Absolutely superb again lads. I could spend the rest of my life just sitting here listening to Brian. I can't thank you fellers enough for such a superb series. Brilliant. What a man... and what a channel. Keep it up lads. You're already streets ahead of any competition. UTV VTID
A fabulous series so far. The knowledge about Savo M. and what he had to deal with at his age in a foreign country at that time, he certainly deserves greater respect. This is a series of interviews that can be great for Villa View.
Amazing man and amazing memories. 1989-98 were just the best days for me as a Villa fan, the era I am still most nostalgia about. Let's hope we have another day to remember Vs Fulham at Wembley.
Fantastic series, watched them all now and brilliant every single one. Brian Little still my favourite manager of all time. My first ever game was may '95. The last home game against Liverpool where we won 2-0. Was in the Holte End as Dwight Yorke thundered in those goals was a brilliant day. Watching this made me revisit the match day programme. I don't recall it but I got my programme signed by Dwight Yorke and Ian Taylor. Well chuffed with that! Also Phil King and Nii Lamptey no less!!!!!!! 😁 Thanks for the memories Brian, long may you continue to be a part of our club. It was this game and down to you I truely fell in love with this great club. UTV. 😁
I remember going up to Bodymoor Heath regularly as a kid in the 90s, we were allowed to walk right up to the complex where the players would be milling around after training out on the fields. We used to chat with Savo and he always seemed like a very nice guy, even as a kid I felt sorry for him as he seemed a bit lost in a strange land. A very under-rated player for us.
Yet another great installment in this fantastic series. Interesting to hear what Savo went through. Must have been really difficult for him but I will never forget his wonder goal at Wembley! Great series guys, love BL, great man. UTV
I don't have any affiliation to Aston Villa, just noticed this vid was recommended to me in my feed and being a fan of the game in general thought i'd give it a watch...... ended up watching all 4 parts back to back. Looking forward to the next installment and also notice you have a John Gregory series up which i'll have to check out, too. Brian seems a thoroughly nice bloke who genuinely loves Aston Villa and his summing up of Savo Milosevic really makes you put things into perspective. As I say, i'm not a Villa supporter so I can't remember the facts but I do recall an unsavory spitting incident......it's easy to judge somebody by that or by their lack of goals but when you look at the situation he came from and not speaking a word of English as well the fact he was still so young then, yeah, I think really he deserves a little more credit.
