- Dirt e-bikes are revolutionising the off-road moto scene. New brands & models are starting to show up and these ultra light bikes have a real advantage on tight trails: their high power to weight ratio and low inertia make them fly like rockets!
I haven't been riding that much lately… First of all, I busted my Nucular controller so the bike wasn't operational, second is that we are working hard as my brother and I are preparing a huge surprise for you guys, stay tuned 🤘

You have literally the best ride videos, man. So epic!! And I am loving the off-bike camera angles through the trails! It really gives perspective! Awesome video as always!
Thanks a lot Travis! I agree with you that the off-bike scenes bring a lot to the video. Hopefully so because that's what takes the most time 😝
@@MTO_Brothers what model is this and how much does it cost I absolutely love it….
@@johnnydoe3469 the details of the bike you mean?
@@MTO_Brothers yes
Absolutely flying on that thing! Quick question, On terrain like this, what kind of range do you get at these speeds and accelerations?
With the big battery at full throttle non-stop like that, I'd ride slightly less than 2hrs.
@@MTO_Brothers That's great considering the stealth advantage. Look forward to building a trail weapon like this someday. Thanks for replying, stay safe!
I tell you I couldn't Keep up with you in them woods on a full size Mx ice bike! You are killing that trail🔥🔥🔥👌
I'm wondering what would happen if a Mani Lettenbichler/Billy Bolt etc were to enter one of these in an FIM race....
I clearly don't know but what's for sure is that they would rock it! Unless they don't like the MTB feel 🤷♂️
BILLY could ride a unicycle around any trail and look good doing it💪😂
@@fpvlee1586 true that! My own favourite is Pol Tarres but Mani kills it as well 🤘
Now that MUST be about as fast as one can travel on that trail, PERIOD... Lovely footage, that's right on the limit and a fair bit faster than I could ever hope to get... 😀
Thank you brother 🙌
@@MTO_Brothers Funny coincidence! I have the same BLUE Light Bee as you now! Would have preferred black color, BUT I bought used, fully tuned with EXT shock, 72V, Dorado Forks, the works! - Super busy right now, so I haven't had a chance to ride offroad yet, but EVEN in the City it's sooo much fun! 😝
1:17 that looks sick man! Fantastic!
Oh man, you guys are getting much faster!!!
Amazing video Quentin! 😮👏❤️
Gracias hermano. We definitely need to catch up!
🙌Hi, write me, appreciate your feedback 💯
Best riding video yet!
Thank you Seth!
Maaaan ur 🔥 thanks for the various perspectives. Makes the video much more interesting
Thank you for your input man. That’s really some more work, but it was definitely worth it!
Wham, Quentin is flying deep today*)
Looks like training pays off hehe ✈️
Also these flowy trails are the perfect fit for the Ron
Incredible riding! Thanks for posting.....
Thank you for watching!
Absolute beast mode!! Hell yes!!!
sick surron vid , surron should hire you to advertise their bikes.
This is just the surron frame and motor though :')
I'm not asking for much, but if they could give out a new bike per year, I would be grateful!
Can't deny it! I changed a few things. But the frame and motor is what makes a bike though.
MTB brands usually only produce the frame, all of the rest are parts made from specialised brands.
@@MTO_Brothers Yeah I agree, the integration of those is really well done on the surron. I'm thinking of getting the torp tc500 controller and later a bigger battery. I'm wondering though how long the motor will last at these higher power levels.
Fortunately some company also started buidling a 25kw capable motor for the surron!
Damn that's some good riding. How long have you been riding?
Question: chain drive or belt? If belt how many have you gone through.
Stock motor?
Thanks
Hey mate! Thanks a lot. Chain drive only as the belt is too fragile for the power (and the mud in winter).
Yes stock motor so far, you’d be amazed at the power we can push this little baby 😝
Awesome track mate.
Thanks pal! It's really nice to have some trails close by that you can ride quickly without to get the truck 🤘
Love your vids man. Cheers
Thanks mate! 🤘
DAMN Quentin!!!! I ride around on my 12Kw and I feel kinda quick, but after watching your videos (which I really enjoy) it humbles me. Awesome production and the shots really give an understanding of the speeds you are able to maintain. Keep it up. One last question: What wheel/tire set-up are you running in this video?
Thank you so much Russel! In this one it's both 19" wheels with Geomax tyres (33 rear and softer 53 on the front).
@@MTO_Brothers Do you mean the other way around? I am wondering for my own sake lol. I am going to order some. I thought the 53 was hard and the 33 was soft?
@@DukeFerg 53 is for harder terrain, so it's softer. Soft compound for rocks, harder compound for muddy terrain. It's all reversed. That's probably why you got confused 😉
@@MTO_Brothers Thanks mate!
Le mec est plutôt chaud!! Ça joue ça vie mdr
🙌Hi, write me, appreciate your feedback 💯
Yoooo! Sick vids brother! Been watching you from the start of the channel. One question!! Can I get a build/ part list on your bike?
Hey man! Thanks a lot for your comment. Have you seen our Ultimate Surron upgrade list video? It hasn't changed too much since then (so far). But if you have a question on a specific point, don't hesitate!
Great Video! i come from MTB background too - what Regen settting do you use? 1,2 or 3 or fully off?
Fully off all day!
Best surron rider I know
Thank you so much Kerry 😊
Great video! Amazing riding!! How did you break the nucular? Thx
I don’t know, I was riding and suddenly power stopped. At first I though the motor or battery had overheated...
😍!
Keep grinding ❤️
Will do for sure 🤘
You drive like a beast 💪🏼
But how can you be sure nobody will come from the other direction? 😱
In that case we were two to shoot and make sure the way was clear 🤘
@@MTO_Brothers ok 😅👍🏼
Still killing it Quentin!! What rear shock are you running?
Thank you Mitch 🙏
I’m running the Rock Show coil, nothing super fancy but does the job on the rear.
You are definitely a great trail rider. Excellent handling skills. If I define your riding as fast, I am 1/4 fast 😄 LOL. I have my SR set at 9.5kW, and I cannot imagine opening it up in the woods at those speeds. I would have an ungentle meeting with a tree.
Ive heard tree hugging is very healthy hahaha. I still wouldn’t recommend it though. Thank you man!
Loving the videos - dreaming of moving from a two stroke Kawasaki to a Surron - do you have a breakdown video / section that details the mods on this version your riding now. Videos are great - Thanks
I don't at the moment, but that's a planned video for august. Complete breakdown of all he mods and choices my brother and I have made for our bikes (with a big difference in rider height & weight).
Énorme. Flying rider
🙂
Très lourd la vidéo … 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm strongly considering Bomber 58s for my Talaria. Have you had any issues with them? Cheers
No man, it’s very reliable and works like a charm 👍
@@MTO_Brothers Thanks dude. Can't wait to see what you guys have been working on. Keep it up. Cheers
you are super fast men amaszaing ride
Did you use a GoPro 11 Hero for the onboard video? Thx
No. That was with a GP7. I just got an 11 though so the next video will be shot with it!
Hi Quinten, What is your wheel size combo that you are running?
Hey pal! it depends on the terrain but here I was running with 19" front and rear.
You are good on that brother you’ve defo raced mx or enduro to get that Technique lol
Thank mate, mtb background but races yeah!
is that marzocchi alot better then the stock suspension? does it still bottom out on big jumps? i want that boss suspension because i think they wont bottom out but its like 3000 dollar. but if that marzocchi is alot better then stock maybe i wanna go that route. Whats your thought about these marzocchi forks?
It's night and day better. I heard the Boss has a lot of issues and replacement parts aren't that easy to find out. I cannot say it'll never bottom out but that will depend on how you tune it.
Also, with a Fox or Bomber 40, you have a lot of options to have them prepared by professionals.
oh really, thats the first time i hear this about those boss forks, you cannot find anything about them like reviews or so , thats not the case with fox or marzocchi. i think i gonna choose for the marzocchi then. thnx for the info
@@highducky420 yeah there’s not much around. But that’s first hand info I gathered at the competitions from guys that have it on either Surron or LMX
EPIC
Do you not have issues with the motor overheating? WIth my controller and BMS bypass I am at 7 kW and in a mountain area with lots of steep inclines I easily get to 114°C :/
Yum, toasty :)
It has happened when temps were close to 40C and riding trails which required constant braking & acceleration or endless steep uphill. When that happens usually a less intense riding at average speed cools everything down.
Also your issue may indicate that you need to adjust your sprocket size, the motor might be forcing too much 😉
damn bro you broke the speed abrrier, i put this as fast as a a 500cc 2 stroke. Next generation we will have a spederbike from star wars haha
Hahahaha! It’s been my dream to pilot these flying scooters since i saw that in Star Wars when i was a kid. Should we call them AirDoo?
haha that'd be great@@MTO_Brothers
Continues on adore🤟
🏁⚡👍
What are some good regions to ride in France? As over here (Holland) everything is flat.
Hey Thomas. I feel for you, it's less fun when everything is flat. Almost all places are great to ride in France as long as you have a bit of nature around. Loads of places I don't know but almost all of the Alps are packed with awesome trails, Provence/Côte d'Azur is really nice too, huge SR community over there. And you get to see the sea while riding in some spots!
@@MTO_Brothers thanks for the quick reply! There are some less legal mountainbike trails we have done; and we have been to Bilstain in Belgium which is a cool place to ride. I will definitely go to the Provence! It sounds awesome!
@@thomas2448 there’s always some rules you gotta be aware of. I confess that most of the time I just follow the law of common sense and everything goes well.
@@MTO_Brothers ha well put! Same here, and it helps that you're riding electric. A lot of people like that. The mountain bike tracks are, as the name says, for mountain bikes, but as you long as you don't go off-route and have a quick chat with the people there, nobody cares what you do. It helps that the tracks are not too crowded there as they are in the west of Holland. Common sense always helps.
@@thomas2448 As you say! Plus we love mtb trails, as long as we don't damage them or go rogue and climb back one way trails, we're fine. Plus a lot of us come (or still also are) mountain bikers, so they're brothers 😎
Always chatting with people and most of the time they are very curious about the bike. Any case, we gotta show them we are respectful, that translates to more freedom long term.
👌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks mate!
How did you managed to burn nuc? :O
I think there was a MOFSET default… It's normally under warranty. We'll see ;)
@@MTO_Brothers please contact nucular for repair. wonder what happened to it
Tu roules bien 2/3hr. Après ça dépend énormément du terrain…
how much km can you ride with it when it’s 100%?
About 40km with this one. But I have another one for increased range.
whats your tire setup??
I change quite often, but I was running Geomax 53 on the front & 33 on the rear.
Link for hand guards please
They don't mount on MTB bars, these are the acerbis rallye profile
This is perfect for the netherlands the cop would stop you for riding a road legal 125cc dirtbike just cause they heard it
Exactly mate! Stealth riding
fly? wtf?
wot?
