    The one that gets me is the armchair experts saying "the air force never does that" or similar things along that line. I commented on one of the shorts that my father is a C-17 pilot, and while I'm not in myself I still live in the area around McChord and work with the Air Force. I've also spent time near Creston WA where they do low level training as well. These commentors have seemingly never experienced anything to do with these aircraft in the real world, but think so highly of themselves and what they know to make these calls. Everyone should be skeptical, but these guys' ego is out of control. This is the real deal, I've seen it myself. Great work man.

    I would like to see this by seeing it in person like you did! Keechelus Lake by Snoqualmie pass, right? On the Iron Horse trail side? How do you know when the training routes will be active?

    This is certainly not a fake. If it was, you would see at least 120 degrees of bank, missiles being fired and Sasquatch flying. Great video! Keep them coming. Even if .74M is pretty pedestrian.

      @@trevorwert I should know this too. At 60 fpm along with overlaying frames of differing contrast… it looks “too good” lol! I have a DJI drone and absolutely should know this. I use LightCut to gain detail as well using some of the preprogrammed HDR. I’ve actually started playing around more with D-LOG and raw as well but it takes more knowledge and skill than just using jpg. I’ve learned that the higher detail and frame rate might look better on my end but could never get it to look much better once compressed by RUclips. Also, it would take hours to load at higher fps with higher pic density. Bottom line- your shit is good!!! Not easy to do! Not only takes being in the right place at right time but also understanding which setting to use in the current environment. Just huge props! Lastly, GREAT videos explaining. You don’t have to be some camera master to understand what you were explaining.👍👍👍👍

    RUclips thought police removed a bunch of my comments on the original thread where I was pointing out that there's an Air Force airlift command squadron based about 30 miles away from where this was filmed and that similar flights took place in "Star Wars canyon" (aka Rainbow canyon in California) until a crash shut that route down. Vids can be found for planes flying that, though.

    • @trevorwert
      @trevorwert  6 месяцев назад +1

      Interestingly enough the C-17s can still do VFR through there because they’re below 250 knots instead of the 300+ on the VR-routes.

  • @bridgecross
    @bridgecross 4 месяца назад

    I always look at items in the background, like that traffic on the highway. Procedurally generated traffic still doesn't look as real as that. Also, the foliage at the end is definitely real. For a while I thought the entire background was at least partially real, but the planes could have been CGI. There are certainly moments where the underside and navigation lights look too crisp and perfect.

    Have you ever seen a DCS video of a session set at MAX? It looks fantastic. I never said that the planes couldn't do it because I know they can. I have spent 100's of hours flying on DCS and it looks as real as your video. I believe you 100%, and it's not because of the quality of the video, it's because you said you took it. I'm cool with that. It's real as real can be. Props!

    I’m not gonna lie… I wrote “Fake asf” on the last video… And to me it still does and it has nothing to do with the way it maneuvered… my opinion was solely based on how the video looked and which he obviously cleared up by explaining 4K HDR @60fps…
    I appreciate the time you took make this explanation video though lol… definitely cleared things up

      Agreed anonymouse. I thought and said fake too because it just didn’t feel right. Not the aircraft action but the lack of motion blur. I think some people who are casual photographers with drones will feel like something is off in the videos. Well, I got schooled! Kind of glad I did because I learned a thing or two along the way.

      @@fortyfour6626 Lol… so funny thing is, I work with videos and photo images all the time in job for investigative purposes… I understood everything he said… I was just too quick to judge… however in my/our defense lol… 90% of shorts on RUclips are either manipulated by AI or just trash videos.
      Additionally Im a retired military with extensive experience in C-17s both domestically and overseas in combat/contingency operations… Its a very capable aircraft… so much so, that in counterintelligence, in the SECRET realm, the C-17 is one highest priorities for technology protection (specifically against China)… again this is in the SECRET realm, there are higher priorities.

    Yes, it is fake. Besides the MANY CGI artifacts you can see if you do a frame by frame, there is the fact that you see no jet blast on the water. The background is real, the planes are not.

    • @trevorwert
      @trevorwert  6 месяцев назад

      I did go through it frame by frame... The planes aren't close enough to the water to disturb the water. They would need to be much lower.

    • @thomasmleahy6218
      @thomasmleahy6218 6 месяцев назад

      And any disturbance would be far behind the aircraft as it sinks alowly.
