    -regular trims
    -no heat, no processing
    -protective styles
-leave-in conditioner (hydration and it locks in the moister)
    -Capillary Schedule
(every week u do a mask, the normal schedule for hair is
    1. Week = Hydration (fruits, Aloe vera, liquid pro vitamine b5)
    2. Week = Hydration ('')
    3. Week = Nutrition (oils, butters, etc.)
    4. Week = Reconstruction (=protein e.g rice))
-consistency y'all you got this 😤💪🏻🔥💕💞💕
If you don't want to stop using silicons, try ACV rinse. It does the same thing and is way healthier and cheaper lol

UPDATE: Last year I remember I made a comment in a vid telling you I didn't want to stop using my certain products that had chemical ingredients because those were the ones that made my hair look the best, and I didn't believe in going cruelty-free, using oils and DIYs would change my hair. I commented being rude saying I wouldn't spend a fortune on products that wouldn't do anything. You explained about the "vicious cycle," where my hair was completely damaged BECAUSE I wasn't using the right products, and my hair would look nice after using them BECAUSE it was filled with harsh chemicals, but it ended up ruining my hair BECAUSE I wouldn't stop using them since I needed them, and the reason would go back to the beginning, which was I needed them BECAUSE my hair was damaged BECAUSE I was using them and I was using them BECAUSE I needed them......so you told me to give your vid a chance, and gave me some drugstore brand names.
I just needed to say, OMG. YOU SAVED MY HAIR. At the beginning my hair looked HORRIBLE! I stopped using silicone/paraben products, so my hair shined in all its damaged glory. I purchased good shampoo/conditioner and natural oils and essential oils, wooden brush and all that. 3 months in and my hair looked worse and worse, BUT I didn't stop.
Now, I can say that my hair reaches my butt and it's been the healthiest it's ever been. I continue using jojoba oil and castor oil, rosemary essential oil, and other stuff you recommended. I can't believe it, you were right. You really DO HAVE TO BE consistent. I hated changing my routine, getting rid of those products I used before, changing into oils, doing masks once a week, putting my hair in a braid, all that stuff. But I'm here to say you were absolutely right and you saved my hair. My hair felt like hey after the shower, now, its silky smooth without even putting stuff on it.
I needed to come on here to just thank you so much. To you I'm just one more subscriber and I'm aware it may not mean anything to you, but to me, girl you saved my life, my hair is everything to me. You took your time to answer my comment even when you didn't need to, and explain to me how wrong I was. I feel right now I could still have my hair to my shoulders super damaged if you didn't answer back then. So thank you so so much, I just can't even thank you enough. Yeah yeah, to some it may just be hair, but to people like me, hair is just part of who I am lol
    Love ya

@@cup_noodles4788 Hi! YES OF COURSE. Let me just give a backstory so you understand my hair type.
If you don't care, you can just go to the bottom of the reply lol.
      Hair Type:
Thin and Fine - which means it get greasy in matter of hours, gets freezy without friction, get damaged by just looking at it, and I have so little it looks like its thinner the closer you get.
      BEFORE=
      Starting Point:
I had my hair to the middle of my back, but it was so horribly damaged, I was going to cut it to a pixie, but I gave this channel a final chance, decided to try some of her tips and tricks.
      Bad Habits:
I used to brushed my hair in the shower, or passed my fingers through them, I also towel dried my hair, which is super damaging if you have fine hair. I used to blow dry it and flat iron it. Always went to bed with the hair free, waking up with a giant mess. Used all kinds of silicone products to make my hair shiny and silky.
      Products I used:
The products I used were really bad, with bad ingredients such as Garnier Fructis, Pantene, Suave, TRESemme, L'Oreal, Herbal Essence, OGX, Garnier Whole Blends.
      Some Bad Hair Ingredients:
Ammonium laurel sulfate (ALS), Aquarex methyl, Betaime, Butylparaben, Chloride, Cyclomethicone, Diethanolamine (DEA), Diazolidinyl Urea
, Dimethicone, Ethylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Isopropyl alcohol, Isobutylparaben, Lead, Methylgaraben, Mineral oil, Phenylenediamine (PPD), Polyethylene Glycol (PEG), Propylparaben, Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), Sodium salt, Sulfuric acid, Sulfuric acid, Sulfate, Talc, Triethanolamine (TEA)
I'm sorry I know its a lot, but basically the worst ones are parabens, silicones, fragrances, sulfates, talc, PEG, certain alcohols, mineral oil and others.
      NOW:
      Current State:
My hair reached my butt, but I since have cut a little of it off. It is still fine and thin, but its not freezy, its not dull looking, its shiny on its own, and its silky on its on.
      Current Habits:
I wash my hair 1-2 times a week, unless I have somewhere important to be, then 3. I don't brush my hair in the shower anymore, I don't pass my fingers through it either. I end every shower with a cold rinse. To dry it, I only use a cotton large t-shirt and I never rub my hair together, I only pat it dry. I put a carrier oil with an essential oil after every wash, and immediately let it air dry in a braid. If I comb my hair, I only use wooden brushes, a large teeth one mostly, or a smaller one before a shower or before bed. I put my hair in a braid before I go to bed. I don't use any other products on my hair, I don't style it, I just let it breathe. Once a week I do a deep hair mask, or a scalp treatment, and sometimes I do the inversion method. I don't use elastic hair ties and I hardly do any hair styles besides braids. I also get regular trims
      Products I use:
I try to use vegan, organic, cold pressed, unfiltered or unrefined
      products
      Shampoo and Conditioner:
Love, Beauty & Planet (I don't have money to spend, which sucks, so the cheapest I found was this $6 and it works great for my hair.)
      Hair Oils:
      Jojoba, castor, coconut
      oil
(I put jojoba right after every shower, and its absorbed like a dream. I also use it during the week at the ends when they feel a bit dry, I use it if I have to comb my hair, to detangle it, basically for almost everything. The other 2 I use it for hair masks/scalp treatment)
      Essential Oils:
      Rosemary, lavender, tea tree
      essential oil
(I combine jojoba with rosemary after every wash, and I put a few drops to the ends of my hair. I use the other 2 for scalp treatments.)
      Cold Rinses:
      Apple Cider Vinegar
(Yes, it stinks, but after an hour, the smell goes away, and there is no smell at all. When I'm done showering, I always always always do a cold apple cider vinegar rinse, but I do not rinse my hair afterwards, I leave the vinegar on my hair. It has gotten rid of the dull looking hair, dandruff, and it leaves it super shiny. BUT I only use organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar, the others ones don't work.)
      Wooden Brushes:
Tek Big Oval Hair Brush and Onedor Handmade 100% Natural Green Sandalwood Hair Comb
(I only use wooden brushes, which to me, has 80% to do with my hair transformation. I cannot believe how a wooden brush can do such change. When brushing, ALWAYS start from the bottom up, never top to bottom, you lose way more hair that way.)
Tools: Hair scrunchies & cotton t-shirt
      Hair Masks:
      1. Jojoba & coconut & rosemary
      2. Jojoba & rosemary
      3. Coconut & lavender, etc.
(For hair masks I usually switch up my carrier oils with essential oils)
      Scalp Treatments:
      1. Castor & tea tree & lavender
      2. Castor
      & tea tree
      3. Castor, etc.
(I also switch these up. I do this twice a month or so, depends when I want to. When I do these, I focus on massaging every inch of my scalp . Castor and tea tree oil are supposed to be agents for hair growth, and I am shocked to say THEY WORK.)
I'm so so so so so sorry this is so much information :( I feel awful, but I think 40 or even 30% of hair regeneration has to do with products, and the other 60 or 70% with bad hair habits or inconsistency. I think just like she said, consistence is the best thing. There are soooo many more products I wish I could try, the Calia line, Innate life, Blue Beautifly, and a whooole bunch of oils like almond, avocado, olive, camellia, grapefruit, the list is endless. But for me, starting with just 3 oils and 3 essential oils, 1 vegan line for shampoo/conditioner, wooden brush, and cotton t-shirt was enough to change my hair.

How to care for damaged hair= cut it all off! My hair was so messed up and I cut it above my collar bones. I stopped dyeing and putting heat on it 5 months ago and it hasn’t been this healthy in YEARS. so worth it. No split ends, my ends are so soft I haven’t needed to cut it 😄 I keep my hair up everyday and only wash it twice a week with Calia ❤️

I already use scrunchies, wash my hair only 2 times a week, do hair rinses and oil treatments, never use heat/bleach/colour etc. AND i use a handmade wooden brush. Is there anything else i can do/ use to make my hair grow faster? also btw i sleep with french braids but i feel like the shorter pieces just split more when i sleep with them.

    • @OrganicallyAnna
      @OrganicallyAnna  4 года назад +1

Hi love, you're definitely on the right track! Unfortunately, the rate at which your hair grows is genetic. If your body is still recovering from a period of extreme stress, it can take some time for that growth rate to balance out again. If you're noticing breakage at night, try using a satin pillowcase. This will prevent friction between the shorter pieces and fabric. You can find them really cheap at beauty supply stores or on amazon. Otherwise, it sounds like you're taking really good care of your hair! Just make sure you're also taking care of the inside of your body, try to eat a healthy diet and try to find a way to manage stress. I get really stressed really easily, so I always have to focus on chilling out haha. I hope this was helpful 🖤

My hair is quite healthy and shiny but it just gets really frizzy and puffy and idk what to do. I use sulphate, silicone, paraben free products and don’t really use heat, wash my hair 1-2 times a week and never brush it. please give me tips and tell me why it’s still like this 💗

When the hair gets frizzy it usually means it's dry. Try using a leave in conditioner or oil in between washes to keep the hair hydrated and smooth!

I was in a comma 2 years ago. My head was shaved to drain fluid from around my brain. My hair is now at shoulder length but it looks awful. It's dry and looks and feels like straw. The tangles are like knots if I don't keep it in a pony. I'm natural blonde but it has grown in so many colors roots are dark brown now and the ends so blonde looks almost white. No dye no heat. I air dry only then always a pony. I've tried so many things Help please

shy gambino that’s ok! Everyone’s hair is different. My hair tends to do better with it during the winter than in the summer, but I use it all year round as a detangler

I used to have a leave in that didn’t work for me (it was the body shop’s rainforest leave in/detangler) and I diluted it with water and that helped a lot

Does anyone have any recommendations for a leave in conditioner for fine, low porosity hair, my hair goes greasy super easy and most leave ins make my hair feel waxy or greasy

    • @OrganicallyAnna
      @OrganicallyAnna  4 года назад

The Sweet Pea leave in conditioner from Carina Organics is my all-time favourite. It's really light weight, it doesn't have that thick consistency. It's a nice mist and it makes my hair feel so soft and it looks really shiny too. I usually get it at my local health store, I think it's around $10 CAD :)

@@tasha1898 I usually go to Healthy Planet, but I've also seen it at Whole Foods, Goodness Me, and some Metro grocery stores have a "natural" section and they have pretty much all of the brands I can find at the health store :)
