Bay in Ottawa. This wool is very fine so does not add weight to.one's figure. Makes a large bust look smaller. What a blessing!
I am 57, and African American. I usually can get away with most colors. I like fuchsia pinks, over soft pinks, but I have both in my wardrobe. Can you do a video with different skin hues, and ethnic skin types? Thank you.
That was great. I have worn colors that make my face look sallow, orange or just drained of color. Now I know to add another color to brighten up my skin. Thank you.
Good, solid advice about color combinations and paying attention to skin tone. The model in this video looked fabulous in all the combinations. How about doing a video on greens, teals, and blues.
That first grey haired model is beautiful. It’s the hair and makeup. She’s wearing darker lipstick. Burgundy with pink and/or light blue was popular when I was in junior high school. I’m 71. 😂
Thank you. When I was young and working downtown I wore many of the same color combinations. The colors were usually combined in a sweaters yarn design, like a ski sweater. I loved it then and watching your video will look for pieces to add to my wardrobe.
You are so right with pastel blue, blush pink and light gray not working for me ... not sure what my undertone is, I think it's olive (I'm Southeast Asian) but your recommendations are SPOT ON!! Burgundy and navy blue works wonders on me ... only sad thing is I was in my late forties when I understood all these. But now my wardrobe stables are burgundy, deep teal, deep purple and navy blue. They don't make me look sallow, washed out, tired or meh. Thank you for this video, keep up the good work!
It's great to see ideas of how to pair colors so you can still wear colors that you love. Pink, violet and mint green make me look like a cadaver. I need more scarves.
I am embracing my gray hair with a chic cut but concerned did not want my attire to be frumpy.. Your videos have helped so much! when out younger ladies compliment my look. I also stopped buying and wearing so much black. I am African American and have told my friends about your channel. Keep up the good work ❤
I especially liked the pairings with burgundy. That particular color seems to be destined to make other colors look better. Why is it, though, I almost never see any greens, especially as a base color? Is that a particularly difficult color for most people to wear?
I look forward to your video every week, learned so much from you and appreciate that you pay attention to the oldies like me. I am 60 and feeling so old😢. Do you have any recommendations of how to wear duster cardigan for petite women? Greatly appreciated for all your time and input 🙏
Ooh, I love that idea! I look forward to exploring those colors and discovering some interesting combinations. Thanks for sharing your suggestion. Stay tuned for some fun new looks😘
Thank you, thank you - I love your videos finding them so very inspirational and encouraging. I have many takeaways from this video. Bless your heart for your work - so appreciated all the way ftom N.Z. ❤
I love orange and mustard but im cool toned mid tan ( can u believe it ?!?!) but now i need to go and put these tips to work for me . I’ll let you know … THANKS SO MUCH
Orange and mustard are such fun colors! Just a tip: knowing whether your undertones are pink, red, or blue can really help you find the perfect color combinations. For example, cool skin with red undertones may look great in softer shades of orange and yellow. I can’t wait to hear how it goes-thanks for sharing! 😊✨
@@EleganceAt60 HI 👋 Today i wore a deep bright orange top with a deep navy suit and i loved it as it was , but i also found in my cupboard a delicate scarf with chevron orange ,teal with a border of navy and it was so amazing … !!!! Im so happy , you gave me the confidence and i wore it , it was a cold spring day today and the girls at work said they’re going to try their orange colours too . We played your vid , some of the girls took screen shots of their fave colour combos . What an awesome day . Again thanks so much
I love orange too, I can wear mustard but I’m not sure why. Highlighter yellow looks great on me as well as light turquoise, but I’m not crazy about highlighter. I’m olive skin, medium tone, cool. Very hard to find foundation.
@@jojorey6886 omg absolutely on the foundation . I need two foundations a pink and yellow and then mix my colour on the back of my hand . So im a bit of a neutral . So u can wear mustard but not orange wow , im jealous that you can wear yellow . I would love that !
I'd appreciate showing colour combinations on someone with steel-grey and brown-grey hair and natural makeup. not everyone 60+ has gorgeous platinum grey hair
That’s great! Having a neutral skin tone gives you so much flexibility with different colors and styles. You can really rock a wide range of shades-lucky you! 😊
Love your videos. I have a question, I've always been told my skin tone is cool but since I've turn grey oranges, navy, dark gray seems to look better on me. Does your hair color have a lot to do with it or does your skin tones change?
Thank you! Yes, your hair color can absolutely influence how colors look on you. As your hair turns grey, it often softens the contrast with your skin, which can make shades like orange, navy, or dark gray more flattering than before. While your skin tone may not change dramatically, the shift in hair color changes the overall harmony of your look. It’s all about finding the right balance between your new hair shade and colors that highlight your skin beautifully! I'm so glad you enjoy the videos! Each phase in life brings fresh opportunities to explore and embrace your unique style, helping you feel confident in your own skin.😊😘
Orange is definitely an unforgiving color for many people. On those it looks good, it is amazing. But, those people are not the majority. Wear it carefully. And, yellow is an underrated color. It is so bright and cheerful. But, everyone must look at the shade of any color before wearing it. Be bold and wear yellow, just find the right one for your skin.
I was looking forward to this video, but I was disappointed. 99% of the women in the video had white or gray hair. The selected colorful outfits suited them. But I dye my hair an intense red and I would look bad in it. Will there be a sequel? For women who don't want to have gray hair yet and like colors?
I think people can see our age very easily it is a human thing. So why we imagine that we can disguise this is an enigma. Why just look like an older woman who is dressed well.
Wow, that’s wonderful to hear! 💖 It’s great to know my channel has shifted your focus to self-improvement! This journey is all about discovering new possibilities. There’s so much to discover and explore. I appreciate you being part of this journey with me! 😊✨
Nowadays you are told everything: what to think, what not to say (e.g. your own opinion), how to use the toilet (please don't waste water) and now THIS! Again something that nobody needs.... If I am thick and would like a cow costume - I would wear it without thinking! Girls, I encourage you! No matter how old or young you are - your looks are your own business! Being happy and sovereign makes you beautiful.

Ladies:. When you get compliments about a colour, keep buying it.
You don’t seem to show any woman with deeper complections?
I LOVE lime green, but not sure if it compliments my light cool toned skin.
Modern neutrals
Those pastel blue and burgundy combos are absolutely stunning!

Omg I loved all of these color combos
One problem…I live in SE Texas. We get very little opportunity to wear coats, jackets, scarves, etc.
Same in SW Florida...sub tropics...hot and humid.
Yep. Same issues here in the Low Country of SC. I rarely wear a coat!
You poor things, lol. I rarely get a chance to wear a pretty summer dress or even a shirt in a northerly part of the northern hemisphere,
Love this!!! Color has such a big impact on how you feel. The combinations you show in the video are really beautiful!

I have a pale lime green short cardigan which is such a nice piece. However I struggle to define a color top / bottom that works well with it.
Thank you. These are great color combos - I wouldn’t have thought of them.
Well done . Loved the video and the content! Thank you so much!
Very enjoyable informative and interesting. Thank you😊
Very helpful video.
Thank you you have colour ideas that are exciting and help mature women be visible.
Learned a lot. Thank you.
I would like to see color combinations with pink and also various greens.

I’m liking the skinny jeans, so many are saying they’re out, they look nice with these outfits.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS…
THANK YOU..
Your model is such am strikingly beautiful and elegant woman.
That was really useful. Thank you! I'd be particularly interested in seeing green featured if possible. 🙂

Do you have a video for those of us with cool skin undertone? i.e., previously known as “Winter” in the Color Me Beautiful system?
I do enjoy your videos thank you so much
I'm really glad you're enjoying the videos. I truly appreciate your support, and there’s plenty more to come-stay tuned! 😊😘
Thank you!
Love this topic. Thank you frm 🇵🇭
I’m glad you love the topic. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Thank You 😘😘
Please show some denim vest. I seam to pair mine with only white and denim colors! Happy I found you’re channel ❤
could you please do a video about what to wear with a long dark beige cardigan> I think i am cool toned!!! Thank you so much.
So we can wear cool colir with warm color?
Where I live, coats are hot!! I'm at the coast and wear mostly lighter weight clothing. Any suggestions? Thank you!!
I definitely am Neutral skin tone. So inbetween.

Colors for “winters” who have now gone gray-haired
Very useful I am a woman of 67 abd grey hair so these colour contrasts were very helpful for me x
What would you suggest for a redhead with pale skin.
wish you would add brands and where clothes in your videos can be purchased.
Including where they can be purchased is useless, because in a matter of months, they will no longer be there.

It's your skintone that counts, not your hair
Im looking on your page for part 1. I thought there might be a link but dont see one. I would love to see it
Only one ethnicity shown?
Grey and taupe and all the boring neutrals do not work with my skin tone. I need crisp white or black.
I wish that there was more ethnic diversity to represent more women and their possible colour combos
this blue and burgundy together must be an english thing😅🙈 It's an combination, l never ever would chose
I think people can see our age very easily it is a human thing. So why we imagine that we can disguise this is an enigma. Why just look like an older woman who is dressed well.
I used to watch shopping hauls, but since discovering your channel, I have zero interest in them, I'm now, obsessed with watching how to improve me!
Wow, that’s wonderful to hear! 💖 It’s great to know my channel has shifted your focus to self-improvement! This journey is all about discovering new possibilities. There’s so much to discover and explore. I appreciate you being part of this journey with me! 😊✨
All your models have grey hair, that through off the colors we should wear
The only colors that age you are colors that are outside the undertones of your complexion.
Strange combinations
It would have been ever so much more helpful to show the actual colors you're talking about while speaking about them.
Great videos, love how you show colors. You sound like IA, not real. Would be nice to have a real person☺️
No Black Women?🤷🏽♀️
...urgh, here we go!! I'm DARK woman!
Nowadays you are told everything: what to think, what not to say (e.g. your own opinion), how to use the toilet (please don't waste water) and now THIS!

I loved the content of this video but this bot voice is intolerable 😢
Absolutely. It is horrendous. I can't listen to this.
Wearing color in general is a little bit tacky… and out of date in America. Modern , current clothing is based on neutrals.
This is your personal opinion only, and there are millions of us who not believe what you believe.
Absolute rubbish. Have you never heard of Colour Me Beatiful in the USA? I’m and autumn and never wear black, grey, navy etc
Absolute Rubbish . Women should wear the colours they like and enjoy wearing.
Nothing is more aging than grey hair, independent of the colour of your clothing..
I am learning to embrace my grey hair. Too bad if you cannot take it.
